The trail of trucks full of supplies is almost constant at the Expo Hall known more for cows than kids. At the Bexar County Community Arenas complex, which is the home of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, the parking lot is jammed, as hundreds of people are involved in the effort to turn exhibit space into living and play space for children who are trying to find their way back to their families.

The Mexican woman was given strict instruction to say a friend paid for their tickets.

Berlin Halts AstraZeneca Jab As Germany Weighs Limiting It To Older Patients

The spread of SARS-CoV-2 and the confirmed "mutant" strains has accelerated (though daily numbers remain well below their record highs reached in late January) over the past month, and just after the European Union finally reached a deal with the UK to try and ensure vaccine "reciprocity" (at least for developed, wealthy, western countries). But more than a week after troubled vaccine-maker AstraZeneca released a revised analysis of its Phase 3 research following a squabble with an obscure US regulator, German Capital Berlin has just announced that it's banning jabs going to patients over the age of 60.

The reason? New research from a team of German scientists suggesting that there is indeed a link between the AstraZeneca jabs and the dangerous blood clots that have killed a small handful of patients in Europe. To arrive at this conclusion, the team examined 9 cases of the rare blood clots isolated in Austria and Germany. The 9 patients (8 female; median age, 36 [range, 22—49) presented with thrombosis beginning 4 to 16 days post-vaccination: 7 patients had cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT), 1 had pulmonary embolism, and 1 had splanchnic vein thrombosis and CVT. Ultimately, 4 patients died.

Researchers concluded that "the AZD1222 vaccine is "associated with development of a prothrombotic disorder". Dilek Kalayci, the city’s top health official, said that both Germany’s independent STIKO vaccine commission, which is supported by the RKI public-health institute, and the Federal Institute for Vaccines will make new recommendations on how to proceed. Those could be published as soon as Tuesday.

What's more, regional German health ministers will also discuss the Astra vaccine with federal government officials during a special meeting later on Tuesday. RKI spokeswoman Susanne Glasmacher confirmed that the vaccine commission is parsing the latest research about the vaccine's health risks. Meanwhile, Germany’s vaccine authority STIKO recommended use of AstraZeneca vaccine only for men and women older than 60. Initially, when German regulators first approved the AstraZeneca jab, they limited it to those under 65.

“We have to wait for the recommendations but we wanted to take this step as a precaution,” Kalayci said at a news conference, adding that pending appointments will be canceled. “This vaccine does prevent severe symptoms, and that is very valuable, but we have to be careful with it nonetheless.”

Of course, the EMA acknowledged these side-effect risks during its safety review earlier this month. Both the EMA and WHO have insisted that the potential benefits of the vaccines far outweigh the risks.

Vaccination rates in EU nations remain well below those in the US, which is on the cusp of doling out some 3MM jabs per day, the fastest rate in the world.

France accused of violating international law in Mali air strike that killed 19 civilians

A UN report has accused France of killing 19 civilians in violation of international humanitarian law when fighter jets launched an airstrike that hit a wedding party in central Mali. Paris has refuted the report’s findings.

The investigation, conducted by the United Nations mission in Mali (MINUSMA), was launched after residents of a remote village in central Mali claimed a French air strike on January 3 struck a wedding party, killing civilians.

MINUSMA’s report claims that a wedding was being held where the strike hit, with 100 civilians gathered and five armed individuals believed to be militants from the Katiba Serma jihadist group. The military action killed at least 22 people, 19 of whom are thought to be civilians, according to the UN’s findings.

“The group affected by the strike was overwhelmingly composed of civilians who are protected persons under international humanitarian law,” the report stated.

This strike raises serious concerns about respect for the principles of the conduct of hostilities.

France’s military has repeatedly rejected the allegations, maintaining its position that the air strike targeted and killed jihadists, and denying knowledge of a wedding in the village on that date. Following the UN’s completion of the report, the French armed forces ministry stood by its earlier denial.

The village, Bounti, is located in the Sahel region of northwest to northcentral Africa, where France, Germany and the G5 Sahel group – comprised of Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger – are waging a war on militant Islamist groups. Those groups include al-Qaeda, Katiba Serma and the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM).

France recently requested further support from its military partners in the region, but Germany rejected the request, stating that it will “focus on what we are doing already”, rather than deploy more troops to the area.

24 World Leaders Call For More Globalism In Wake Of Pandemic

Twenty four world leaders have signed a letter calling for more globalism to combat future pandemics, citing the the coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity to consign nationalism to the dustbin of history.

