Graduation is a right of passage.
Anon daughter graduates this year. Graduation is a "drive in", one car per graduate, meaning no friends, no family and you must wear a mask IN YOUR CAR. When name is called out, on your radio, someone will bring diploma to car. RIDICULOUS.
Anon daughter has worked her butt off. 4.17 GPA, has been offered over a dozen scholarships, contacted by over 40 universities to apply. She's taking a gap year at the very least and frankly no longer has any interest in furthering her education. She's a white, conservative christian, that's why, and well aware of the current toxic environment of college campus.
A skipped graduation is nothing? Maybe, time will tell.
