I agree, anon. I'm devastated, today. My son went to a year at a Christian college. Before that, at his request and desire, I worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs to put him through Christian high school. After 1 year at Bible college, he changed directions completely and joined the Marines. I'm military too, so I was thrilled when he made it in. He's about to get out, in a few months and called to visit and keep me up to date. I was absolutely shocked to hear how he was talking about anti vaxers and people who think about things such as flat earth. I'm getting a lump in my throat I'm his parent and he called people like me "psychopaths who still have all of their freedoms" He has no idea how much I've learned, since he's been away. And, I had no idea how much he's been indoctrinated. I hope he can ease out of it, when he gets back to the world. Dang. I hope he didn't quit believing, as well. We never talk about politics, 'cause on the rare talks we've had, I don't want to waste our conversations on that garbage. Anyway…spouse has a high-ranking Navy boy who was for Bernie. We're gonna have to fight for our kids. They have new gods.