UK prime minister Boris Johnson, German chancellor Angela Merkel, and French president Emmanuel Macron are the leading figures behind the pledge, with 21 other heads of state signing the letter.

It states that “nobody is safe until everyone is safe,” and that a “global community” must be further implemented in order to combat ‘inevitable’ future pandemics.

“At a time when Covid-19 has exploited our weaknesses and divisions, we must seize this opportunity and come together as a global community for peaceful cooperation that extends beyond this crisis,” the letter states.

“Building our capacities and systems to do this will take time and require a sustained political, financial and societal commitment over many years,” it adds.

The letter compares the situation to the aftermath of the Second World War, and urges an end to “isolationism and nationalism”.

The pledge calls for a strengthening of the World Health Organisation’s infrastructure, despite the global health body’s documented failures in regards to the pandemic, and continued charges that it has facilitated the communist Chinese government’s lies and deceptions.

WHO director general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also signed the letter, having repeatedly slammed nations including Britain and the US for putting their own populations first when it comes to recovery.

The letter specifically calls for a global treaty on pandemics to be signed to establish international ‘rules and norms’ for vaccine production and distribution, as well as coordination on ‘alert systems, data-sharing and research’.

Presumably any global treaty would also address restrictions to be put in place under future pandemics, although that is not made clear in the letter.

Support vaccine passports or go back to your caves, 'idiots,' MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough tells Republicans and civil liberties fans

Don’t fancy the idea of carrying a ‘vaccine passport’ to partake in normal life again? For MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, that makes you an “idiot” and a “moron” who should crawl back to your “cave.”

The Biden administration is working with the private sector to develop a standardized way for Americans to prove their Covid-19 vaccination status, the Washington Post reported over the weekend. So-called ‘vaccine passports’ – which proponents argue should be required to travel, work and attend public events – have been bitterly opposed by Republicans and civil liberties advocates, with opponents describing them as a step toward “totalitarian communism” and comparing them to the yellow stars used to identify Jews in Nazi Germany.

When Scarborough gets behind a cause, he tends to go all in. When the US invaded Iraq in 2003, he became one of the media’s most vocal supporters of the war, insisting that US forces would find evidence of chemical weapons and the anti-war crowd would owe the Bush administration an apology. After bashing “negative pronouncements” about the war from the New York Times, CNN, and ABC, he insisted two months into the now 18-year-old conflict that the US had “won.”

While it is unlikely that Scarborough’s haranguing and berating will win over any opponents of vaccine passports, they are likely an inevitability. Aside from Biden’s push for such identification, EU officials have proposed their own certificates, while industry groups like the International Air Transport Association and corporations like IBM have rolled out their own versions of the passports.

With enough enthusiasm from the private sector, the US government may only step in to ensure standardization. Speaking to reporters on Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that “we want to drive the market toward meeting public interest goals.” The government “is not viewing its role as the place to create a passport, nor a place to hold the data of citizens,” Andy Slavitt, a White House Covid-19 adviser, added during Psaki’s briefing.

UK signs deal for GlaxoSmithKline to produce 60 million doses of Novavax Covid-19 vaccine

The UK government has signed a deal with British pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to produce up to 60 million doses of the Novavax Covid-19 vaccine, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced.

"I can today announce that the vaccine taskforce has reached an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline to finish and bottle this precious fluid," Johnson told a coronavirus news briefing on Monday.

Manufacturing will take place at GSK's site in Barnard Castle, a town in the North East of England that drew headlines last year after it was visited by Johnson's then-top aide Dominic Cummings in breach of the national lockdown.

GSK will "fill and finish" vials of the US-developed vaccine at its Barnard Castle facility as soon as May, the company said in a statement.

The antigen component of the jab, which teaches the body to produce antibodies to fight Covid-19, will also be produced in the North East by FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in the town of Stockton-on-Tees.

The government has secured 60 million doses of the vaccine under an advance purchase agreement with Novavax, but the jab will still need to be approved by the UK's drug regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The results of a UK phase 3 trial of the jab earlier this month showed that it has an efficacy of 96% against the original form of Covid-19, as well as high protection against the variants from the UK and South Africa.

More than 30 million people have received their first dose of one of the UK's three approved vaccines made by Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca.

During Monday's briefing Johnson did not refer to Barnard Castle explicitly, only saying that the vaccine would be made "in the North East."

