>Anyone have a quess on what Jo is going to do to get the pushed out for nasty Harris to take the spot?
Today's stumble will be the impetus.
He'll address the nation in a seated interview with Stephanopoulos and give a standard Joe performance
"I stubbed my - oh I better not." Joe looks down unsure then looks back at Stephanopoulos and squints. "Look, here's the deal. Th-th-th stairs." Holds hands up. "And I got a lot of serious problems now. No. Seriously.!" Raises eyebrows and furls botoxed brow. Eyes wide. "This isn't a joke. I mean being president is serious business, man. And so is health. Especially with Covid. You got to be healthy." Joe settles down and crosses his legs. squints. "So I and Jill, I mean, Jill and I, God she's going to kill me," Joe chuckles and looks off camera at the supposed Jill Biden with a smile.
"We think it's time for me to go. You know the thing with the airplane, the stairs, my toe, COVID killing people, my health, you know all of it. The whole thing. Not to mention I'm not a young guy anymore, George. I mean I feel great, I feel young, but my toe, the stairs, it's just time. That's why Kamala chose me as her running mate. So in case something happened to me, like you saw, with the air force, I mean stairs, the stairs on airplane one. We always thought she could be vice president and I could retire. From the beginning that was the deal. So, Jill and I talked it over, we just think it's time. Time for me to hand things over to Jill now. She's black, she's young, and she really gets it, George. She really does. Besides, no one wants to hear from an old white guy anymore. Times are changing. Times have changed. It's time for a woman's voice on the world stage. A black woman. She's part indian too. That's why my cabinet was the most progressive and racially diverse in history."
Joe leans back, lip quivers. "It's been an honor though. I mean who would've thunk some kid from scranton could be President one day? But it's time, that's all. It's just - look at me, I'm just going on here. I better shut up. You go ahead George. I'm sure you have questions."
