Project Veritas on Thursday released secretly recorded video showing migrants, including children, held under a bridge in a makeshift Customs and Border Protection processing center enduring inhumane conditions at the southern border.

Migrants of all ages were laying in the dirt under the Anzalduas International Bridge at the processing center in Granjeno, Texas.

Joe Biden invited the migrants by telling them to surge the US border.

A reported 17,000 unaccompanied child migrants are in U.S. custody, including 5,000 being kept in overcrowded Border Patrol stations not meant for children.

Several migrant children have drowned trying to cross the Rio Grande in response to Biden’s invitation to surge the border.

Former Acting Director of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tom Homan this week accused the Biden Administration of hiding the truth about crisis and said Joe Biden “knew what he was doing” when he “sold out our southern border security and our national security to win an election.”

"Nightmare": Los Angeles DA 'To Dissolve Or Downsize' Hardcore Gangs, Major Narcotics Units

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón (D) is planning to "severely downsize or outright dissolve" the office's Hardcore Gang and Major Narcotics units as early as next month, according to Fox11 LA, citing multiple sources within the DA's office.

"What we're hearing is that the Hardcore Gang Unit will be dissolved," said one of the DA's prosecutors, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"My understanding is there's going to be a dissolution of the unit either April 1 or April 2," said a second prosecutor, who say they feel they've been "hamstrung by Gascón's decision to ban them from using gang and gun enhancements, and they feel that disbanding the unit will be a disaster waiting to happen, given the violent crime surge across Los Angeles," according to the report.

"We can already hear in jail calls and interviews with officers on the street telling us that the gang members are laughing at them, I mean it’s undermined the credibility of law enforcement in its entirety," one of the prosecutors told Fox11.

The Hardcore Gangs unit - responsible for prosecuting the most "heinous and complex gang-related crimes in the county" - is currently juggling 700 active cases, according to FoxLA's Bill Melugin. What's more, "the LA DA Office's Major Narcotics unit had a meeting with upper management at 3pm and were informed that their unit will be cut by as much as half."

Sources tell me management is saying Gascon wants to "reimagine" the unit and make it more community based. I'm told management hasn't answered them on how big the downsizing will be/when it will happen, but the unit will be renamed because administration doesn't like it. @FOXLA

The Hardcore Gang unit prosecutors disagree - and say dissolving it will hurt marginalized communities the most.

"The misnomer with my cases, because I do all gang violence cases, gang murder particularly, is that all of my victims are rival gang members, and that’s not true. They miss their targets and they get their enemies wrong fully because of the way they look, whether that's a Hispanic male with a shaved head or a Black male standing on the corner at the wrong place at the wrong time."

Yes, COVID-19 Was a Biological Attack by the Chinese Communist Party – Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D.

In a must-read article in the December 2020 issue of Indian Defense Review, Dr. Sharad S Chauhan defines “Opportunistic Bioterrorism” as:

Concealment of the emergence of a biological agent, pathogen or a disease by acts of commission or omission with the knowledge that such an act will harm or kill humans’ animals or plants with the intent to intimidate or coerce a government or civilian population to further political or social objectives or by using a situation to get power or an advantage.”

That “opportunity” was COVID-19, a product of policies and actions undertaken by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

First and foremost, it is critical for everyone to understand that, in the People’s Republic of China, there is no difference between military and civilian research centers.

Chapter 78 of the CCP’s Thirteenth Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) describes the fusion of military and civilian research including the area of “synthetic biology.”

Even prior to the publication of that plan, it had been common practice for the CCP to change the name of military research centers to something more civilian-sounding and for Chinese scientists to disguise their military connections.

A second component of the CCP’s military-civilian fusion effort is the integration of Chinese scientists working abroad as part of the network, even to the extent that Chinese scientists have become U.S. citizens, but remain active members of the CCP’s program.

In that way, foreign institutions and foreign funding sources become de facto partners in the CCP’s research program and contributors to China’s military and economic might.

The most glaring, but far from the only example of such American “useful idiot” participants in the CCP military-civilian research program, is Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) funded coronavirus research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology via long-time CCP research collaborator Peter Daszak, who is head of the EcoHealth Alliance.

The CCP integration of military-civilian virus research is led by the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, where Dr. Wei Chen, a Major General in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the virologist, is Director of the Institute of Bioengineering and presumed to be the head of China’s biological warfare program.

When we think about effective corporate governance, the name Elon Musk comes to mind.

Endeavor Group - the company that owns both UFC and the Miss Universe concept - must have felt similarly situated, because they have nominated Elon Musk to join their board of directors, according to CNBC this week. Endeavor started as a talent agency run by agent Ari Emanuel.

And who better to have overseeing a company than a man who has taunted regulators over dogecoin and confidently told the SEC to "SEC" just months after being accused of committing securities fraud for faking a nearly $100 billion buyout of his company?

