They had a huge surge of new customers and like most businesses couldn’t keep up with that much growth so they had to shut down to stay in financial compliance.
Robinhood can’t be blamed in this. If stock trades and bank trades settled within a few minutes instead of a few days that would’ve fixed the issue.
