Harvard Professor Sanctioned for Giving Sexual Predator Jeffrey Epstein a Visitor Card for Unrestricted Access to Campus

A biology and mathematics professor at Harvard University was sanctioned for his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — which included giving the serial predator unrestricted access to the campus.

The professor, Martin Nowak, was placed on administrative leave last year over the scandal. Now, he is getting ready to start teaching at the Ivy League institution once again.

Harvard Magazine reports that Nowak’s connections to Epstein were spelled out in a 2020 report: between 1998 and 2008, Epstein made gifts of $6.5 million to the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, which was run by Nowak. (That figure made up the largest share of the $9.1 million in total gifts that Epstein donated to the University during that period.)”

The massive donations lead to Epstein being given his own space in the PED office, as well as key codes and a visitor card that allowed him unlimited access to the building. The investigation found that Epstein visited the campus over 40 times between 2010 and 2018.

The perks Epstein received did not stop there. Nowak’s team also created a page about Epstein online as “part of a larger effort to rehabilitate his image” following his sex crime conviction in 2018. It was taken down after one of Epstein’s victims contacted the university to complain.

Harvard has announced that the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics will be shut down and Nowak will be barred from supervising new students or advising undergrads for two years.

Dean for Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Claudine Gay said that she believes that the sanctions are “proportionate to the severity of the behaviour observed,” and that he may regain some of those privileges after a review in two years.

Epstein was found dead in his prison cell while awaiting trial in 2019.

Eric Trump was asked by Fox host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” about the allegations swirling around President Biden’s son and the gun that turned up missing in 2018 — and his involvement in business dealings in China and Ukraine, as reported by The Post last October.

“Obviously, Hunter is a troubled kid, right? There’s no question about that. But if that was Don or I, or if that was anybody in the Trump family, and we lied on a federal form, we’d be in jail for the rest of our lives. We really would be,” former President Donald Trump’s son told Bartiromo.

“And it’s amazing. There’s no one even, there’s no one even talking about that. He lied on multiple questions. It wasn’t just the drug question. He lied on multiple questions,” he said.

“And I think a lot of people, Maria, in this country are sick and tired of the unequal scales of justice,” Eric Trump said.

Asked on the gun purchase transaction receipt whether he was an “unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” he answered: “No,” Politico reported.

But five years earlier he had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine and he and other Biden family members have been open about his history of drug abuse.

US tech entrepreneur Jennifer Arcuri has said it out loud – she and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had a four-year relationship while he was still married to the mother of his four children, Marina Wheeler. “He was in contact all night. I did see him on the television. It was bizarre,” Arcuri says while revealing that the now prime minister was constantly texting her that night.

She would also occasionally tease him with some “tasteful” topless pics during their romance. Once she even got quite a weird reply to one of the racy photos, Arcuri says, as Johnson described her exposing image as “enough to make a bishop kick through a stained-glass window”.

“He’d say, ‘You are the most beautiful woman, I can’t stop thinking about you, but I love hearing what you have to say. Of course I love your body, and your face, and your breasts, but you are a very clever woman and I feel so honoured you would have me in your life,” the American shared.

The woman believes she “loved” and “adored” the mayor during their four-year stint but got increasingly tired of being “a back-up plan”, finally ending their relationship in 2016.

‘Conflict of Interest’ Allegations

Arcuri says that she also got extremely disappointed in her ex-beau, who failed to support her during the 2019 favouritism accusations.

The Sunday Times reported in September 2019, several months before the UK general election, that the ex-mayor Johnson was engaged in a conflict of interest for failing to declare his close friendship with Arcuri. The woman had participated in three trade mission trips and received thousands of pounds through mayoral funds and government programmes for her company Innotech back in 2013.

Americans will soon need a "vaccine passport" to engage in commerce.

After months of speculation, today The Washington Post confirmed that the Biden regime is developing a “vaccine passport” that Americans may need to present to prove they have received their COVID-19 vaccine before they will be allowed to engage in commerce in a “return to normalcy” that looks nothing like the past.

According to The Washington Post, the Biden regime “and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as ‘vaccine passports’ — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen.”