Cummings was sighted in the town in April last year at the height of England's first lockdown when the government was urging people to stay at home.

Shortly after suffering Covid-19 symptoms, he drove from London to his parents' house in Durham, before driving to Barnard Castle to "test his eyesight", which he said had been affected by the virus.

America’s ‘Sheriff of the Year’ Covered Up School Cop Preying on Children for a Decade—Lawsuit

Richland, SC — On Monday, the National Sheriffs Association handed out their highest honor and declared Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, Sheriff of the Year — for the entire United States.

“This is a tremendous honor both personally and for the state of South Carolina,” Lott said in a press release. “This is the first time a S.C. sheriff has been named national Sheriff of the Year.”

This decision was undoubtedly made months ago, but there are likely some members of the association who are worried they may have egg on their face for this move. Around the same time the association made their decision, a lawsuit was filed accusing Lott and internal investigators within his department for coving up sexual abuse of children — for nearly a decade.

According to the lawsuit, Lott along with multiple members of the department, covered up the child sex crimes of the now-former deputy, Jamel Bradley from 2010 to 2019. The coverup, according to the filings, was carried out to save the department from embarrassment and liability — a 9-year conspiracy which has since been proven futile.

Lott and Capt. John E. Ewing, the former deputy’s supervisor, “deliberately and systematically concealed Deputy Bradley’s predatory nature and concealed their own knowledge of his predatory nature,” the filing said.

Bradley has since been arrested and charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct and sexual battery At the time of his arrests, Lott and the department were quick to distance themselves from the alleged child predator.

“I’m sick to my stomach over the thought of this girl being victimized by one of my former deputies. No child should be subjected to this, and I’m disgusted that it happened with someone who was entrusted with protecting our children.”

‘We didn’t ignore this,” Lott said. “As soon as this came to our attention…we got on it.’

But given the claims in the lawsuit, and the facts of the case, this was simply not true.

According to the lawsuit, Lott and others in the department knew about this abuse for years and there were multiple red flags the department swept under the rug which implicated Bradley in crimes against children.

Two of those red flags were lawsuits against the department and Richland school district officials, one of which settled last year for $900,000. Another red flag, according to The State, was evidence that Bradley had inappropriate relationships and possibly sexually assaulted a female student. That evidence included a lie detector test failed by the former deputy and emails with students that lawyers described as clearly suspicious.

For years, multiple other red flags were raised and subsequently ignored by the department. They included inappropriate emails sent by Bradley to children as well as Bradley sending photos of himself to another student. A parent came forward with concerns Bradley was having “sexual relations” with a child which went to the desks of Ewing and the sheriff and were swept under the rug again.

This sheriff just received one of the highest honors in the country, and he’s apparently been covering up child sex abuse for years. This is the state of policing in 2021.

VIDEO: School Board Member Arguing For Mandatory Masks Nearly Passes Out While Wearing Mask

Despite becoming short of breath and taking long pauses between words, the district voted to keep the face mask mandate.

An Idaho Falls District 91 got heated when pro-mask Board of Trustees member Elizabeth Cogliati became short of breath and struggled to speak while wearing a mask and also arguing for mandatory masks, prompting media to declare that she “almost passed out while wearing the face mask.”

When Board of Trustees Chair Lara Hill declared that the mask mandate must remain, because “The CDC is recommending that all phases of schools reopening, no matter what the community transmission is like, (is) to continue masking so you can stay in school,” she was questioned by an anti-mask member, Trustee Paul Haacke, who asked how many times the CDC visited schools in the district.

At this point, Cogliati interrupted to admit that the CDC does not visit schools, prompting Haacke to respond, “Exactly. That’s my point. They are creating regulations,” before being loudly interrupted by an upset Cogliati.

“You interrupted me, Paul! You interrupted me! Please do not interrupt me,” she shouted. At this point Cogliati appeared to have difficulty breathing through her pink face mask, and began taking deep breaths and taking long pauses between words. A brief excerpt of the argument was captured and posted to Twitter.

“They don’t need to visit our school district to make recommendations … for everyone … and … they … currently have … recommendations out that with the current level … of transmission … in Bonneville County … that we should be in hy … brid … for the elementary schools … and virtual … for … middle schools and high schools,” Cogliati added, emphasis added where she paused to apparently catch her breath.

Despite the bizarre behavior from Cogliati, the Board of Trustees ultimately voted to keep the mask mandate, with only Haacke using his vote to dissent. Children will also be allowed to attend classes in person five days per week, up from the previous four.

