Yes, I am aware that they can be used for almost anything. Also that they're hard to insulate, and need to be media-blaster prior to long-term habitation (the anti-fungals and insecticides are toxic).
Still doesn't mean that there are literal cargo containers filled with kids. Within the world of human trafficking, children are a high-value commodity. As such, they're not transported in the same fashion as other commodities, like kitchen laborers.
But who knows? This latest fuckup is definitely putting sand into everyone's underpants, to go along with all the other sand and gravel that's been dumped in over the last year.
Shit is fucked, and we're just getting started.
