CCP-Linked Peter Daszak Has Long-Standing Relationship With “Incomparable” Dr. Fauci.

Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance – which collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology or coronavirus-related research – hosted Dr. Anthony Fauci for several speeches.

EcoHealth’s Twitter account contains a picture of Daszak – whose Chinese Communist Party research and financial ties have been extensively documented by the National Pulse – smiling next to what they call the “incomparable” Dr. Fauci in 2016.

The 2016 tweet also contains the hashtag “#EHAEvent,” which coincides with three other tweets from the same day referencing an event where Dr. Fauci spoke about the Zika virus. At the time, Dr. Fauci was the head of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) – a title he still holds in addition to Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden.

“Thanks to everyone who joined us last night in D.C. for our Zika talk, and special thanks to Dr. Fauci for a terrific presentation. Dr. Fauci demonstrated perfectly why it’s so important to put more resources toward disease prevention efforts,” the group’s Facebook page captioned the same picture of Daszak and Dr. Fauci.

The March 30th event – ‘Zika virus: A Pandemic in Progress” – counted Daszak as the primary presenter and Dr. Fauci as a special guest, according to the invitation:

Another link dated to 2016 containing the following picture of Dr. Fauci has been scrubbed from the EcoHealth site, prompting users with a “403 – Forbidden” message”:

The unearthed relationship between Dr. Fauci, Daszak, and EcoHealth Alliance is sure to complicate the fact that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) sent millions of taxpayer dollars to fund EcoHealth’s research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Despite criticisms prompting the NIH to withdraw federal funding from the group, the NIH reinstated a $7.5 million grant to the group in August 2020.

The type of research conducted by the group in tandem with the Wuhan Institute of Virology prompted concern among NIH officials for its role in COVID-related research, as outlined in a letter by NIH’s Deputy Director for Extramural Research Dr. Michael Lauer.

Dr. Lauer announced the suspension of NIH grants to the group, which saw its studies engineer the “highly specific doorway into the human body” as COVID-19, as a response:

“It is our understanding that one of the sub-recipients of the grant funds is the Wuhan Institute of Virology (‘WIV’). It is our understanding that WIV studies the interaction between corona viruses and bats. The scientific community believes that the coronavirus causing COVID-19 jumped from bats to humans likely in Wuhan where the COVID-19 pandemic began. There are now allegations that the current crisis was precipitated by the release from WIV of the coronavirus responsible for COVID-19. Given these concerns, we are pursuing suspension of WIV from participation in Federal programs.”

Muslim Leaders Just Issued a Haunting Threat to Britain over Muhammed Cartoons.

“All we ask for is a bit of respect,” said Adil Shahzad, imam of the Al-Hikam Institute in Bradford. It sounds incredibly reasonable, until the follow-up. “If one teacher can [show cartoons of Muhammed], another teacher can do it five years down the line, and we do not want this to be the case. Otherwise we are not responsible for the actions of some individuals.”

The haunting, scarcely veiled threat came days after mounting protests over a teacher sharing a cartoon of Muhammad at a school in Bradford in the North of England.

The city features prominently in National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam’s 2017 book “No Go Zones,” wherein Kassam warns of the disproportionate power of Muslim leaders in the area.

“We’re hoping that the school will do the right thing [over the cartoons],” Shahzad also said, “…because if this is the first case, which it is in this country, then it’s very likely that we will follow the route that France has taken, for example, or other European countries where firstly it’s ‘let’s insult the prophet’, then we’ll start banning the burqa.”

France has also experienced a whopping number of gruesome, Islamic-inspired terrorist attacks. Most of the British public have long believed the burqa – an oppressive, Islamic face covering for women – should be banned. Fifty-one percent said so in 2006, and 59 percent said so in 2018.

The number of Muslims in the United Kingdom passed the three million mark in 2020.

In 2015, radical Muslims murdered 12 people after the satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo exercised its free speech by publishing cartoons of Muhammed.

In 2020, French teacher Samuel Paty was murdered after showing students the Hebdo cartoons as part of learning about free speech.

370 Pounds of Meth Seized in Tractor-Trailer at Texas Border Crossing

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized nearly 370 pounds of methamphetamine at a Texas border crossing commercial lane. The officers found the $7.3 million in drugs in a tractor-trailer attempting to enter from Mexico.

CBP officers assigned to the Laredo Port of Entry on March 25 observed a tractor-trailer approaching from Mexico to enter the United States via a World Trade Bridge commercial border crossing, according to information received from Laredo, Texas, CBP officials. The driver presented a manifest listing the cargo as industrial magnets.

Officers referred the driver to a secondary inspection station where they conducted a K-9 search and a non-intrusive imaging system inspection, officials stated. During the inspection, the officers observed anomalies in the cargo. This led the agents to conduct a physical search of the load.

During the secondary inspection and search, the officers found 104 packages allegedly filled with methamphetamine. Officials said the drug load weighed 367.24 pounds. They estimated the value of the shipment to be $7,344,845.

“The level of methamphetamine abuse in the U.S. continues to rise,” Acting Port Director Eugene Crawford, Laredo Port of Entry, said in a written statement. “Seizures like this one underscore the vital role that CBP officers play in advancing our overall national border security mission and protecting the public from illegal narcotics.”

The officers seized the drug shipment and turned the case over to ICE Homeland Security Investigations for preparation of charges.

‘Captain Underpants’ Publisher Pulls Graphic Children’s Book Because It ‘Perpetuates Passive Racism’

NEW YORK (AP) — A graphic novel for children from the wildly popular “Captain Underpants” series is being pulled from library and book store shelves after its publisher said it “perpetuates passive racism.”

The book under scrutiny is 2010’s “The Adventures of Ook and Gluk” by Dav Pilkey, who has apologized, saying it “contains harmful racial stereotypes” and is “wrong and harmful to my Asian readers.”

The book follows about a pair of friends who travel from 500,001 B.C. to 2222, where they meet a martial arts instructor who teaches them kung fu and they learn principles found in Chinese philosophy.

Scholastic said it had removed the book from its websites, stopped processing orders for it and sought a return of all inventory. “We will take steps to inform schools and libraries who may still have this title in circulation of our decision to withdraw it from publication,” the publisher said in a statement.

Pilkey in a YouTube statement said he planned to donate his advance and all royalties from the book’s sales to groups dedicated to stopping violence against Asians and to promoting diversity in children’s books and publishing.

“I hope that you, my readers, will forgive me, and learn from my mistake that even unintentional and passive stereotypes and racism are harmful to everyone,” he wrote. “I apologize, and I pledge to do better.”

The decision comes amid a wave of high-profile and sometimes deadly violence against Asian Americans since the pandemic began.