Endeavor wrote in its IPO filing: ″Mr. Musk was selected to serve on our board of directors because of his professional background and experience running a public company, his previously held senior executive-level positions, his service on other public company boards and his experience starting, growing and integrating businesses.”

Musk has yet to be elected and is still allowed to serve on the board of other companies, despite this 2018 settlement with the SEC that resulted in him stepping down as Tesla's chairman.

Endeavor's Emanuel family has worked with Musk for years, including having put down one of the first reservations for Tesla's production Roadster. Ari Emanuel's siblings include Rahm Emanuel, who famously gave a contract to Musk's Boring Company in 2018. Musk has been a regular on Joe Rogan's podcast, as well. Rogan is managed by Endeavor.

Google cancels April Fools’, celebrates ‘fact-checking day’ instead

Google has canceled its usual April Fools’ pranks for a second year in a row, citing the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic. It will still celebrate the much less entertaining “international fact-checking day” on April 2.

“With much of the world still grappling with serious challenges, we feel we should again pause the jokes for April Fools' Day this year,” an internal memo seen by several tech news sites on Wednesday read. Last year, the company also canceled its planned pranks “out of respect for all those fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Google has a long-standing tradition of sometimes elaborate April Fools’ pranks. It’s ‘Mic Drop’ prank in 2016, for example, added an animated gif of a Minion character to emails, a prank that backfired when users accidentally sent the image alongside important business emails. Other pranks allowed users to play Pac-Man and Snake on Google Maps, announced a Dutch app enabling communication with tulips, and posted a job listing for a dog engineer.

After every party comes a hangover, and April 2 marks “International Fact-Checking Day,” a day dreamed up in 2017 by journalists and academics at the London School of Economics. Google took the opportunity this year to boast of its AI-powered efforts to fight Covid-19 “misinformation.”

The tech giant also announced that it would contribute $29 million to set up an EU-wide fund to “fight misinformation and support fact checking.” In a blog post, it said that it wants to recruit academics and nonprofits to “access accurate information, and sort facts from fiction.”

Fact-checking, however, is a contentious idea. Facebook and YouTube – a sister company of Google – have both teamed up with third-party fact-checkers to review potentially misleading political posts, but these fact-checkers have been accused of bias of their own. In the US, the general public does not trust the media to fact-check political claims, while 70% of Republicans believe that fact-checking favors the other side.

UK govt launches immediate investigation into sexual abuse in schools, after 11,000 alleged victims post testimonies online

An immediate review of safeguarding policies in British state and independent schools will be launched, the government has announced, following the online posting of thousands of reports of sexual abuse.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Department for Education said it had asked the UK’s education watchdog, Ofsted, to look at “the extent and the severity of the issue”, and ensure the correct practices are in place to support potential victims.

The review will be carried out by the end of May and will involves the police, as well as representatives from social services, victim support groups and schools.

A new helpline, run by the NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity, will also go live from Thursday to support young people and help them report sexual abuse in school to the police, the department said.

The scale of the problem facing British schools has been laid bare in recent weeks, as more than 11,500 testimonies of rape, sexual violence and abuse were posted to the website Everyone’s Invited.

“Sexual abuse in any form is abhorrent, and it is vital that these allegations are dealt with properly,” UK Education Secretary Gavin Williamson said in response to the deluge of allegations of abuse.

While the review is to focus on state-run and independent schools, in recent weeks, the spotlight has also been thrown on alleged serial abuse in private institutions that don’t have existing formal co-operation networks with police.

The fee-paying Highgate School, in London, which is named in the allegations posted to Everyone’s Invited, has said that a former Court of Appeal judge will conduct a review into its alleged “rape culture”.

Two other private schools in the capital, Dulwich College and Latymer Upper School, which have been hit by hundreds of allegations, have both reported incidents involving their pupils to police.

London’s Metropolitan Police said last week that it is investigating a number of the complaints posted on Everyone’s Invited and has engaged with the platform owner.

New, bombshell admissions over China’s influence in both the United States and Europe link organizations such as the Berggruen Institute with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Berggruen Institute first rose to national attention after co-founding the “Transition Integrity Project” which advised on how Joe Biden could seize power on the back of an ostensible Trump victory.

The news lends further credibility to election-tampering theories especially concerning Chinese Communist Party influence.

A 2017 report effectively claims – on the CCP’s behalf – that CNN host Fareed Zakaria, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Facebook Oversight Board member Helle Thorning-Schmidt, NeverTrump philanthropist Pierre Omidyar and many others “co-operate” with the CCP and its goals.

An unearthed media communique entitled “Holding High the Banner of Party Media and Fulfilling Its Duties and Missions” appears on the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) website.

