I've read some interesting historical accounts about how bitter cold it was during the 1770s. Where the East Coast harbors were all solid frozen and people had to burn furniture to stay warm and many even froze to death in their beds. But then the climate got warmer in subsequent decades.
But there was no CO2 industry exhaust and petroleum fuel to create warming.
So do we assume it got warmer because of whale oil lamps?
My brain hurts.