They note that many businesses, “from cruise lines to sports teams,” will require individuals to take the COVID-19 vaccine before they are offered business. The Biden regime, apparently, views this as a positive development.

“The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones,” the Post reported. “Which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass. Americans without smartphone access should be able to print out the passports, developers have said.”

According to those developing the vaccine passports, they must be entirely unique, and not able to be hacked or tampered with, lest Americans engage in commerce without taking one of the controversial vaccines.

Biden’s team is apparently committed to the vaccine passports, though they refused to speak to the media on the subject, and apparently do not like branding them “passports” but would instead like to see them called “credentials or certificates.” The Washington Post explains:

Micky Tripathi, whom Biden tapped as the national coordinator for health IT, recently said federal officials are concerned with a variety of health-tech challenges, including protecting the credentials against fraud, ensuring data security and making certain that low-income populations aren’t squeezed out.

“How do we make sure that whatever is available is accessible to everyone so no one is left behind or feeling like they can’t participate in the return of their day-to-day activities?” Tripathi asked at a virtual meeting hosted by the Health IT Leadership Roundtable on March 11.

Tripathi told the group he didn’t like the term “vaccine passports,” adding that “passports are something that are issued by governments. … I think of them as vaccine credentials or certificates.” Tripathi did not respond to a request for comment.

The Washington Post explains that the initiative is happening globally, with the CDC participating in the controversial World Health Organization’s initiative to roll out the passports.

The left wing newspaper also believes that the vaccines can be used to bully skeptical Americans into taking the controversial vaccines.

“There is evidence vaccine passports could motivate skeptical Americans to get shots. Several vaccine-hesitant participants at a recent focus group of Trump voters led by pollster Frank Luntz suggested their desire to see family, go on vacation and resume other aspects of daily life outpaced fear of the shots, particularly if travel companies and others moved to require proof of vaccination,” they assert.

However, the Biden regime apparently wants this pressure to come entirely in the form of corporate interests requiring vaccines, and does not want to use the weight of the federal government to require the vaccine passports.

Biden Admin Waves Background Checks for Caregivers at Child Migrant Facilities

In yet another testament to how little the Democrats actually care about the “kids in cages” that they railed on about for so long under Trump, the Biden admin has now waved FBI background checks for the kid’s caregivers.

With the border crisis continuously escalating, the admin is in a major rush to fill the positions — and apparently do not care if the people they are hiring are safe to be around the minors.

The Associated Press reports:

In the rush to get children out of overcrowded and often unsuitable Border Patrol sites, President Joe Biden’s team is turning to a measure used by previous administrations: tent camps, convention centers and other huge facilities operated by private contractors and funded by U.S. Health and Human Services. In March alone, the Biden administration announced it will open eight new emergency sites across the Southwest adding 15,000 new beds, more than doubling the size of its existing system.

Additionally, the report states that “these emergency sites don’t have to be licensed by state authorities or provide the same services as permanent HHS facilities. They also cost far more, an estimated $775 per child per day.”

“And to staff the sites quickly, the Biden administration has waived vetting procedures intended to protect minors from potential harm,” the report continues. “Staff and volunteers directly caring for children at new emergency sites don’t have to undergo FBI fingerprint checks, which use criminal databases not accessible to the public and can overcome someone changing their name or using a false identity.”

HHS issued a statement saying that the potential staff must still “pass public record criminal background checks,” but that process depends on the honesty of the applicant.

“While the various background checks could identify some past criminal convictions or sexual offenses, these checks were not as extensive as the FBI fingerprint background checks,” the HHS inspector general previously said.

ACSC running scans to find vulnerable Microsoft Exchange servers in Australia

'10s of organisations' have spotted Microsoft Exchange vulnerability indicators on their systems, according to the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

Head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Abigail Bradshaw has told senators "10s of organisations" have so far reached out to her agency regarding vulnerable Microsoft Exchange servers.

"We have had feedback from 10s of organisations who have spotted the indicators of compromise and whom we've assisted," Bradshaw said. "The fact that people are engaging us on the basis that they've identified indicators of compromise is evidence both of the fact that they've seen the advice because they've run the specific scripts, but also an understanding that they understand and are able to spot for themselves where there are vulnerabilities on their systems."

