Online vaccine scams: Homeland Security Investigations, INTERPOL issue public warning

'Be vigilant, be skeptical, be safe'

WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)and INTERPOL have joined forces to warn the public against purchasing alleged COVID-19 vaccines and treatments online.

With criminal groups producing, distributing and selling fake vaccines, the risks to the public are clear: these can include buying a product which not only does not protect against COVID-19, but poses a serious health hazard if ingested or injected. Such products are not tested, regulated or safety-checked.

Legitimate vaccines are not for sale. They are strictly administered and distributed by national healthcare regulators.

“Counterfeit vaccines threaten the health of consumers who are duped by nefarious actors seeking to exploit the pandemic situation for financial gain. HSI and its law enforcement partners will vigorously investigate and seek prosecution for criminals taking advantage of the public’s quest for COVID-19 vaccinations and those who endanger the lives of the very people the vaccines are intended to protect,” said HSI Assistant Director, and Director of the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center, Steve Francis.

Anyone buying these products online also runs the risk of potentially giving their money to organized criminals.

Crime wave

“From the very beginning of the pandemic, criminals have preyed on people’s fears in order to make fast cash. Fake vaccines are the latest in these scams, which is why INTERPOL and HSI are warning the public to be extra vigilant,” said INTERPOL Secretary General Jürgen Stock. “Anyone ordering a vaccine online rather than obtaining it from their national provider, will be buying a fake product.”

“The networks behind these crimes have global ambitions. No country or region can fight this type of crime alone. INTERPOL is assisting law enforcement around the world to both identify criminal networks and to dismantle them,” added Secretary General Stock.

Following a global alert issued by INTERPOL in late 2020 the world police body recently announced the first internationally linked arrests and seizures in connection with fake vaccines after criminal networks were disrupted in China and South Africa.

INTERPOL has also been receiving additional information on fake vaccine distribution and scam attempts targeting health bodies, including nursing homes.

“HSI will continue to work with INTERPOL to coordinate investigations targeting every level of the transnational criminal organizations trafficking in counterfeit COVID-19 vaccines,” added Francis.

What a shame.

At one point, Lee’s frequent long-distance diagnoses extended to Professor Alan Dershowitz. He wrote a strongly worded letter to Yale, which apparently played a role.

Female Military Member Dies After COVID-19 Vaccine, Showed No Side Effects: Officials

Ukraine’s health agency reported that a female military member died after receiving AstraZeneca’s CoviShield CCP virus vaccine but stressed that the public should not jump to conclusions.

The agency said that the woman did not complain of any side effects before her death. After receiving the shot, she died about two days later, officials said on the health ministry’s website, reported Reuters.

The woman had underlying heart problems and other underlying health conditions. Her cause of death is being investigated, the health ministry said.

The same batch of vaccine was used to administer shots to nine other people without any problems, said officials, as reported by Reuters.

Ukraine’s army also confirmed on Tuesday that the servicewoman had died. According to Reuters, it is the first death reported since Ukraine started vaccination in February after getting the CoviShield vaccine.

Earlier this month, the AstraZeneca vaccine was suspended in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, and other European countries after reports of blood clots and deaths. Later, the European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organization stated the data available doesn’t suggest that the vaccine caused their deaths.

However, some health officials in other countries, including the United States, raised concerns Tuesday that positive trial results released by AstraZeneca earlier this week for its vaccine may have used incomplete data.

The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), in a statement, said it and other agencies are “concerned by information released by AstraZeneca on initial data from its COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial.”

“The [Data and Safety Monitoring Board] expressed concern that AstraZeneca may have included outdated information from that trial, which may have provided an incomplete view of the efficacy data,” the NIH said. “We urge the company to work with the [Data and Safety Monitoring Board] to review the efficacy data and ensure the most accurate, up-to-date efficacy data be made public as quickly as possible.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s wife and children have exclusively donated to Democratic candidates – including Donald Trump’s opponents Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, The National Pulse can reveal.

The news comes shortly on the back of the revelation that Fauci is the highest earning, publicly-funded federal employee. Meaning he’s using your taxes to fund political candidates.

Dr. Fauci’s wife, Christine Grady, heads the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center and has donated eight times to Democrat campaigns.

According to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) database, every single penny of the total $2,450 sum has gone to Democratic candidates.