Earlier this month, the estate of Dr. Seuss said six of his books would no longer be published because they contained depictions of groups that were “hurtful and wrong,” including Asian Americans. The move drew immediate reaction on social media from those who called it another example of “cancel culture.”

China-Led WHO Investigation On Chinese Lab Expected To Say Exactly What China Wanted it To Say

A study conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and overseen by China reportedly concluded the coronavirus lab leak theory is “extremely unlikely,” despite the lack of transparency, shady conflicts of interest and the Biden administration’s concerns over China’s overt influence on the investigation.

The draft of the report is based on a visit by WHO experts to Wuhan, according to the Associated Press (AP). The AP obtained the draft copy from a Geneva-based diplomat from a WHO-member country. The report found that transmission from bats directly to humans was likely and the spread through “cold-chain” frozen food products was a possibility.

Despite conflicts of interest and the fact that China’s ministry of foreign affairs monitored the WHO experts, the report claimed to have “debunked” the likelihood the virus escaped from a Wuhan lab. The report said lab accidents as such are rare and Wuhan labs working on coronaviruses and vaccines are managed properly. The report also found there were no closely-related viruses to COVID-19 being examined in any laboratory before December 2019, according to the AP.

Former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Dr. Robert Redfield said in a recent interview he believes the virus escaped from a lab.

“I do not believe this somehow came from a bat to a human,” Redfield told CNN’s Sanjay Gupta. “Normally, when a pathogen goes from a zoo, not to human, it takes a while for it to figure out how to become more and more efficient in human to human transmission.”

Redfield said he believes the virus began spreading in Wuhan in September or October of 2019 because of a leak from a lab.

“Now, I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely etiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory, escaped,” he said.

However, the still-unreleased report offers no definitive answer as to where the virus originated.

China pressured the WHO against declaring the coronavirus a global health emergency, a senior U.S. intelligence official confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also delayed declaring the virus a global health emergency by one day.

China has frequently tried to suggest the virus originated from outside of China and was imported through frozen food, according to The New York Times (NYT). Chinese media published false stories that misrepresented the findings of foreign scientists and claimed the scientists said the virus did not come from China, according to the NYT.

China has also tried to point fingers at the U.S., alleging the U.S. military brought the virus to Wuhan, according to the report.

Whistleblowers who tried to warn the world about the outbreak during the early days were quickly silenced and punished.

2K Migrants Released in Texas on ‘Honor System,’ Says U.S. Rep. Cuellar

U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said thousands of migrants are being released into Texas on the “honor system” without court information or notices to appear.

Rep. Cuellar told Border Report on Sunday that more than 2,000 migrants had been released into South Texas without any court papers. The releases came as Border Patrol agents became overwhelmed by the massively growing numbers of migrant families and children crossing the border.

Breitbart Texas’ Randy Clark first confirmed the practice of releasing migrants without a court date or Notice to Appear on March 21. Since that time, Cuellar says more than 2,000 migrant families have been released into Texas.

On CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” Cuellar told Margaret Brennan, “Some will be returned, but over 2,000 of them have been released into the United States without a Notice to Appear. I emphasize, without a Notice to appear at a immigration court.” The Texas border congressman from Laredo called the move “unprecedented.”

“The family units are being released into the United States,” Cuellar continued. “That’s where the burden of the border communities are felt. The cities, the counties, the NGOs. We’re feeling the brunt of what’s happening with the family units.”

The Washington Post reported Border Patrol officials are now handing out “blank forms” and asking the migrant families to report, on their own effort, to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office.

Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Sarah Peck explained, “Our policy remains that families are expelled, and in situations where expulsion is not possible due to Mexico’s inability to receive the families, they are placed into removal proceedings,” the Post reported.

However, Breitbart’s Randy Clark, a 32-year-veteran of the U.S. Border Patrol who retired last year, contradicted that explanation. In a March 21 article he wrote:

Without a Notice to Appear, the migrants are free to travel about the country and are not officially placed into the immigration court system. The court cannot order the removal of a migrant in absentia for failing to appear for a future court date, the source explained. the existence of a removal in absentia order from the court allows immigration officials to remove the alien without appeal if they are later encountered. Under this new process, the migrants will not have a removal in absentia order for failure to appear officials issued no order to appear under the unprecedented plan put in place by the Biden administration on Sunday morning.

Oxford University May Scrap Sheet Music for Being Complicit in ‘White Supremacy’

The University of Oxford is considering proposals that would remove sheet music from its curriculum over woke claims that teaching the Western form of musical notation has roots in “colonialism” and “complicity in white supremacy”.

In response to widespread Black Lives Matter protesters and riots last year in the United Kingdom, music educators at Oxford University have joined the wider iconoclastic movement which has been sweeping through British academia.

The music department at the prestigious and ancient university has seen calls to remove music notation from the curriculum as professors seek to focus less on white European heritage and culture, according to documents seen by The Telegraph.

The woke educators went on to claim that musical notation itself is a “colonialist representational system” that has “complicity to white supremacy”. The claim is similar to leftist pronouncements in America that mathematics is inherently racist.

The Oxford academics went on to pronounce that teaching the piano or conducting orchestras could cause “students of colour great distress” as the skills involved are closely tied to “white European music”.

Professors at the university said that the classical music which is taught at Oxford, which includes Beethoven, Mozart, and Schubert, among others, is too focused on “white European music from the slave period”.

The assertion is somewhat dubious, as Western classical music, as well as the practice of sheet music notation, predates the Atlantic slave trade, stemming back to musical traditions from the medieval period such as Gregorian chanting.

Academic researchers claim gun rights advocates have anti-black racial biases

University of Illinois at Chicago academics say 'racially conservative Whites' view gun ownership as a sign of good citizenship

Researchers from the University of Illinois at Chicago have published a study that claims "racially biased conservative Whites" support the Second Amendment right to bear arms because they identify gun ownership with good citizenship and suggests mass shootings "may be a symptom of the country's enduring legacy of racism."

This analysis was published in the Washington Post by associate professor of political science Alexandra Filindra, Ph.D. student in political science Beyza Buyuker, and clinical assistant professor of political science Noah J. Kaplan of the University of Illinois at Chicago. They published their findings in the Post after two mass shootings occurred within one week of each other in Georgia and Colorado and amid a renewed national debate over gun control.

These researchers wanted to find out why "gun rights supporters are highly politically organized and unwavering on their views, while gun regulation supporters are not."

"Our research found a reason for this difference: racial differences in rates of gun ownership and beliefs about guns," the researchers wrote. "White Americans are far more likely than any other group to own firearms and oppose gun regulations. To them, guns are potent political symbols. For many people, especially White Americans, guns are integral to who they are as citizens and what it means to be a good citizen."

