I'm from Ireland and we have been in one if the strictest lockdowns in the European union since Christmas eve Everything is closed. We cannot travel beyond 5km of our home unless it's for work . The whole country has gone mad . Vaccines have rolled out , some people have got them but there has been no sign of easing any major restrictions . The government said march 5th initially, then they said April 5th so we will kept our shit together for a little bit longer . Now the media rumours are circulating that we will have to wait until June before any major restrictions will lift. That includes travelling outside 5km, for most of us our families live far away and not with us . We are tired and we are mentally drained . Most of all , we are tired of working and seeing no end result , no light at the end of tunnel, just constant misery , depression, and reminders that if we leave our house or dont act vigilant we are the reason other people will die and get sick. Forget zero covid, this is zero unhappiness
