The Good witch told Dorothy that she had the power all along in her silver (later Ruby Red) shoes, which she got from the Wicked Witch (Devil) The Wizard (psudo god) was a phony who couldn't really help her. She had to, and could, save herself. Pure heathen message, that we don't need God and can save ourselves.

 

The Devil lied to Eve and told her that she could be like God. Someone who is like God doesn't need God. The Devil, the Great Deceiver, wants us to think that we don't need God, we only need ourselves.

If both parents are Rh- then they won't have any problems with having kids. But if mom is Rh- and Dad is Rh+ there could be a problem with any child conceived after their first child is born. Maybe they didn't really know the whole Rh factor thing, but they knew if they kept track of surviving bloodlines and then matched them up, that their 2nd born, ect. children would have a better chance of survival.

A good genealogy record might have provided them with info that gave them a better chance of having surviving offspring.

If "the plan" has failed, then oh well, we're no worse off than if there had never been a "plan"

 

Sort of like if a parent promises a kid a bike but then doesn't get the kid a bike. The kid has no bike either way, if the parent had promised it or not.