On the other hand, gun control advocates "tend to think about guns in terms of preventing violence and the harms that guns can inflict," the researchers state. Because "racially conservative Whites" — who are defined as scoring high on measures of anti-black prejudice — associate gun ownership with good citizenship, they "interpret attempts to restrict access to guns not as an effort to prevent gun violence but as an attack on their ability to express their patriotism."

The authors of the analysis cite several studies to support their assertion that white Americans who own guns feel "morally superior" to those who don't and hold racially biased views of black Americans:

Both historical research and our studies of contemporary gun ownership and gun control policy preferences suggest that many Whites share these beliefs. For a century, the National Rifle Association reinforced such beliefs, we find. By owning guns and supporting gun rights, racially conservative White Americans feel that they are showing their moral superiority as good, law-abiding citizens. At the same time, they implicitly express their contempt for African Americans who they believe have failed to uphold the values of American citizenship, such as self-sufficiency and independence from the state. These Whites see efforts to restrict gun ownership as threatening their social and moral status and trying to devalue their status as Americans.

The researchers collected their data in a 2015 nationally representative survey of 1,900 Americans conducted by YouGov. The survey found that 43 percent of whites but only 23 percent of black Americans view gun ownership as a sign of good citizenship. Men were more likely than women to agree with that attitude toward gun ownership, particularly men in gun-owning households.

The study also asked about implicit biases white gun owners may harbor about black people.

J&J, African Union in deal for up to 400 million COVID-19 shots

Johnson & Johnson will supply the African Union (AU) with up to 400 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine beginning in the third quarter, the drugmaker said on Monday, as the continent grapples with vaccinating 60% of its people.

The virus has killed almost 121,000 people across Africa and infected 4.18 million.

J&J unit Janssen Pharmaceutica NV has entered into a deal with the African Vaccine Acquisition Trust (AVAT) to deliver 220 million doses of its single-dose shot.

AVAT could order an additional 180 million doses through 2022.(refini.tv/3cyeFiB)

The deal follows months of negotiations with the AU, which announced a provisional agreement in January to buy 270 million doses of vaccines from J&J, AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech.

The status of the talks with the other two companies is not known.

J&J’s vaccine came to the market much later than those of AstraZeneca and Pfizer but has recently gained widespread acceptance globally, especially in Africa.

“J&J requires just a single dose, it makes it a very good programmatically to rollout,” said John Nkengasong, director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.

He said the price of the J&J’s dose is likely to be $10.

In February, South Africa put use of AstraZeneca’s shot on hold after data showed it gave minimal protection against mild-to-moderate infection caused by the country’s dominant variant.

Several countries in Europe have suspended using AstraZeneca’s vaccine as they investigate a small number of reports of rare blood clotting in people who got the vaccine. Global regulators have said the shot is safe and effective.

Pfizer’s shot has more complex storage and transportation needs than other vaccines, making it more challenging to deploy in warmer climates or in poorer countries.

AVAT said on Monday that many of the AU’s 55 member states had shown a strong preference for J&J.

Joint WHO-China Report Urges No Further Probe Into ‘Extremely Unlikely’ Lab Leak Theory. U.S. Officials Are Pushing Back.

A new “joint WHO-China study” into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, which originated in China, claims that the theory that the coronavirus escaped from a lab in Wuhan to be the least likely theory out of four possible theories — however, U.S. officials are casting doubt on the report.

The report claims that the most likely scenario was that humans contracted the coronavirus through an animal and that the lab leak theory was “extremely unlikely.” The report contends that the most likely theory is that a bat infected another animal which then infected a human.“The team proposed further research in every area except the lab leak hypothesis,” the Associated Press reports. “The report’s release has been repeatedly delayed, raising questions about whether the Chinese side was trying to skew the conclusions to prevent blame for the pandemic falling on China.”

However, top former and current U.S. officials are raising doubts about the credibility of the report, and some believe that the lab leak is the most likely theory.

Jamie Metzl, former NSC official in the Clinton administration and member of a WHO advisory committee on genetic engineering, told CBS’s “60 Minutes” that the WHO’s trip to China was “not” an investigation and that China essentially conducted all the investigations. Metzl pointed out potential issues with the theory that the pandemic had a natural origin, noting that there would have likely been “some kind of evidence of an outbreak” between southern China, where bats that carry very similar strains of the novel coronavirus are located, and Wuhan, where the pandemic was first detected. Metzl suggested that the pandemic could have come from the lab in Wuhan.Metzl joined more than two-dozen other signatories on a WHO letter earlier this month in demanding that the international community put in place a team to investigate the origins of the pandemic because the efforts so far “do not constitute a thorough, credible, and transparent investigation.”

Former CDC Director Robert Redfield, Redfield, a virologist, said in a recent CNN interview that he believes that the pandemic started in a lab in Wuhan and that it escaped. “I do not believe this somehow came from a bat to a human. And at that moment in time, the virus came to the human, became one of the most infectious viruses that we know in humanity for human to human transmission,” Redfield said. “Normally, when a pathogen goes from a zoonotic to human, it takes a while for it to figure out how to become more and more efficient.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during a CNN interview that aired on Sunday that the Biden administration has “real concerns about the methodology and the process that went into that report, including the fact that the government in Beijing apparently helped to write it.” Biden National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said last month that the Biden administration had “deep concerns about the way in which the early findings of the Covid-19 investigation were communicated and questions about the process used to reach them.”

David Asher, the State Department’s former lead investigator who oversaw the Task Force into the COVID-19 virus origin, told Fox News earlier this month that he not only believes that the coronavirus escaped the Wuhan Institute of Virology, BSL-4 lab, but he believes that the Chinese military was conducting bioweapons research at the lab.

Fox News’s report noted that Asher has worked for Republican and Democrat administrations on “some of the most classified intelligence investigations for the State Department and Treasury.”

IMF is requesting 650 Billion USD SDR [mostly will come from USA]

“I am very encouraged by initial discussions on a possible SDR allocation of US$650 billion. By addressing the long-term global need for reserve assets, a new SDR allocation would benefit all our member countries and support the global recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. It would also be a powerful signal of the IMF membership’s determination to do everything possible to overcome the worst recession since the Great Depression.

“To this end, Executive Directors conveyed broad support among Fund members for IMF staff to formulate a proposal for a new SDR allocation equivalent to US$650 billion to provide additional liquidity to the global economic system by supplementing the reserve assets of the Fund’s 190 member countries.

TWO grand juries have convened in Georgia to investigate if Trump tried to manipulate the election

Two grand juries have been convened in Georgia to investigate if Donald Trump tried to manipulate the general election.

Jurors in the secret proceedings are to be asked to subpoena documents and recordings for the investigation 'in the very near future,' Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis told The Daily Beast.

