So here's a thought about that stuck container ship. Why not just lighten the load? She will float higher in the water at that point right? Seems it would make it a lot easier to get her unstuck. Kinda like when a semi gets stuck under an overpass, let the air out of the wheels.
I guess it all depends on WHO got it stuck in the first place and WHY, and WHO is actually running the show.
In other words, was it stuck on purpose or truly and accident.

Mobility and military assets. If you had assets in the Med, how hard is it now to reposition them to say somewhere in the east? Of course you could just blast the hell out of it in a pinch if you REALLY needed to get somewhere in a hurry.
