I think also, the majority of Twatter users were actually Patriots and sane people contrary to the narrative that it was a leftists oasis. I think the large amount of left leaning ideologies that lived there were bots. By purging patriots and normal minded americans they eliminated the majority. Trump was the battery that energized Twatter. Trump gave those who liked him and those who didn't commentary to interact with. He also fed the bots something to ping off. Without Trump and his supporters there is silence, and no reason for that shitty platform to exist.