Three cases have been referred to Fani Willis' office by the Secretary of State - including to probe the infamous phone call in which Trump told the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to 'find' 11,780 votes.

She has assembled a crack team of investigators that includes a former deputy sheriff with nearly 30 years experience and a lawyer who wrote a national guide to prosecuting RICO charges against the mafia.

The DA, who was elected in January, is well aware that she is up against the highest-profile potential defendant in Trump - whose team of lawyers will attack any indictment down to the letter.

'My philosophy is just: We're going to call balls and strikes. And it is what it is,' Willis told The Daily Beast. 'We're just going to use the law and the facts. I'm not going to worry about the politics of that. And I do understand what I'm saying. If that means I'm only the DA for one term… that'll be what God has me do for these four years.'

The prosecutor, who was elected in January, has overhauled the county's 'public integrity unit' - which traditionally looks into police misconduct - with a new anti-corruption team.

She retained only one member of the former team, investigator Raymond Baez, who interviewed to keep his job.

Baez convinced Willis he had grown furious at corrupt police while growing up in Puerto Rico.

Former police officer Sonya Allen is serving as Willis' right-hand woman.

Allen worked at Cobb County Sheriff's Office for nearly three decades, working on the narcotics and fugitives units.

Willis decided she was right for the job over her investigation of how a man who had been on trial for rape, Brian Nichols, escaped custody and killed the judge presiding over his case.

She's also hiring a lawyer who made his career by defending public officials accused of crimes, Brian Watkins, who is named as the deputy of anti-corruption.

'We researched him greatly. He didn't have any blemishes,' Willis said.

She also tapped a young lawyer from the complex trial division on the shoulder, Sau Chun Chan, who only qualified to practice law in Georgia two years ago.

'I'm having to broaden the unit… it never looked at election fraud before now,' Willis said.

She's also brought in John E. Floyd, an expert on state RICO charges, who wrote a national guide on prosecuting state racketeering cases.

He will consult the team on how they might wish to prove a pattern of corruption - in the same way that mafia bosses are connected to the dealings of their goons.

In letters sent to state officials last month asking them to preserve evidence for her investigation into potential attempts to influence last year's election, Willis mentioned racketeering as one of the possible violations of Georgia law that she was examining.

Floyd previously helped Willis when she used the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO, law to prosecute nearly three dozen Atlanta public school educators accused in a cheating scandal.

Army Specialist Dies During 'Swamp Phase' of Ranger School

A 28-year-old soldier died Thursday while participating in the "Swamp Phase" of the Army's grueling Ranger school, officials announced Friday afternoon.

Spc. James A. Requenez, of San Antonio, Texas, died during an unspecified training incident at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, officials with Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade, out of Fort Benning, Georgia, said.

Requenez was transported to Eglin AFB hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the release, which added the incident was under investigation.

Task and Purpose was first to report Requenez' death.

A Benning spokesman told Military.com he could not immediately provide details on when the incident took place, when Requenez was pronounced dead or what kind of training was taking place at the time.

"The Maneuver Center of Excellence, Fort Benning, and the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade offers our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Spc. James A. Requenez," officials said in a statement.

Requenez was assigned to Benning's A Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, where he served as an assistant machine gunner. He enlisted in April 2018, and his awards include the Army Achievement Medal and Parachutist Badge.

The Swamp Phase is the third and final phase of the 62-day Ranger school and takes place at Camp Rudder on Eglin Air Force Base. It focuses on coastal operations, including small boat maneuvers and stream crossings, and tests how students perform under "conditions of extreme mental and physical stress."

"This training further develops the students' ability to plan and lead small units during independent and coordinated airborne, air assault, small boat and dismounted patrol operations in a combat environment against a determined and well-equipped hybrid threat-based opposing force," information released by Fort Benning states.

Deaths at Ranger school are relatively rare. But in 1995, four officers died from hypothermia during Swamp Phase – an incident that resulted in discipline for nine instructors and the firing of the 6th Ranger Training Battalion commander.

COVID-19 vaccines prevent 90 percent of all infections, CDC study says

The two mRNA coronavirus vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech prevent 90 percent of infections, according to a new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The results show strong evidence that the vaccines work against preventing all infections, including asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic infections.

According to the CDC, both vaccines prevented 90 percent of infections two weeks after receiving the second of two doses.

Following a single dose of either vaccine, the participants’ risk of infection with SARS-CoV-2 was reduced by 80 percent two or more weeks after vaccination.

The study looked at 3,950 health care personnel, first responders and other essential workers and required them to self-collect nasal swabs each week for PCR lab testing for 13 straight weeks, regardless of whether they had developed symptoms of illness.

The CDC said it chose those groups because they are more likely than the general population to be exposed to the virus because of their occupations.

Self-swabbing once a week allowed researchers to look for evidence of coronavirus infection irrespective of symptoms. According to the CDC, only 10.7 percent of infections in the study were asymptomatic.

However, the majority of infections occurred among people whose infections were identified by testing before they developed symptoms or knew they were infected, which is when they are most at risk of spreading the virus.

The CDC's findings are consistent with Pfizer's own study of Israeli data, which also found the vaccine to be highly effective against asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infections

The findings are also consistent with the companies' respective phase 3 clinical trials conducted before the vaccines received emergency use authorizations from the Food and Drug Administration.

However, those clinical trials showed strong efficacy against COVID-19 — meaning people did not become seriously ill, but it wasn't clear if the vaccines actually stopped a person from getting infected.

This study evaluated vaccine effectiveness against infection, including infections that did not result in symptoms.

Preventing both asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic infections among health care workers and other essential workers through vaccination can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to those they care for or serve.

“This study shows that our national vaccination efforts are working. The authorized mRNA COVID-19 vaccines provided early, substantial real-world protection against infection for our nation’s health care personnel, first responders, and other frontline essential workers,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said in a statement.

White House Press Secretary Blames Pandemic for BANNING Reports from Border Facilities

It’s got to the point where we’re just circling back on everything in America now days, hasn’t it?

Now White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is blaming the global pandemic on the White House and Biden Administration banning reporters from jam-packed border facilities. No I’m serious, that’s actually what she said.

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday” with liberal loving Chris Wallace, Psaki said this asinine statement.

During one part of the riveting interview (sarcasm) Wallace played a clip of President Biden saying the media would have “full access” to the detention facilities along the border, and then noted that hasn’t happened.

“The only way we know how bad conditions are for some 5,000 minors in these Border Patrol facilities is because of … pictures that members Congress have released on their own,” he said.

“Jen, these kids are living in these conditions now. They’re not living in these conditions some indeterminate time from now when the president says everything will be fixed. So why not allow reporters and camera crews in — even on a pool basis — safely to take pictures and show the American people what’s happening in these Border Patrol facilities right now?”

