According to a recent report, over the past decade, workers’ deductibles increased by 176%, while coinsurance rose 67%, workers’ total cost-share went up by 54%, health costs rose 49%, as well as costs paid by insurance, which climbed 49%. Added together, the relative spike in living expenses jumped 395%, while wages only rose by 29%.
