BEIJING

A Chinese court has sentenced Sun Zhengcai, the former Communist Party boss of the southwestern city of Chongqing, to life in prison for corruption, the official Xinhua news agency said on Tuesday.

Sun, 54, who in April admitted to taking bribes of more than 170 million yuan ($27 million), is the latest former official taken down in President Xi Jinping's war on graft.

The horrifying image is accompanied by a grammatically incorrect message, seemingly intended to spread fear and to flex what is currently the nigh-on nonexistent muscles of ISIS.

Aspiring model, 18, found dead in home of 41-year-old ER doctor who said they had 'consensual sex' after 'snorting cocaine and smoking marijuana'

The body of Olya Langille was discovered in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida apartment of emergency room doctor Naval Parikh.

An autopsy found that fentanyl, an opioid, and Xanax were also in her system. Langille's death was ruled an accidental overdose.

Parikh told police that he and Langille had sex after meeting at the sports bar Blondies on March 25.