In addition to the either psychological or physiological difficulties breathing through face masks, National File has exposed a series of other health or environmental concerns associated with the often mandatory face wear.

Most shocking, scientists have now linked the plastic used in the overwhelming majority if not all disposable face masks with penile shrinkage, infertility, and feminine behavior in boys.

Also troubling, a Wuhan, China based company recently sent a large number of face masks to daycare facilities and schools in Canada, only to have the distribution frozen due to potentially toxic materials in the masks that could lead to permanent lung damage.

The cost of face masks has also been disastrous for the natural environment, as once pristine locations uninhabited by humans are now littered with face masks, and there are more face masks in the ocean than jellyfish.

Pentagon ‘diversity chief’ reassigned amid probe of social media posts

US Special Operations’ new “chief of diversity” has been reassigned just days after he was appointed, amid an investigation into social media posts in which he compared former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.

A Department of Defense official confirmed the reassignment of Richard Torres-Estrada to Fox News on Tuesday.

Torres-Estrada’s appointment as chief of diversity and inclusion was announced just last Thursday by the US Special Operations Command.

But by Monday, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby confirmed a probe into Torres-Estrada’s social-media posts, which include an image juxtaposing Trump and Hitler and an anti-police political cartoon.

“Obviously, we take the need to promote diversity and inclusion seriously here in the department,” Kirby said during a Monday briefing, according to Fox News. “The secretary [of defense, Lloyd Austin] has spoken to that many times. And we certainly want that work to be transparent, to be credible, to be effective, and of course professional.”

The Foundation Funding the “Fact-Checkers” Who Defend the Chinese Communist Party Is Heavily Invested in China.

The Knight Foundation – a George Soros-linked, left-wing group purporting to tackle disinformation by funding anti-conservative media operations and “fact-checkers” – has investments in firms tied to the Russian government and Chinese Communist Party, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

The group’s most recent financial disclosures reveal over $17,000,000 invested in a Chinese Communist Party-linked investment fund and over $1,200,000 invested in Russia Partners – which boasts of its close connections to “government leaders in Russia.”

The unearthed financial ties come as the group continues to peddle conspiracy theories about Russian influence in the 2016 election and purports to “protect press freedom” while investing in countries whose journalism sectors are consistently ranked among the least free.

China Capital and Growth.

Since at least 2011, the Knight Foundation’s financial disclosure forms reveal two investments: IDG-Accel China Capital II and IDG-Accel China Growth III.

The most recent financial disclosure on the Knight Foundation’s site shows that in 2019 the value of the investments totaled $11,597,551 and $6,066,392, respectively.

From 2013 to 2015, the group’s financial disclosures also listed China as a “foreign country in which organization has financial interest.”

The two Chinese private equity funds describe themselves as “making investments within China” – and often in state-run companies.

At least a dozen of the fund’s employees have ties to the Chinese Communist Party, including former officials in the technology and urban planning sectors along with the State Department., former employees of the Chinese military proxy China Mobile, and recipients of Chinese Communist Party awards for “Pushing the Area Economy Forward.”

Senior Advisor Jianning Jiang also serves as a Chief Advisor to the body overseeing China’s various Communist Youth Leagues.

Chinese state-run media directors, several ex-employees of state-run investment funds, fellows from state-run think tanks, and professors and People’s Liberation Army-linked colleges.

Aimed at boosting the Chinese economy, the investment group describes one of its primary goals as “upgrading and transform[ing] the Chinese economy by partnering with Chinese companies to acquire technology and industrial know-how abroad” and admits to having “partnered” with the Chinese Communist Party city-level governments to do so.

Companies the firm has invested in have also count the Chinese Communist Party as customers and include firms such as Tencent – which has been described by the U.S. State Department as a “tool of the Chinese government” – in its portfolio.

…And Russia.

Under the guise of “combatting misinformation,” the left-wing foundation has funneled tens of millions of dollars into fact-checking operations used by platforms such as Facebook and mainstream media outlets.

And, given its repeated funding, event, and research collaboration with groups such as George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, often leverages these connections to go after conservative news sites.

Recently, a group funded by the Knight Foundation – Global Disinformation Index (GDI) – was responsible for “providing” The New York Times with the information for a hit piece on the anti-Chinese Communist Party outlet The Epoch Times.

“The data was provided by Advance Democracy, a research group, and analyzed by the nonprofit Global Disinformation Index, not provided solely by GDI,” the New York Times article reads after it was revised to include the source of its data.

