>sauce of the idolatry.
You'd have to follow his twitter for specifics, but he's denounced people as heretics for saying anything even remotely historically accurate re: the virgin Mary, or questioning doctrines that don't make sense. It just goes downhill from there, and with most that put blind trust in any institution (maybe that's why he's doing it? To be an example?).
>I think you just don't understand the concept of teaching stories conveyed through iconography.
You mean like telling children to believe in Santa so they'll be good boys/girls until Christmas? No thanks. Using fairy tales to teach morality is one of our biggest issues as humans. Just tell the truth and work with your children to develop upstanding morals and better character using real life scenarios. Sure, you could have some stories in your pocket just in case an allegory is needed, but be honest about them being allegories. No need for the "This is the absolute truth!" bullshit. The absolute truth is that which you seek to instill when teaching right from wrong.
You don't need to be told you were created imperfectly from the birth canal by God so that you can spend the rest of your life trying to find God because you got it wrong being born. That's the very definition of a psyop insinuating God doesn't get it right the first time. Finding God, however, does consist of seeking truth in all that you do. Positive thinking and encouragement go much farther instilling morals than hellfire and brimstone.
Not to mention that iconography as it exists today is a holdover from paganism that was absorbed by the Catholics as they were raping/pillaging their way through undiscovered worlds, forcibly converting people. Had Christ come in 4000 BC, there'd be Greek Gods named as saints.
Did you know that Israel (before the fall into Baal worship) was a nation united by a common goal of preserving Israel, but divided among many religions? You think all those millions of people throughout the entirety of human history are in hell because they didn't what was coming yet? Today, though, we're told if we don't believe a very specific thing, we go to Hell. It's bullshit if you truly believe God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
>He's a awesome young man who'se really gotten through some difficult times.
Aren't we all? Isn't that why we're all here? I'm not dissing on him, just pointing out that blind faith (or at least his pretending to have such) is a bit annoying. No need to divisionfag based on personal experiences or religious beliefs. There are people responsible for this site and other communities outside of the www that have been through much and accomplished in life. His isn't the only success story. In the end, we are all Q.