Psaki responded that Biden was “committed” to doing exactly that, to which prompted Wallace to ask, “But when?”

“Just last week we had a pool camera providing footage to Fox News into the shelters. We want to provide access into the Border Patrol facilities. We’re mindful of the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic,” Psaki said.

“We want to keep these kids safe, keep the staff safe. But we’re absolutely committed to transparency and providing access to media to the Border Patrol facilities, and we’re working to get that done as soon as we can.”

Wallace responded with “At this point, in terms of allowing access to Border Patrol facilities for reporters, you are being less transparent than the Trump administration.”

Psaki then became irate, and responded with this.

“Well, first of all, Chris, the Trump administration was turning away kids at the border, sending them back on the treacherous journey, or they were ripping kids from the arms of their parents. We’re not doing that. We are committed to allowing cameras into the Border Patrol facilities, absolutely,” she said.

This too was a lie. The Trump administration didn’t turn them away — rather, it flew them back home, thus dis-incentivizing more children from making the extremely dangerous trek to the border. Biden’s allegedly “compassionate” strategy of instead embracing every child has done the exact opposite.

As of Friday, an estimated 18,000 (and counting) illegal alien children were in U.S. custody, with more crossing the border by the day, by the hour and likely even by the minute. And despite Psaki’s claim otherwise, children were still being separated from their parents.

White House predicts surge of children at border will last six months: report

Number of children could rise to 26,000 a month in September

The Biden administration is predicting that the flood of unaccompanied children at the U.S.-Mexico border will continue for the next six months and break all records.

The White House said the number of children could rise to 26,000 a month in September, far more than the 16,000 who illegally crossed into the U.S. so far this month, Axios reported, citing leaked documents.

"Until this month, the record was 11,475 in May 2019. The minimum projections for each of the next six months are thousands higher than that," wrote the liberal-leaning political website.

"To give a sense of how out of hand the crossings are getting, the administration projected just a month ago the figure for May would be 13,000. The new estimate is 22,000 to 25,000," said the site. "The Customs and Border Protection range for September is 22,000 to 26,000. Under any scenario, projections include a peak month that would double the record that stood until this month."

President Biden dismissed the surge during his press conference last week, saying, "Nothing has changed" at the border. "It happens every single, solitary year: There is a significant increase in the number of people coming to the border in the winter months of January, February, March. That happens every year."

Axios said federal agencies are busy playing catch up, making preparations for the record-shattering influx.

The Health and Human Services Department said it needs and extra 6,000 shelter beds immediately to accommodate the unaccompanied youths now in custody. The department also said it is planning to add space for more than 5,000 children at various nearby military bases.

Last week, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador blamed Biden for the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, saying his public statements prompted Central Americans to try to get into the United States.

"Expectations were created that with the government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants," Lopez Obrador said Wednesday at a press conference. "And this has caused Central American migrants, and also (people) from our country, wanting to cross the border, thinking that it is easier to do so."

Biden used an executive order in his first days in office to end former President Trump's Migrant Protection Protocols, which kept foreigners who tried to enter the U.S. illegally in camps in Mexico while they awaited hearings. Instead, Biden returned to a "catch-and-release" policy in which illegal aliens are allowed to enter the U.S. until their trial.

Meanwhile, the Government Accountability Office is investigating Biden's order to halt funding for the border wall, probing whether the move is illegal because it freezes funds controlled by Congress.

"The Biden administration has to be really careful about doing stuff like this because, otherwise, they’re just going to be doing the exact thing the Trump administration did – just at the other end of the policy spectrum," Dylan Hedtler-Gaudette of the watchdog group Project on Government Oversight, told The Hill newspaper about the purported GAO probe.

On his first day in office, Biden froze billions of dollars that had been appropriated by Congress for President Trump to build and repair the southern border barrier.

Liberal Dark Money Network Is Behind ‘Grassroots’ Support for Dem Climate Bill

The left’s biggest dark money network is behind a "grassroots" organization pushing Democrats’ $500 billion plan to fight "environmental racism."

Rewiring America, one of many environmental groups that has endorsed the BUILD GREEN Act, is part of a massive dark money network run by the D.C.-based Arabella Advisors. The nation’s wealthiest liberal donors use Arabella’s $731 million activist network to secretly fund a host of liberal causes.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y) cited Rewiring America’s support in a press release announcing the legislation. The bill’s cosponsors blame "corporate" interests for damaging the climate.

Rewiring America is powered by the Windward Fund, an Arabella subsidiary whose stated mission is to promote "community-based, grassroots grant making." The Windward Fund and Rewiring America are not required to disclose their budgets, spending, or finances.

The legislation includes a call for the country to shift entirely to renewable energy and to replace all vehicles with electric cars. Rewiring America’s executive director Adam Zurofsky praised the legislation for "decarbonizing our economy and meeting the climate challenge."

But many of the bill’s provisions are not related to the climate or the environment. The legislation would redistribute wealth to low-income and minority communities, as well as communities "facing environmental injustice." It would also institute "strong labor provisions" for union workers and establish a $15-per-hour minimum wage.

Liberals frequently use "environmental racism" to justify a host of radical policies. The bill’s sponsors claim that "environmental racism" justifies everything from reparations payments to single-payer health care. The left-wing Sunrise Movement, which endorsed the legislation, supports abolishing "police and prisons" in order to achieve "climate justice."

President Joe Biden invoked "environmental justice" on the campaign trail, pledging to have the Justice Department prosecute fossil fuel companies "to the fullest extent permitted by law."

The legislation has also been endorsed by left-wing groups like 350.org, Greenpeace, and Zero Hour, which claims the world has less than nine years left until it’s made uninhabitable by global warming.

While it remains unclear how much these dark money groups have spent lobbying for the legislation, in January the Windward Fund hired AJW Inc., which lobbies for environmental groups including the Clean Air Task Force and the Environmental Defense Action Fund.

The legislation is Democrats’ latest attempt to usher in radical policies using climate legislation. Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal includes provisions to provide free health care and jobs to every American. In February 2021, Democrats introduced legislation that would declare a climate change emergency and give the federal government power to combat "environmental injustice" by promoting labor union membership.

Three Supply Convoys Of U.S.-Led Coalition Blown Up By IEDs

On March 39th, improvised explosive device (IED) targeted three logistical convoys of the US-led international coalition.

The first attack took place in the Iraqi Al Diwaniyah province in central Iraq.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. No casualties were reported.

According to pro-Iranian sources, similar attacks were reported in the provinces of Dhi-Qar and Babil.

The Sabereen news agency shared the video from Babil governorate:

The convoys of the U.S.-led coalition are suffering IED attacks on a regular basis. Recently, the number of such attacks have significantly increased.

