A Mr. Maurice Hall is being implicated as the supplier of drugs to George Floyd and his girlfriend. This article confirms that he is the man who was in the front passenger seat of vehicle with Floyd.

According to Floyd's girlfriend, George Floyd previously overdosed in March of 2020, and was hospitalized for several days. She admitted that at the time of the overdose, he was foaming at the mouth.
The FBI was made aware that Hall sells drugs; he may be under investigation. He apparently has refused to testify at this trial:

But Hall filed a surprise motion in Hennepin County District Court late Wednesday asking not to be called in the murder trial of ex-cop Derek Chauvin, and insisting he would not answer questions even if called."

Interesting: paramedic on stand explained the use of sodium bicarbonate for acidosis/low pH, to "optimize the patient's condition for a successful resuscitation." I think it's interesting because there is a lot of evidence that points to a low pH being responsible/contributing factor for many maladies, such as cancer.