The government entity reportedly engages in “online propaganda and public opinion work” and upholds a “Socialist core value view,” while spearheading censorship of media and the internet in China. In other words, they pump out pro-CCP lines abroad, while cracking down on dissent within.

The release brags of the work of the Chinese Communist Party’s Western-focused propaganda efforts via the state-owned China Daily newspaper and website. China Daily has purchased placement inside the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post – the latter of which also carries a Fareed Zakaria opinion column, weekly.

At the time of publication, Zakaria’s latest column is entitled: “The Pentagon is using China as an excuse for huge new budgets,” wherein the CNN host lauds China’s “ambitious” Belt and Road Initiative and insists the U.S. need not worry about China’s rise as a military power.

On the run-up to the 2020 election, the Commission on Presidential Debates misled the public over a tweet from C-SPAN political editor Steve Scully.

Scully was caught attempting to collude with famed anti-Trump activist Anthony Scaramucci, and falsely claimed he had been hacked and that a tweet sent from his account was not, in fact, sent by him. It was a lie, as Scully would admit to in the weeks to come. But not before the Commission on Presidential Debates had attempted to cover for him. Articles still available today retain the false “hacking” claim.

Chauvin Trial: ‘Anti-Cop’ Prosecution Witness Apparently Wore Black Lives Matter T-Shirt on Stand

A prosecution witness in the Chauvin trial who dislikes police seemingly wore a Black Lives Matter t shirt on the stand.

An “anti-cop” expert prosecution witness appeared to wear a Black Lives Matter t-shirt on the stand as he testified Tuesday in the trial of ex-Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, who faces murder and manslaughter charges in the 2020 death of George Floyd.

With cameras in the court room rolling throughout the trial, viewers have pointed not to the button down shirt of Donald Williams, but the Black Lives Matter t shirt he appeared to wear beneath it.

Williams, who was present at the scene of George Floyd’s death, was brought in by the prosecution to not just testify about what he saw, but what he knows as an accomplished MMA fighter regarding restraints and techniques similar to the one Officer Chauvin used as he restrained Floyd immediately before his death. As Williams testified, an outline of portions of the Black Lives Matter organization’s logo could be seen showing through his over shirt.

‘Fire Fauci’ Bill Introduced to Congress Today.

Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene will today introduce a new bill entitled the “Fire Fauci Act,” seeking to strip the highest-paid U.S. federal employee and COVID-19 “father” of his position as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Despite insisting upon universal mask mandates in late 2020 and 2021, Fauci infamously told Americans in March of 2020 that “people should not be walking around with masks,” adding “there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask.”

His multitude of “flip flops” over the course of the pandemic, as well as his overtly partisan positioning in recent weeks has led Greene to demand his termination from the NIAID.

Dr. Fauci is closely connected with Dr. Peter Daszak, the World Health Organization inspector who recently admitted to links with the Chinese Communist Party.

Fauci has held his position since 1984. The bill would effectively cut his salary to $0 while his replacement is settled on and confirmed by the Senate. The bill would also trigger a Government Accountability Office audit into Fauci’s digital communications and financial transactions from October 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.

In addition to Fauci’s bungled COVID-19 response, the NIAID Director is also a long-time advocate and funder of gain of function research – a scientific practice that increases the virulence and transmissibility of diseases like COVID-19. What’s more, Fauci funneled millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance group, which collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on this form of research and also spoke repeatedly at their events.

Chinese Communist Party Shuts Down, Confiscates All Property From Church.

The Chinese Communist Party shut down and seized property belonging to a church in China’s Chongqing municipality.

The confiscation of all of Mt. Olive Church’s property, even including chairs and books, was carried out by over 30 Chinese Communist Party officials from the local police, state security, and local district administration.

“The Texas-based non-governmental organization China Aid reported the same group of officials, led by the Yuzhong District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, raided the church during its worship service last Sunday. The authorities sent the members home and sealed the church without showing any papers to prove official authorization,” the Christian Post adds.

New Migrant Caravan Begins Trek to U.S. from Honduras

A new caravan has formed in Central America and is traveling north with the goal of reaching the U.S.-Mexico Border.

The caravan formed earlier this week as several hundred migrants left San Pedro Sula in Honduras, Telesur TV reported. The group is preparing to cross into Guatemala despite claims by that country’s government that irregular migration will not be allowed. The Guatemalan government issued an order this week allowing the use of force to contain the caravan, the TV station reported.

The new caravan comes as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is overwhelmed by the number of migrants arriving each day. The surge appears to be largely fueled by the arrival of President Joe Biden and commonly held hopes that asylum determinations will be more favorable.

Last month, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador publicly blamed Biden for the migration spike which is also impacting Mexican efforts to contain the situation. Lopez Obrador deployed 8,700 soldiers to key areas along human smuggling routes in the country.