And the majority of the donations have gone directly to candidates challenging Donald Trump.

Five donations totaling $1,200 were sent to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and one donation totaling $150 went to Joe Biden.

Similarly, Dr. Fauci’s daughter Alison has donated exclusively to Democratic candidates in the form of 19 donations totaling $375.

The donations, occurring in 2019 and 2020, have gone to a variety of candidates including then-presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren and Georgia Senate candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

Two donations amounting to over 50 percent of her total donations were directed to the campaign of President Joe Biden.

Alison Fauci also works at Twitter, a platform that has suspended users for disagreeing with the flip-flop recommendations of her father.

Sky News host Peta Credlin has accused Liberal staffers of holding gay “orgies” at Parliament House claiming she was dubbed “a bitch” for trying to sack staff involved in the behaviour.

The former chief of staff to former Prime Minister Tony Abbott has also warned she knows the culprits exposed in sick videos of men masturbating on desks in Parliament House.

And she also said — for the first time — that she had sacked one of the men involved in the videos nearly a decade ago and had vowed he would never set foot in the building again.

Ms Credlin claimed that in one historical instance — that did not involve any of the men in the video — that evidence was found of a Liberal staffer involved in “orgies”.

After one man was sacked for what she described as “disloyalty” she revealed that evidence was found of “orgies” when MPs left the office for Question Time.

“When the MP cleaned out the staffer’s desk and the computer, that MP uncovered evidence that for many months that staffer had regularly met with other men, in the middle of the day, when the MP was in question time, for orgies in political offices,” Ms Credlin said during her show on Wednesday night.

“Labor staffers, not just this Coalition man, and a number of others too.”

Ms Credlin said it was Mr Abbott who reintroduced tougher standards when he was elected Liberal leader.

“Tony Abbott understood that maintaining standards for staff was as much about keeping good ones as weeding out the bad ones,” she said.

‘Talladega Nights’ actor Houston Tumlin dead at 28

Actor Houston Tumlin, who played young Walker Bobby opposite Will Ferrell’s Ricky Bobby in “Talladega Nights,” has died at 28 by suicide, TMZ has reported.

Tumlin, who lived in Pelham, Alabama, took his own life with a gunshot to the head at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans.

His girlfriend, whose identity was not disclosed, was reportedly inside the home at the time of death.

No letter or indication of intended suicide has been found.

Mess-Up! Raniere ‘Victims’ Full Names Published Accidentally Online on Government Website –Defense’s Restitution Claims Filed Under Seal Is Live for Hours Before Taken Down

Everyone who claimed to be a victim in the federal case against Keith Raniere, and his codefendants, was named in a document accidentally published on the US courts website, PACER.gov., [Pacer is an acronym for Public Access to Court Electronic Records] earlier today.

In the past, the court has taken extraordinary pains to shield the identities of most of the women who alleged they were victims of Raniere, and his codefendants, Allison Mack, Clare Bronfman, Nancy Salzman and Lauren Salzman.

The accidentally published document was filed by attorneys for Raniere, who produced a 121-page package including exhibits, to present to the US Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York, detailing their written objections to the US Attorney’s recommendations for restitution for his alleged victims.

On the first page of the document, it reads “FILED UNDER SEAL,” meaning it was not supposed to be made public but available only to the court, the prosecution, and the defense.

The document was first noticed this morning at around 8:00 AM on Pacer.gov. In accordance with an order of US District Court Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis, only the existence of the document, not its contents, was supposed to be published. Judge Garaufis sentenced Raniere to 120 years in federal prison following his conviction on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, forced labor and other felonies.

The document published today includes a chart with the full names of everyone who alleged they were a victim of Raniere, some of whom have never been identified before, in addition to the amount of restitution each one requested and how much the government recommended they should receive. There are 117 individuals named; some 92 women and 25 men.

The document remained online for hours before being taken down from the PACER website after Frank Report associate editor Joe O’Hara took steps to notify interested parties. It was taken down shortly afterward.

It remains unclear whether it was a filing error on the part of attorneys for Raniere or by PACER. It is not known how many downloaded the document during the hours it was available online.