Cryptos stride further into mainstream as new PayPal feature lets users pay with bitcoin, ethereum & more

PayPal has rolled out a new service which introduces cryptocurrencies as a form of payment and enables US buyers to use their crypto holdings to pay for goods with millions of online merchants.

The online payments giant has added a new ‘Checkout with Crypto’ feature, which is set to become available for US users from Tuesday. The service will allow those holding bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, and litecoin in their wallets to convert their tokens into US dollars or other fiat currencies while making purchases, with no additional transaction fees.

The option is set to automatically appear in people’s PayPal wallets, but only one type of coin can be used for each purchase, according to the company. The fintech giant reportedly plans to enable the option at all of its 29 million merchants.

“This is the first time you can seamlessly use cryptocurrencies in the same way as a credit card or a debit card inside your PayPal wallet,” the company’s president and CEO Dan Schulman told Reuters, which first reported the move.

In another statement, he said that introducing cryptocurrencies as a payments tool globally marks “the next chapter in driving the ubiquity and mass acceptance of digital currencies.”

PayPal revealed its support for digital assets last year, when it moved to allow customers to buy, sell, and hold bitcoin, ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. The move from such a big player, which currently has 377 million accounts worldwide, helped to boost a massive crypto rally.

News of the new feature lifted the price of bitcoin and other main digital currencies on Tuesday. Bitcoin was up around 2%, trading at around $59,200, while ethereum gained nearly 4% to hit nearly $1,840.

PayPal’s move is not the only one driving cryptocurrencies higher this week. On Monday, Visa said that it has enabled payments in stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).

Bill Clinton appointee and Los Angeles Times Legal Affairs Columnist Harry Litman admitted that “vaccine passports are a good idea” because they will “single out” and “break down” vaccine skeptics. This comes amid widespread concerns with reports that the Biden regime is influencing corporations to de-facto force Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine by restricting access to travel, products, and services.

To the displeasure of many New Yorkers, governor Andrew Cuomo has unveiled the “Excelsior Pass,” a vaccine passport that citizens of that state will need to get in order to engage in commerce, as National File reported.

The New York Post reports that the vaccine passport will force New Yorkers to “prove their vaccination status, or recent history of a negative COVID-19 test, in order to gain entry to events and businesses,” and was unveiled by Cuomo in a press release last week.

According to the New York government, the vaccine passport will be available on smartphones or be printed, and must be presented by New Yorkers to enter “businesses and become part of New York’s safe reopening.” They add, “Businesses will scan your Pass with a mobile device or tablet.”

In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced that he will be taking executive action against the Biden regime’s development of vaccine passports. “You want the fox to guard the hen house? I mean, give me a break,” said DeSantis. “I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do.”

As National File reported, the Washington Post confirmed that the Biden regime and private companies “are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as ‘vaccine passports’ — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen.” In other words, Americans will have to provide a certification of vaccination identification before being offered business.

It appears that the United States is taking inspiration for their COVID-19 response from none other than Xi Jinping’s communist China, who oversaw implementation of a QR code-based digital certificate proclaimed as the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine passport in early March, according to reports.

Sen. Steve Daines: Mexican Cartel Threatened Republican Senators from Across Rio Grande

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) told Breitbart News on Monday that he and other Republican senators were “taunted” by Mexican cartel members during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley Sector in Texas. He joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow, author of Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption, to discuss his observations.

“We went right there at midnight [on Friday] to the Rio Grande River, and we were really taunted by Mexican cartel members,” Daines shared. “They didn’t know it was Republican senators who were staying there — literally on the water’s edge in the brush — but they knew it was probably Border Patrol. They could hear the English voices.

Daines continued, “We had Border Patrol who could translate what the cartel members were saying. It was vile. It was threatening. It was obscene, because they know they can have their way. They’re not afraid. They know they can make thousands of dollars per person that’s crossing right now. That’s what’s going on, right now.”

Marlow asked what the cartel members were saying.

“I can’t repeat it on the air,” Daines replied. “Our Border Patrol guys were saying that they were telling us to stick certain — it related to anatomy and other things. Let me just say that. It was absolutely vile, and it was horrible, and, ‘You can’t stop us,’ and so forth. They had these great big flashlights they shot back at us. This is what’s at stake. It’s lawlessness. They don’t care.”

