Yep. I remember stripping down to underwear and putting our clothes out on the blacktop to dry so Mom wouldn't find out we'd been playing in the river. I fucked up about 20 years ago and accidentally revealed to Mom that we had boat when we were 8 (1970's) and went out on the river almost every day. We had found the boat free (skiff) after a hurricane. had it hid it the woods for years. I don't know how my mom survived me…..God Bless You for reminding me. Always remember !