On March 25, five convoys carrying supplies and equipment for the US-led coalition came under attack in different parts of Iraq. On March 18, an IED attack destroyed a vehicle of the US-led coalition supply convoy in the Diwaniyah area of Qadisiyyah Governorate.

The on-going attacks are carried out by pro-Iranian groups who aim to to force US forces out of Iraq. They have significantly increased their activity in response to the assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy-Commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, and Iran’s Quds Force Commander Qassim Soleimani.

Taking into account the growing risks, the forces of the US-led coalition do not take part in logistics in Iraq, the transportation of supplies is local contractors.

U.S. SOCOM Forms Task Force To Counter China’s “Information Operations” In Indo-Pacific

United States Special Operations Command formed a task force in the Pacific region to counter China’s information operations.

This also involves “likeminded allies”.

The Joint Task Force Indo-Pacific team will be focused on information and influence operations in the Pacific theater, as this part of the world requires more attention from US and Co. since China’s capabilities appear to be growing exponentially.

Gen. Richard Clarke, commander of Special Operations Command, said before the Armed Services Committee that the plan is to involve more allies.

“We actually are able to tamp down some of the disinformation that they [China] continuously sow,” he said of the task force’s efforts.

“Adversary use of disinformation, misinformation and propaganda poses one of today’s greatest challenges to the United States, not just to the Department of Defense,” Christopher Maier, acting assistant secretary of defense for Special Operations/Low-intensity Conflict, said earlier this month at a House Armed Services Subcommittee hearing.

Currently, Russia, China and non-state actors real-time get access to a global audience due to the state of the world’s information environment.

“With first-mover advantage and by flooding the information environment with deliberated and manipulated information that is mostly truthful with carefully crafted deceptive elements, these actors can gain leverage to threaten our interest,” Maier explained.

In general, Maier explained that the Pentagon organizes its efforts to combat disinformation, misinformation and propaganda in four directions:

countering propaganda by adversaries;

force protection;

countering disinformation and strategic deception abroad by adversaries;

deterring and disrupting adversarial influence capabilities.

This is further supported by Cyber Command’s “defend forward” directive – to get as close as possible to adversaries in networks outside the United States.

Basically, offensive cyber-attacks, hidden behind the veil of being “defensive”.

Gen. Paul Nakasone, Cyber Command’s head, explained to senators that the command conducted over a dozen operations to head off foreign influence threats prior to the 2020 elections.

“The idea of operating outside of the United States, being able to both enable our partners with information and act when authorized. This is an active approach to our adversaries,” he said. “It’s been most effective as we’ve seen with the 2018 and 2020 elections with adversaries attempting to influence us, attempting to interfere but not being able to do that.”

The forward defense concept isn’t just applicable to cyberspace. Clarke described Special Operations Forces, specifically Military Information Support Operations professionals, that are deployed forward and work closely with embassies around the world.

“By working closely with those partners to ensure that our adversaries, our competitors are not getting that free pass and to recognize what is truth from fiction and continue to highlight that to using our intel communities is critical,” he said.

1st Special Forces Command built an Information Warfare Center specifically designed to develop “influence artillery rounds”.

COVID-19: Greed Drove Big Pharma Companies to Privatize Vaccines

On the anniversary of the United Kingdom’s first lockdown of the coronavirus pandemic, as candles were lit in doorways and the country mourned 125,000 deaths, the prime minister was in the mood for gloating.

“The reason we have the vaccine success is because of capitalism, because of greed my friends,” Boris Johnson reportedly told Conservative MPs, before pleading “forget I said that.”

The timing of the comments was distasteful in the extreme as countries across the world are struggling to find any vaccines, while Britain has acquired several times the doses it needs by bypassing the international bodies meant to ensure a fair global allocation. But more worrying was the warped understanding revealed by the remark of what is actually behind Britain’s successful vaccine rollout.

Johnson claimed the vaccine breakthrough was brought about by “giant corporations that wanted to give good returns to shareholders.” But nothing could be further from the truth. The British government, like other governments, invested heavy public funds into the research and development of vaccines, assuming most of the risk in the process.

The AstraZeneca jab was actually developed by scientists from the University of Oxford, a publicly-funded institution, working with scientists from a range of backgrounds, including many educated in state schools. Those scientists had initially wanted to make their vaccine patent-free, before AstraZeneca entered the scene, effectively privatizing the research.

The vaccines have been brought to market thanks to tens of thousands of trial volunteers who risked their health by putting themselves forward, not out of greed, but out of a desire to end this pandemic and help their families and communities. And the rollout is being managed by the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), a world-class public healthcare system that, despite market-driven reforms in recent years, exists entirely outside the logic of the market.

Terrorism Charges Dismissed by Judge Against Three Men Accused of Plotting to Kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer

Jackson County District Judge Michael Klaeren (Michigan 12th District) has removed charges of terrorism against three men accused in a plot to kidnap governor Gretchen Whitmer. According to the Detroit News, judge Klaeren said: ” “There has to be some form of intent here to incite mayhem”, and no evidence in that regard has been presented. The terrorism charges fail for lack of evidence.

MICHIGAN – […] The charges were dismissed against Paul Bellar of Milford and Joseph Morrison and Pete Musico of Munith. They are among seven men accused of having ties to the militia group Wolverine Watchmen who are charged in the alleged plot. The others include Shawn Fix of Belleville, Eric Molitor of Cadillac, Michael Null of Plainwell and William Null of Shelbyville. The men had faced a total of 19 felony charges for firearms and terror-related acts.

After onboarding new members through mediums such as Facebook, the group’s conversations took place in encrypted chats. The limited nature of those chats is why the threat charge was dismissed, Klaeren said.

[…] The three will stand trial on the three remaining charges, Klaeren said. Each are charged with gang membership and providing material support for terrorism, both punishable by up to 20 years in prison, as well as felony firearm, punishable by up to two years in prison.

The gang membership charge and the felony firearms charge were dependent on the material support for terrorism charge, Klaeren said. (read more)

Biden Administration Responds to Reports on Development of Vaccine Passports

President Joe Biden’s administration is not creating COVID-19 vaccine passports but officials are working with private companies to set guidelines for the systems, which people can use to show proof they’ve been vaccinated, the White House said Monday.

The administration will “provide guidance” on the effort to develop vaccine passports and similar systems, White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington.

“There is currently an interagency process that is looking at many of the questions around vaccine verification, and that issue will touch many agencies, as verification is an issue that will potentially touch many areas of society. That’s guidance we’ll provide. A determination or development of vaccine passport or whatever you want to call it will be driven by the private sector. Ours will more be focused on guidelines that can be used as a basis and there are a couple of key principles that we are working from,” she added.

The key principles are that there will be no centralized, universal database tracking COVID-19 vaccinations, there will be no federal mandate requiring all Americans to obtain a single vaccine passport, there will be encouragement of an open marketplace with both companies and nonprofits developing technology, and there will be an effort by the government to ensure all passports meet key standards, such as “accessibility” and “affordability,” Psaki said.

“This is something we are working through. We want to provide clarity to the public,” she added.

Several reports had indicated over the weekend that the administration was leading the effort to create passports by setting standards for the systems.

New York state became the first state in the nation to roll out a vaccine passport last week. The technology, developed with IBM, will be used at entrances to stadiums, arenas, and businesses to prove the holder has received a COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 is the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

Epoch Times Photo

“As more New Yorkers get vaccinated each day and as key public health metrics continue to regularly reach their lowest rates in months, the first-in-the-nation Excelsior Pass heralds the next step in our thoughtful, science-based reopening,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, said in a statement.

Other companies and groups are developing similar technology, with an eye on requiring vaccinations to fly on planes, attend concerts, and for other venues where crowds of people gather.

Some have expressed concern about the passes.

“I think vaccine passports are a disproportionately technologically heavy solution, and they’re likely to be a waste of resources.

Czech Republic’s richest man, Petr Kellner, killed in Alaska helicopter crash

The Czech Republic’s richest man, billionaire investor Petr Kellner, was one of five people killed in a helicopter crash in Alaska, officials have confirmed.

The 56-year-old founder of investment group PPF was among four passengers on a heli-ski tour who died alongside their pilot Saturday near Knik Glacier northeast of Anchorage, Alaska State Troopers said.

“An unbelievable tragedy,” said Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, who offered “sincere condolences” to Kellner’s wife, Renata, and his four children.

“I’m terribly sorry about it,” Babis said.

Kellner, who had been married twice, avoided public attention but was known to be a keen skier. A picture of him snowboarding was published in one PPF annual report.

Kellner made his start selling copy machines following the 1989 Velvet Revolution — and by his death was worth $17.4 billion, according to Forbes.

He owned a 98.93% stake in the PPF Group, which expressed “deepest grief” at the death of its founder.

He was also a former co-owner of Czech soccer club Slavia Prague, which shared “great sadness” and offered “its deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Kellner.”

Kellner had also financed a thinktank set up by former President Vaclav Klaus, architect of the 1990s privatization that allowed Kellner’s business rise.

“His life story was an example of harnessed opportunity offered to young people by the economic transformation,” Klaus said. “He unfolded his initial success from privatization to an extent reaching far beyond our country’s borders.”

Kellner died alongside another Czech Republic tourist, Benjamin Larochaix, 50, authorities.

They died alongside two guides — Gregory Harms, 52, of Colorado, and Sean McMannany, 38, of Girdwood, Alaska — as well as their 33-year-old local pilot, Zachary Russel, authorities said.

A third, unidentified guest was also injured in the crash, which is still being investigated.

Supreme Court Takes up Kentucky Abortion Case, Its First Since 6-3 Conservative Majority Arrives

The Supreme Court decided this morning to take up an abortion case from Kentucky, its first since Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s addition to the court gave its conservative wing a 6-3 majority.

The case is Cameron v. EMW Women’s Surgical Center, court file 20-601. EMW Women’s Surgical Center, in Louisville, is Kentucky’s only licensed abortion clinic.

The case revolves around Kentucky’s 2018 ban on “abortions in which an unborn child is dismembered while still alive,” Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, a Republican, said in his petition to the Supreme Court.

Then-Gov. Matt Bevin, a Republican, signed the law, which was subsequently enjoined by federal courts. After the succeeding administration of Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, refused to defend the statute in court, Cameron indicated he wanted to do so.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit turned down Cameron’s request, at which point he asked the Supreme Court to allow him to intervene in the case.

The Supreme Court’s unsigned March 29 order states that its review will be “limited to Question 1 presented by the petition.”

That question states: “Whether a state attorney general vested with the power to defend state law should be permitted to intervene after a federal court of appeals invalidates a state statute when no other state actor will defend the law.”

Cameron asked the court to consider the constitutionality of the law after a 5-4 court including the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg struck down Louisiana’s Act 620 in June Medical Services LLC v. Russo on June 29, 2020. That statute required abortionists to have hospital admitting privileges close to where the procedure takes place.

Chief Justice John Roberts gave pro-life activists a glimmer of hope when he authored a concurring opinion in the ruling indicating that courts could allow abortion restrictions that had no medical justification if they weren’t overly burdensome to patients.

But the Supreme Court decided only to consider the procedural question of whether Cameron could intervene in the case on behalf of Kentucky.

Oral arguments in the case are expected later this year.

Kristi Noem Vetoes Bill That Protects Women’s Sports, Insists It’s ‘Not A Veto’

"Therefore, my only option consistent with the constitution is the fail [sic] to certify the bill and return it you."

Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota followed through on her promise to block a bill that would have prevented biological males from competing in sports intended for females on Monday, insisting that her action is “not a veto” even though it functions identically to a veto.

“I have received your message that the House of Representatives failed to approve my recommendations as to changes of style and form of House Bill 1217,” Noem said in a letter to the South Dakota House of Representatives.

Noem cited a provision in the state’s Constitution that allows bills with “errors in style or form” to be returned to the State legislature, in a process that functions identically to a veto.

“Given the House action, I cannot certify that the bill conforms with my specific recommendations,” Noem wrote. “Therefore, my only option consistent with the constitution is the fail [sic] to certify the bill and return it you.”

“Pursuant to the constitutional provision above, returning the bill is not a veto,” Noem insisted. “Rather, the constitution provides that the legislature’s failure to accept my recommendations requires that the bill be treated as if it was vetoed.”

The South Dakota House and Senate are expected to begin proceedings for a veto override vote in the next few days.

Noem has come under fire from Fox News host Tucker Carlson for her awkward handling of HB 1217 and her refusal to concede that she is effectively vetoing the legislation.

“She got bullied by business interests and she caved at a time when we need leaders who are courageous, and she’s not,” Carlson said of Noem following a heated debate between the two on air.

Despite Noem’s opposition to effort to prevent biological men from competing in women’s sports, the movement to protect women’s sports remains immensely popular among the general public.

Lonestar Bias: Texas Election Officials Received $36 Million to Turn State Blue

A new report documents that private foundations spent more than $36 million to pay local election offices in Texas to alter policies and practices in the 2020 election. The money was overwhelmingly spent in solid Democratic strongholds and designed to maximize turnout in these Biden-leaning jurisdictions. The money was concentrated in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley, according to a new report.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, with which I am associated, reviewed the grant letters and other government documents executed between Texas county election officials and the Center for Technology for Civic Life, a nonprofit that poured over $350 million nationwide into government election offices in order to have those offices adopt policies the nonprofit supported.

The nonprofit was funded by Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg after a dinner meeting where controversial Biden Justice Department nominee Vanita Gupta advocated for the strategy in 2019.

Other organizations donated another $100 million nationwide to local election offices in addition to the Zuckerberg-related nonprofit, raising the total to influence government election policy to almost half a billion dollars. PJ Media was the first to report the details of this plan last April.

Documents from Texas county election officials obtained for the Public Interest Legal Foundation report show that the private dollars were focused on adopting procedures not always consistent with Texas law and practices, such as drive-through voting and voting by mail for any reason, contrary to Texas law.

In other words, the private dollars were used in a way to pressure officials to alter existing Texas election procedures adopted by the Texas legislature.

Texas Rep. Phil King has introduced HB 2283 to solve the problem and prohibit private dollars from flowing into government election offices. The bill has sat in committee since March 15.

The private dollars appear to have made a difference. Tarrant County received $1.6 million in Zuckerberg cash. Biden’s performance improved 43% in raw votes over Hillary Clinton’s compared to Trump’s increase of 18% in raw votes. The same dynamic played out in urban areas across Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Democratic urban cores opened the floodgates to Biden votes – all through the creation of structural bias.

Austin area counties also received Zuckerberg dollars, and raw Democrat vote totals there jumped 70 and 80 percent over 2016 in counties like Hays and Williamson, according to the PILF report.

So how does this happen? The Zuckerberg dollars turned urban offices into massive turnout machines. As I wrote:

What these grants did was build structural bias into the 2020 election where structural bias matters most – in densely populated urban cores. It converted election offices in key jurisdictions with deep reservoirs of Biden votes into Formula One turnout machines. The hundreds of millions of dollars built systems, hired employees from activist groups, bought equipment and radio advertisements. It did everything that street activists could ever dream up to turn out Biden votes if only they had unlimited funding.

It is true that red counties in Texas also received grants, but those were fig leaf grants designed to insulate the Center For Technology and Civic life from accusations of bias. More importantly, those grants were smaller, sometimes only $5,000, and barely enough to make any dent in behaviors, unlike the large blue-county grants in Texas.

If the Texas election were confined only to those counties that received Zuckerberg dollars, the report notes, Biden would have won Texas by 270,000 votes. That’s the point. The private dollars created efficiencies and capacities. When a given county is majority blue to begin with, such as Harris or Travis, and you create efficiencies and capacities in the election process in those counties, you are manufacturing votes for Democrats that did not exist before the efficiencies and capacities were put in place with Zuckerberg dollars.

Some might wonder why Zuckerberg money was wasted on Texas, a state Trump was sure to win.

Two answers. First, Texas was not always a certain Texas win. The October spin in the Democrat-friendly media was that Texas was in play. Second, and more importantly, the play in Texas wasn’t about 2020. It was about flipping Texas blue in the future. And if and when that happens, it will be done by building out efficiencies and capacities in the counties in 2020 that were part of the trial run.

Now you understand why banning private money that builds in bias in Texas is so important.

Florida’s Ron DeSantis Announces Executive ‘Action’ Against Biden Vaccine Passports

"I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do."

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced Monday that he would be taking executive action against the “vaccine passports” being developed by the Biden regime and private corporations to deny Americans the right to commerce if they cannot provide proof of receiving a COVID vaccination shot on the spot.

“You want the fox to guard the hen house? I mean, give me a break,” DeSantis said. “I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do.”

DeSantis said that while it’s “important” for vulnerable populations to be able to take the vaccine, “we are not going to have you provide proof of this just to be able to live your life normally, and I’m going to be taking some action, in an executive function, emergency function right here very shortly.”

As National File reported Sunday, “vaccine passports” are being pushed by the Biden regime in cooperation with private companies:

According to The Washington Post, the Biden regime “and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as ‘vaccine passports’ — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen.”

They note that many businesses, “from cruise lines to sports teams,” will require individuals to take the COVID-19 vaccine before they are offered business. The Biden regime, apparently, views this as a positive development.

“The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones,” the Post reported. “Which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass. Americans without smartphone access should be able to print out the passports, developers have said.”

According to those developing the vaccine passports, they must be entirely unique, and not able to be hacked or tampered with, lest Americans engage in commerce without taking one of the controversial vaccines.

Jen Psaki: Don’t Expect Kamala Harris to Travel to the US-Mexico Border

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday said we shouldn’t expect Kamala Harris to travel to the southern border.

Last Wednesday Joe Biden tapped his frequent handler and cohort Kamala Harris to head up his border crisis response team.

On Friday Kamala’s spokesperson told reporters Kamala “is not doing the border.”

A reported 15,000 unaccompanied child migrants are in U.S. custody, including 5,000 being kept in overcrowded Border Patrol stations not meant for children.

Photos were recently leaked to Axios of children stuffed into crowded cages in squalid conditions at a US Customs and Border Protection overflow facility.

The photos show hundreds of children huddling on the floor of eight ‘pods’ – each of which are supposed to hold 260 people. One pod reportedly has over 400 unaccompanied male minors crammed together, according to Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), who provided the photos to Axios to raise awareness about the situation.

We don’t have a functioning president and we have no real leadership.

MP exchanged lewd messages with sex worker during NSW question time

NSW Nationals MP Michael Johnsen offered a sex worker $1,000 to attend state parliament for sex and sent the woman a string of lewd text messages and an obscene video while parliament was sitting, an ABC investigation can reveal.

Mr Johnsen has strenuously denied allegations made in NSW Parliament this week that he sexually assaulted the woman at a lookout in the Blue Mountains in September, 2019.

The NSW Police Sex Crimes Squad is investigating the alleged sexual assault and are yet to decide whether to lay charges.

WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE AND SEXUAL CONTENT

On Wednesday, Labor MP Trish Doyle used parliamentary privilege to detail the rape allegations.

She did not name Mr Johnsen, saying only it was a member of the Coalition Government.

Hours later, Mr Johnsen identified himself as the accused man.

In a statement, Mr Johnsen said, without admission, he would step aside from his parliamentary secretary role and would not sit in the Nationals party room nor the joint room party room while the police investigation was underway.

Now the ABC can reveal the same woman has alleged Mr Johnsen "sexted" her during parliamentary question time and sent her a video of himself performing a lewd act.

In an exclusive interview, the woman told the ABC she met Mr Johnsen after responding to his online advertisement for sexual services in August, 2019.

The ABC has seen hundreds of online messages and text messages sent from Mr Johnsen's phone to the woman between August and September, 2019.

The ABC has verified that the mobile phone number belongs to him and has been listed as his contact number in parliamentary press releases over the years.
