I've done some more breakpoint walking and all I see are things being intialized to setup the functions. The functions aren't called.
the controls aren't displayed.
the functionality is loaded, but not enabled to use through controls on the screen.
conclusion: I haven't found anything concerning except for some very very poorly written timer code.
I just want to remind everyone of the ongoing redirect to /random bug that has gone on today, and yesterday, for some posters.
a post is made which does not post, but redirects to /random
this should be notabled.

also the Swordie poster didn't just post a single sword anon post, but a stream of very shill like posts, as if it's not really Swordie at all (a marker in the morning breads)
and I have no way to prove that Swordie only posts one post when he does post, except someone else commented on that some weeks back.

not that the redirect to /random bug, that has been noted here , and in other breads, means that many posters are restricted and unable ot post.
If they try, they get redirected to the 8kun/random, and their post is not made.