Woke Philosopher Michel Foucault Raped 8-Year-Old Children in Tunisian Cemeteries: Claim

French postmodernist philosopher Michel Foucault, whose writings have become central in modern woke ideology, has been accused of sexually abusing children as young as eight-years-old while living in Tunisia during the 1960s.

Foucault, a vocal proponent of paedophilia in his writings, signed a petition to legalise sex with 13-year-old children in 1977.

A contemporary intellectual, Guy Sorman, told Britain’s The Sunday Times that he witnessed Foucault courting young boys during his time in Tunisia when the French philosopher took a philosophy professorship at the University of Tunis.

“Young children were running after Foucault saying ‘what about me? take me, take me’,” Sorman said.

“They were eight, nine, ten years old, he was throwing money at them and would say ‘let’s meet at 10 p.m. at the usual place’,” he said, adding: “He would make love there on the gravestones with young boys. The question of consent wasn’t even raised.”

Sorman said that while he regrets not coming forward with the accusations earlier, the French media was covering up for the philosopher, saying: “There were journalists present on that trip, there were many witnesses, but nobody did stories like that in those days. Foucault was the philosopher-king. He’s like our god in France.”

Despite Foucault’s self-professed Marxist leanings, Sorman said that his behaviour in real life was indicative of French elitism, noting that Foucalt “believed there were two morals, one for the elite, which was immoral, and one for the people, which should be restrictive.”

“He thought his arguments gave him permission to do whatever he wanted.”

“France is still not a democracy, we had the revolution, proclaimed a republic but there’s still an aristocracy, it’s the intelligentsia, and it has had a special status. Anything goes,” Sorman said, suggesting that now “the world is suddenly changing.”

Election Audit Reveals Irregularities for 1 in 14 Mail-In Votes Cast.

An audit of mail-in ballots cast in Montana for the 2020 presidential election reveals a host of irregularities including evidence that “one or several persons may have filled out and submitted multiple ballots” and the failure of a county elections office to provide video footage of vote-counting.

“The story at hand begins during the pandemic summer of 2020, when the then-governor, Democrat Steve Bullock, issued a directive permitting counties to conduct the general election fully by mail,” John Lott, a noted crime and gun researcher, begins.

Lott, also a Senior Adviser for Research and Statistics at the Office of Justice Programs in the Trump administration, outlines the “troubling” conclusion of the state’s audit:

Its conclusions were troubling: 4,592 out of the 72,491 mail-in ballots lacked envelopes—6.33% of all votes. Without an officially printed envelope with registration information, a voter’s signature, and a postmark indicating whether it was cast on time, election officials cannot verify that a ballot is legitimate. It is against the law to count such votes. What’s more, according to auditors, county employees claimed that during the post-election audit, some of the envelopes may have been double-counted, possibly indicating an even higher number of missing envelopes.

The audit also tested a sample of 15,455 mail-in envelopes for defects.

“Of these, 55 lacked postmark dates and 53 never had their signatures checked—for a total of 0.7% of all ballots in the sample. No envelope had more than one irregularity. Extrapolating from the sub-sample, that would make more than 5,000 of Missoula County’s votes—roughly 7%—with unexplained irregularities,” Lott explains.

The audit also uncovered dozens of ballot envelopes that “bore strikingly similar, distinctive handwriting styles in the signatures, suggesting that one or several persons may have filled out and submitted multiple ballots, an act of fraud”:

One auditor asserted that of 28 envelopes reviewed from the same address, a nursing home, all 28 signatures looked “exactly the same” stylistically. Another auditor reported that among the envelopes she reviewed, two very unique signatures appeared dozens of times, describing one such signature as starting out flat, moving to a peak, and tapering out, and another as consisting of numerous circles—a “bubble signature.”

The probe also concerned auditors, as the county elections office “did not provide access to video footage it claimed to have recorded of vote-counting activities.”

Leaked Video Shows Border Patrol’s Struggle to Revive 9-Yr-Old Migrant Girl Who Drowned Crossing Rio Grande

A leaked Border Patrol video details the dramatic attempt by Del Rio Sector agents to revive a 9-year-old migrant girl who drowned while crossing the Rio Grande with her mother and another sibling. The agents successfully revived the mother and one child, but the little girl could not be saved.

Del Rio Sector Marine Unit agents came upon a small island in the middle of the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass, Texas, on March 20. The agents found three people unconscious on the island where they became stranded while attempting to cross from Mexico into Texas, according to information provided by Del Rio Sector Border Patrol officials.

