Thinking about the statue in the book of Daniel, the last empire is comprised of what appears to be elements of the old Roman Empire. The Roman Empire had two legs, a western half and an eastern half. Europe and basically parts of the middle east. The last empire. It is the last beast. It appears to be more of an economic empire than anything else. Then we have things like this:
