Everything you do takes you closer to death. Breathing polluted air is slow suicide, a bullet is fast suicide. Many people are killing themselves slowly, calling it something other than suicide. Desire leads to birth which leads to life, then sin and then death. So really the suicide begins before birth, with desire. Even the Bible says this, but most of you miss it.
