They make great watch birds…but they are as stupid as they are loud and beautiful. The next island over from mine is loaded with them and occassionally one will wind up on mine. I was shooting one day out into the marsh and one came strolling up out of the marsh, parallel to the line of fire and just sauntered up to where I was shooting, ignoring it like it was nothing.
