China Panic: Taiwan Could Sink Half Of The Chinese Fleet after the US sends Large Missiles Helping Taiwan

To defeat a Chinese invasion fleet, the Taiwanese military would need to sink half of the attacking ships. But dropping potentially hundreds of vessels would require an arsenal of no fewer than 1,200 anti-ship missiles.

Despite recent Taiwanese purchases of American F-16 fighters and M-1 tanks and Taipei’s ambitious effort to develop a new submarine, today China has more and better conventional forces than Taiwan possesses. Taipei no longer can count on defeating an invasion fleet far from the island’s shores.

Meanwhile, Regular freedom of navigation exercises by the US Navy has challenged maritime claims in the region. Warships sent by other Western navies have also been spotted sailing through the disputed sea.

US-Destroyer transits the Taiwan Strait after China's terrifying invasion warning to Taiwan

A US warship sailed through the Taiwan Strait, and the American navy said Thursday, a day after a top US commander warned of the threat to Taiwan of a Chinese invasion within the next six years.

The US destroyer USS John Finn conducted a routine transit yesterday through the waterway separating the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, the US Seventh Fleet said. The third such voyage since President Joe Biden took office "demonstrates the US commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific," it said in a statement.

US warships periodically conduct navigation exercises in the strait, often triggering Beijing's angry responses, claiming Taiwan and surrounding waters as its territory.
