So,

this mark is only for a final generation?

No,

it has not been.

THE Mark has been around for many centuries,

and it has to do with committing adultery with the Revelation Harlot and her False Prophet.

It is false attributions such as UPC symbols that actually detract from what the Mark really is.

Moloch slaughtering the perpetual victim……

A perpetual victim is The Mark of apostasy,

and fornication with the Harlot and her False Prophet.

That perpetual victim has taken on many guises.

That knowledge existed much,

much,

before the 7-day folk existed.

Many Reformers

(and those before them)

lost their lives because of it.

None of them were "7-day".

Many have taken it…..

by fornicating with the Harlot and her False Prophet.

It is not an external mark,

no more than is the Mark of God all those in Christ have on their foreheads.

And yes,

many have indeed been physically beheaded for not having taken the mark,

but even that isn't the "beheading" to which that refers.

Christ Jesus is the Head of a man

(claiming to be a Christian),

and by fornicating with the Harlot through following the False Prophet,

that man has been "beheaded"

(fallen from Christ),

in having made the False Prophet his head.

I did neglect an important part to my response.

Men taking another head as their authority is the fornication,

as I said.

Indeed,

they are spiritually beheaded,

but how this "beheading" relates to the Saints of which that was speaking,

was in the Man of Sin condemning them to eternal damnation.

Of course,

that curse is vain,

and he damned (and damns) them for not bowing to his assumed "authority".

As to your response:

>It would be nice if you knew what you were talking about before you tried to teach others.

That doesn't further the discussion.

But it is a typical technique used to discredit.

>Fornicating spiritually is any religion that took you away from God.

>Men did that from the Garden of Eden forward.

This is true,

but the context of the Revelation is regarding the Harlot who has committed adultery against Christ,

so it is relative to that.

>The mark of the beast is a currency and an ID and a work permit and a permit

to buy and sell mandated by a One World Ruler we call the Antichrist.

Quite so it is a "currency".

The "currency" is "good works",

of which those following the works "gospel" of the False Prophet

(sacramentalism)

believe they are purchasing their way to Heaven thereby.

>It is at least 42 months in the future, today. At least.

Funny,

but it was the Jesuits who started that disino about it being far,

far,

into the future…..

to distract from their False Prophet being accused of being the Antichrist.

>But my how time flies.

It has flown far faster than you suppose.

First,

that was the Apostle James.

Next,

James was contrasting vain faith against genuine Faith.

A "faith" producing no righteous behavior,

is a dead,

thus, a vain faith.

It is useless regarding godliness.

The true Faith produces righteous behavior,

just as a good tree produces good fruit.

This contrasts to the vain faith as producing evil fruit,

ungodliness persecuting the godly because of envy

(as it had in Cain against Abel).

This is mentioned by James,

when he rebuked those with a vain faith for bringing the godly ones to the Sanhedrin for not following the ritual laws,

such as the sacrifice for sin.

Why would one with the genuine Faith perpetuate the sacrifice for sin,

seeing Christ remitted the sins of His people?

That verse does not refer to the oft quoted adage to which you were referring.

So glad to see you mention the proper dating of Patmos!

Again,

as I already stated,

the currency is relative to purchasing one's way to "heaven",

the commodity of which would be "good works".

Those "good works" would be submission to the sacraments of the Harlot,

without which all were cursed.

Indeed,

when the False Prophet was cursing the Saints for not bowing to him and his Harlot,

those Saints were prevented from having any mercantile access,

since all those doing any business with them were also condemned.

To address this "worldwide" aspect,

the Harlot is indeed a global religion,

found in every nation,

and spoken in every language of man.

Even the term "Catholic" means "Universal".

That's as "worldwide" as it gets.

For instance,

grain and other crops are a commodity.

These were often used in exchange for other goods.

In the context of the Harlot,

she is using souls as a commodity.

She promises them eternal well being if they exchange their souls for it by submitting to her False Prophet.

And thank you,

I will continue to lurk.