The video obtained exclusively by Breitbart Texas shows the marine agents rushing to reach the riverbank while attempting to resuscitate the little girl. The video goes black as the ground-based agents reach in to lift the girl out of the boat and onto land where more intensive first aid can be applied.

The frantic voices of the agents can be heard giving instructions and aid to the other agents attempting the rescue. The surviving three-year-old child can be heard crying in the background.

“Put her on a flat surface,” one agent says. “Start compressions.”

“Keep trying,” a voice can be heard saying. The sounds of the agents trying to help the little girl can be heard. “Hear breath?” an agent asks.

The efforts resulted in fluids coming from her mouth as agents continued compressions. “Turn her to the side,” the agent instructs. “All the way. Her whole body.”

“There you go, good job,” the agent says. “Good job.”

“Come on, wake up!” another agent exclaims. “Wake up, baby, come on.”

The agents transferred care of the child to an Eagle Pass Fire Department EMS crew who also could not resuscitate her. Medical professionals subsequently declared the child to be deceased, officials stated.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of this small child,” Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II said in a written statement last week. “During these hard times our agents remain resilient, and I am extremely proud of their efforts to preserve human life.”

Del Rio Sector agents apprehended 2,240 migrants during a three-day period last week, Skero tweeted on Thursday. He said their sector is witnessing a 300 percent increase over the same year-to-date numbers from last year.

Migrant Deaths Jump 20 Percent in Texas County 80 Miles from Border

The migrant border surge bringing hundreds of thousands of people to Texas yielded a 20 percent increase in deaths in Brooks County in 2021 to date. The increase in deaths in this county, located 80 miles inland from the Mexican border, follows multiple years of decreasing deaths, according to the local sheriff.

Brooks County Sheriff Benny Martinez told Breitbart Texas his office is witnessing an increase in the number of migrants dying in his county this year as a result of the migrant surge at the border. The deaths occur when human smugglers drop the migrants off on ranches located south of the U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint located on U.S. Highway 281 in the middle of the county. The smugglers force the migrants to march through the ranches, resulting in 18 deaths so far this year.

The Fourth Amendment was put in place to protect Americans from the government. In recent years, this amendment has been torn apart and it’s only getting worse.

The Fourth Amendment involves privacy law. Cornell Law shares the following about this amendment:

The Fourth Amendment originally enforced the notion that “each man’s home is his castle”, secure from unreasonable searches and seizures of property by the government. It protects against arbitrary arrests, and is the basis of the law regarding search warrants, stop-and-frisk, safety inspections, wiretaps, and other forms of surveillance, as well as being central to many other criminal law topics and to privacy law.

Here is the Amendment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The amendment which provides protection for individuals from the government was destroyed over the past few decades. Bush pushed for spying on Americans if they were related to terrorist activities and then Obama took that to a whole new level. Obama spied on everyone.

US Navy tells staff on 'extremism' training course they can advocate for BLM at work but they are NOT allowed to discuss 'politically partisan issues'

The US Navy's training on 'extremism' says staff can advocate for Black Lives Matter (BLM) while at work but service members are not allowed to discuss 'politically partisan issues', training slides reveal.

The Navy described BLM as a 'public policy issue' in the slides and advocating for the organisation was allowed as long as the behavior is lawful.

But they stated that advocacy would be prohibited if it was 'politically partisan in nature'.

In the 'scenarios for discussion' slides, obtained by Fox News, Navy personnel were asked if they think BLM is 'political stuff' that those in command are 'not supposed to be talking about at work'.

In response, the Navy stated that BLM is a 'public policy issue' and advocating for the global organization was allowed 'as long as the behavior is otherwise lawful and the advocacy is not politically partisan in nature'.

It comes after the defense secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a military-wide stand-down last month following a meeting with the US military branch leaders, who are under pressure to show progress in combating extremism after current and former military service members were found to have participated in the siege of the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The slides, which were obtained from a US military official who took part in the training exercise at the Pentagon, stated: 'Advocating for or against a public policy issue (as here) is authorized as long as the behavior is otherwise lawful and the advocacy is not politically partisan in nature (e.g. it doesn't specifically address a political party.

'If the discussions make you uncomfortable, discuss the matter with your boss or another supervisor.'

FOIA Request Shows FBI Adding Non-Prohibited Buyers to NICS Preventing Gun Purchases

A Freedom of Information Act document request (FOIA) obtained by Gun Owners of America (GOA) shows that people who haven’t committed a crime that would not make them a prohibited person could still be put on the prohibited list.

