Those would all be great ideas except that when we are forced to pay taxes, I don't think that we should feel bad when the money actually gets spent on us. Look how much the gov't wastes on absolute bullshit stuff. Giving people food & electric & water should be a priority.
The thing that has been going on for the last few decades, the way I see it, is that there has been a purposeful agenda to make working poor worse off than people who have made a life style off of "living on the Welfare System". That way Socialism is made to look more appealing to the working poor, who have been trampled on. And the middle class is just kept treading water, never getting ahead with repressive taxes and mandatory insurance premiums, where one extended hospital stay can bankrupt a family.
