Guardian: UK, France and Germany agree to reject US demand for Iran snapback sanctions

This post worried me, perhaps more than it should. My ancestors came from England and I assume most people here have roots in Europe.

The people there are beginning to fight back against the EU but they have given up so much, I doubt they will be able to withstand full on assault from rulers. We are going to be more and more isolated and without allies.

Obviously canada is no ally. Mexico is trying(it seems) but they can't control their own problems.

It is troubling. We are basically surrounded.