The FOIA request (embedded below) shows that the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) considers anyone with a warrant for arrest to be a prohibited person. The person doesn’t even have to be aware that a judge issued a warrant for their arrest. The crime doesn’t even have to rise to the level of a violation of the law that would block a person from owning a gun.

The form reads: “The legal counsel of the DOJ, the ATF, and the FBI have agreed that a hit on any active criminal warrant involving a felony or misdemeanor criminal charge disqualifies an individual from receiving a firearm. The element of flight does not have to be determined at the time of the denial.”

According to the FBI, a fugitive from justice is defined as the following:

A person who has fled from any state to avoid prosecution for a felony or misdemeanor; or

A person who leaves the state to avoid giving testimony in any criminal proceeding; or

A person who knows that misdemeanor or felony charges are pending against him or her and who leaves the state of prosecution and does not appear before the prosecuting tribunal.

Let’s say the authorities obtain a video of a person doing donuts in a parking lot. The police issue a warrant for reckless endangerment. The FBI’s system considers that person a fugitive from justice even if they are not, and if that person goes to buy a gun, NICS will kick back a denial. The offense doesn’t have to rise to the level needed to strip a person of your gun rights, but you cannot buy a gun since there is a warrant out for that person.

NY High Court Allows Former Apprentice Contestant to Sue Donald Trump For Defamation

New York state’s highest court on Tuesday cleared the way for a former contestant on “The Apprentice” to sue Donald Trump for defamation, after the former U.S. president called her a liar for accusing him of sexual assault.

Trump had argued before leaving the White House on Jan. 20 that Summer Zervos could not pursue her case because a sitting president could not be sued, but the state Court of Appeals said in a brief order that “the issues presented have become moot.”

A lawyer for Trump did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Zervos’ lawyers did not immediately respond to similar requests.

The order likely means Zervos’ case will return to a Manhattan trial court, and give her lawyers an opportunity to question Trump under oath.

Zervos came forward during the 2016 presidential campaign with accusations that Trump subjected her to unwanted kissing and groping after she sought career advice in 2007, two years after her appearance on his reality television show.

She sued Trump in January 2017 after he branded such allegations by women “lies” and retweeted a post calling Zervos’ claims a “hoax.”

Zervos has been seeking a retraction or an apology, plus compensatory damages and punitive damages.

Trump has denied Zervos’ claims, and called her case politically motivated.

Former Elle magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll is also suing Trump for defamation, after he denied having raped her in the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan in the mid-1990s.

Trump has also denied claims by several other women of improper sexual conduct.

Biden names his first 11 judicial nominees including the first Muslim district judge, three black women and the first Asian-American woman on the DC federal district court

President Joe Biden has named 11 judicial nominees including a Muslim judge, three black women and jurist who would be the first Asian-American on the DC federal district court.

Biden's first slate of diverse picks comes after Donald Trump won the confirmation of 220 conservative judges during his White House tenure.

'This trailblazing slate of nominees draws from the very best and brightest minds of the American legal profession,' Biden said in a statement that emphasized their 'broad diversity of background experience and perspective.'

The Black women nominated for federal circuit court vacancies include Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, Tiffany Cunningham for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Candace Jackson-Akiwumi for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Zahid N. Quraishi, a New Jersey magistrate judge, would be the nation´s first Muslim American to serve on a federal district court.

Judge Florence Pan would be the first Asian-American judge to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the White House said in a statement.

On the campaign trail, Biden vowed to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court, should a vacancy open during his term.

The DC Appeals Court, which handles many complex federal cases, has long been viewed as a pipeline to the Supreme Court, and such an appointment could put Jackson in pole position for the top court.

Biden began his term with 68 judicial vacancies, including seven appellate court vacancies and 61 district court vacancies.

His first wave of nominees will face tough challenges in the evenly divided Senate, where judicial confirmation votes for the lifetime federal bench often turn contentious.

Democrats control the Senate due to Vice President Kamala Harris' tiebreaking vote, which could seal a judicial confirmation if the battle broke down strictly along party lines.

On the campaign trail, Biden vowed to elevate a black woman to the Supreme Court, saying that 'everyone should be represented — no one's better than me and I'm no better than anyone else.'

'I'm looking forward to making sure there's a black woman on the Supreme Court, to make sure we, in fact, get every representation,' he said at a Democratic debate last February. Biden reaffirmed his vow after winning the November election.
