I think you are right. Those systems already designed to give each user a "personalized" experience. Your medical records are digital now too, so (they) can access those w/o breaking a sweat, allowing them to target individuals who are susceptible in certain ways. Imagine if they also targeted those around you, connected by proximity, family, or social relationships. (They) could literally put you in a very real bubble of personalized disinfo designed to modify your behaviour, and drive you mad enough to do these things.