Pentagon: HHS Requests DOD Assistance to Detain Migrant Children in Texas

The Pentagon confirmed on Tuesday that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) requested help from the Department of Defense to hold unaccompanied minors coming from Mexico into the United States.

“The Department of Defense has received a request for assistance from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to temporarily house unaccompanied migrant children. Specifically, HHS has requested use of select a vacant dormitory at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, Texas and an area of land on Fort Bliss, Texas,” Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said at a press conference.

“If provided, this support would be on a fully-reimbursable basis, and DoD would only provide this kind of support where will not negatively affect military training, operations, readiness, or other military requirements, including National Guard and Reserve readiness. If this request is approved, HHS would maintain its responsibility for the well-being and support for these children,” Kirby said.

The Pentagon also confirmed that HHS conducted an assessment visit to Fort Bliss earlier on Tuesday, and a visit to San Antonio last week.

CNN reported Monday that nearly 5,000 minors are currently in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Despite federal court orders requiring CBP to turn children over to HHS within 72 hours, the Biden administration has become overwhelmed and unable to comply.

The request for help from DOD came after photos of CBP facilities now holding the migrant children leaked to U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar were published by Axios showing them sleeping on the floor crowded together and wrapped in silver foil blankets.

Kirby said HHS’s request to DOD came on Tuesday, but that he did not know the number of children HHS was requesting that DOD house temporarily.

He noted that the DOD also provided facilities for migrant children in 2012 and 2017.

“So this is not — it is not out of the norm for us to support these kinds of requests,” the Pentagon spokesman said.

HHS has already opened up one non-DOD facility in Dallas for more than 2,000 children and will soon open another one in San Diego.

Kirby confirmed there are about 3,500 National Guard troops stationed at the southern border, providing support to the Customs and Border Protection, in a mission that began under former President Donald Trump.

“They’re not involved in actual Border Patrol missions. They’re doing things that will free the Border Patrol agents up to do their jobs. I know of no changes to that mission right now,” Kirby concluded.

Joe Biden got confused again on Wednesday during a meeting at the White House discussing the border crisis.

Biden lied about the border crisis on Wednesday and blamed Trump for the migrant surge.

“This new surge we’re dealing with now started in the last administration but it’s our responsibility to deal with it humanely,” said Biden.

“The vice president has agreed…to lead our diplomatic effort…I can think of nobody who is better qualified to do this,” he added.

After lying about the migrant crisis, Joe Biden got confused again so his Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, told the press to leave the room.

“Um now we’re going to get down to business here and, uh, Ron, who am I turning this over to?” Biden said to his Chief of Staff.

“Thank you very much Mr. President, I think it’s time for our friends in the press to leave though,” Klain replied.

Biden isn’t in charge of anything so his Chief of Staff didn’t want the reporters to see who’s really calling the shots.

The lost look in Biden’s eyes is disturbing!

Upper Hunter MP Michael Johnsen stands aside over rape allegations

Nationals MP Michael Johnsen will take leave from NSW Parliament as police investigate allegations he raped a sex worker at a secluded Blue Mountains lookout.

Mr Johnsen, the member for the Upper Hunter, late on Wednesday identified himself as the NSW MP under investigation by the NSW Police Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad over the incident in September 2019.

His statement came after Blue Mountains Labor MP Trish Doyle used parliamentary privilege on Wednesday afternoon to say she had been contacted 18 months ago by a woman who alleged she had been sexually assaulted by an MP in the Berejiklian government.

In the unannounced speech that surprised some members of her own party, Ms Doyle did not name the MP, but outlined details of the alleged incident including that he had made contact with the woman via the adult classified website Locanto and arranged to meet her on his way home from Sydney.

The man was offering $200 for “oral sex only”, Ms Doyle told Parliament on Wednesday.

“She tells me she made herself clear that she was not willing to have penetrative sex with him. However, towards the end the man moved around behind her and assaulted her in a way she had not consented to,” Ms Doyle said.

She told Parliament the sex worker did not consent to penetrative sex and although was initially reluctant to go to the police, she has since reported the matter and it is now being investigated.

NSW Police later confirmed the investigation was ongoing and had begun after the woman reported the incident in September 2020.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s office refused to comment, with Mr Johnsen later releasing his statement saying he would stand aside from the parliamentary secretary role, and would move to the crossbench and not sit in the Nationals nor the joint party room.