Bradshaw's remarks were in response to senators raising concerns on Wednesday night that around 7,000 servers in Australia were vulnerable to the threat, with 11,000 Australian IPs found as potentially vulnerable.

"We have also used what we call part of our cyber hygiene improvement program, which has been funded under the Cyber Enhanced Situational Awareness and Response funding, which gives the ACSC capacity to run scans on externally facing internet connections, which has assisted us to observe the number of systems that still require patching, which means that we have some familiarity with the numbers of servers that were identified," Bradshaw explained.

She said the ACSC has been monitoring those flagged as vulnerable "extraordinarily closely" by running constant scans. She said the ACSC has observed a "very substantial degree of patching".

"And as a consequence, many, many fewer servers, which remain vulnerable since that date," she said.

The ACSC has also engaged directly with managing director of Microsoft Australia Steven Worrall, Bradshaw said, in regards to the results of its scanning.

"[We] engage them on how we can assist them to get to any residual Microsoft customers who might be running that particular server," she added.

Director-General of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Rachel Noble said her organisation was first made aware of the Microsoft Exchange issue on March 3, resulting in the ACSC sending out an email blast to its 63,500 subscribers.

The ACSC also wrote directly to 100 of its Commonwealth government CISOs and an additional 50 in state and territory governments.

The pleas worked and the newspaper editor agreed not to publish, but there was no cause for celebration knowing: "Someone was actively fabricating a story to make sure that it looked like I was some flippant floozy who wasn't really serious about the job that I'd been promoted to do."

Chris Wallace blasts Jen Psaki over border crisis, media blackout: 'Less transparent than Trump'

Fox News host Chris Wallace grilled White House press secretary Jen Psaki Sunday over the Biden administration's handling of the border crisis, confronting her over allegations that officials are blocking media from disseminating critical information related to migrants and the conditions of migrant detention facilities.

Journalists have accused the Biden administration of blocking media access to document the border crisis. Award-winning photojournalist John Moore said he was even forced to photograph the crisis from the Mexico side of the U.S.-Mexico border.

"I have photographed CBP under Bush, Obama and Trump but now — zero access is granted to media," Moore said earlier this month. " Until now, US photojournalists haven't needed to stand in another country to photograph what's happening — in the United States."

In fact, NBC News reported the Biden administration enacted an unofficial "gag order" on Customs and Border Protection agents, limiting what information they share with journalists and restricting media access to migrant facilities. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has denied that such an order exists.

What happened between Wallace and Psaki?

While being interviewed on "Fox News Sunday," Wallace confronted Psaki, and pointed out the Biden administration is being "less transparent than the Trump administration."

Wallace began by acknowledging the fact that Americas only know about the conditions of migrant detention centers because members of Congress, who have toured some facilities, released pictures of the detention centers.

"These kids are living in these conditions now. They're not living in these conditions some indeterminate time from now when the president says everything will be fixed," Wallace said. "So why not allow reporters and camera crews in on a pool basis safely to take pictures and show the American people what's happening in those Border Patrol facilities right now?"

Psaki responded by claiming that Biden, Mayorkas, and the entire administration is "absolutely committed" to providing media access.

"When?" Wallace shot back.

Psaki claimed the administration provided Fox News with access to a facility just last week, adding the Biden administration is not blocking media from the facilities, but rather is limiting access because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Wallace pointed out that Fox News was not granted access to a Border Patrol migrant detention facility, but a different facility operated by the Department of Health and Human Services.

"Just to clarify, Jen, you allowed a camera crew in to see the HHS facilities. What we're talking about here are the Border Patrol facilities, the detention cells," Wallace pointed out as Psaki attempted to interrupt. "There is a law — let me just finish — that they are not allowed to be there for more than 72 hours, many of them are there for 10 days."

"At this point, in terms of allowing access to Border Patrol facilities for reporters, you are being less transparent than the Trump administration," Wallace added.

When Biden was confronted over the media access issue last week, asked by a reporter specifically when journalists would be granted additional access to document migrant conditions, Biden responded, "I don't know."