80 Unaccompanied Migrant Minors Found in Arizona Desert

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 80 unaccompanied alien children along with approximately 50 other migrant families in the Arizona desert. Human smugglers crossed the migrants in a section of the border that is secured only by vehicle barriers.

Tucson Sector agents patrolling the border near San Miguel, Arizona, during the early morning hours of Wednesday encountered a large group of migrants who illegally crossed the border. The group of more than 130 migrants crossed the border over an outdated section composed only of a vehicle barrier, a tweet from Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin shows.

Joe Biden ‘Infrastructure’ Bill Includes $20 Billion Fund to Destroy ‘Racist’ Highways

President Joe Biden’s proposed $2.5 trillion infrastructure bill includes funds to actually destroy infrastructure, according to reports.

The White House cited the Claiborne Expressway in New Orleans and Interstate 81 in Syracuse, New York, as two problematic highways going through black neighborhoods they would support destroying.

Biden’s mention of the Claiborne Expressway thrilled New Orleans activist Amy Stelly who has worked to destroy the highway.

“I’m floored,” she said to the Washington Post. “I’m thrilled to hear President Biden would call out the Claiborne Expressway as a racist highway.”

The White House fact sheet plans $20 billion to “reconnect neighborhoods” suffering from current infrastructure and make sure all new projects “advance racial equity and environmental justice.”

The concept of the injustice of racist infrastructure continues spreading throughout the Biden administration as they work towards racial equity across government.

“Black and brown neighborhoods have been disproportionately divided by highway projects or left isolated by the lack of adequate transit and transportation resources,” Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg wrote on social media in December, promising to focus energy on “righting these wrongs.”

In March, Buttigieg’s department sent a letter asking Texas to pause an interstate expansion in Houston while they investigated racial justice complaints.

During his Senate confirmation hearings in January, Buttigeg promised to fight racial injustice in infrastructure.

“I also recognize that at their worst, misguided policies and missed opportunities in transportation can reinforce racial and economic inequality by dividing or isolating neighborhoods and undermining government’s basic role of empowering Americans to thrive,” Buttigieg said in his opening statement.

20,000 Illegal Boat Migrants Projected to Land in the UK This Year: Report

Britain is on pace for 20,000 illegal boat migrants to land in 2021, more than doubling last year’s already record-setting numbers, as another 140 illegal aliens were brought ashore on Tuesday.

According to the Daily Telegraph, some 1,400 illegal migrants have landed on British shores this year. The numbers are nearly three times as many as reached the United Kingdom during the same time period last year, which stood at 514.

Analysis conducted by the paper projected that if current trends continue, then 20,000 boat migrants could land in the first year of Britain’s independence from the European Union, despite pledges from the government that the issue would be solved following Brexit.

Approximately 140 boat migrants successfully crossed the English Channel from France on Tuesday, and a further 50 are believed to have made it to the country on small rubber boats Wednesday morning, the Daily Mail reported. The numbers on Tuesday were the second-highest of the year after 183 landed in a single day earlier this month.

Commenting on the growing migrant crisis in the Enlgish Channel, Migration Watch UK chairman Alp Mehmet said: “More than double the number have crossed this year as came during January to March 2020. These dangerous crossings will continue and go on increasing until it is made abundantly clear that the pathway to entering the UK illegally in order to claim asylum is closed.”

The former director-general of the Border Force, Tony Smith, said that people-smugglers have used the news of Home Secretary Priti Patel’s proposed immigration reforms to encourage prospective illegal migrants to set sail before any changes are enacted.

“There will be an acceleration in the activity to get in under the wire before the Government does whatever it is going to do,” Mr Smith said.

The Rutherford Institute had filed a friend-of-the-court brief arguing that individuals have a First Amendment right to collect information about government activities, which includes the right to record police carrying out their duties in public.

“Police body cameras will never serve as an effective check on police misconduct as long the cameras can be turned on and off at will and the footage remains inaccessible to the public. However, technology makes it possible for Americans to record their own interactions with police and they have every right to do so without fear of intimidation or arrest,” said constitutional attorney John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute and author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People. “Mobile devices have proven to be increasingly powerful reminders to police that they are not all powerful. The ability to record police interactions in public provides for greater accountability when it comes to police interactions with the citizenry and should be preserved as a necessary right of the people.”

In August of 2014, Levi Frasier saw two plainclothes Denver police officers in the process of arresting a man suspected of drug dealing. Frasier moved about 15 feet away and began recording the incident with a tablet. The recording showed the police pinning the suspect’s head to the pavement and punching him in the face numerous times, causing his head to repeatedly and violently hit the pavement. One of the police saw Frasier and called out “Camera!” Frasier continued to record the incident as the suspect’s girlfriend approached the police, only to be grabbed by the leg and pulled to the ground by one of the officers. Frasier then stopped recording and took the tablet to his truck, which was parked nearby. One of the police followed and ordered Frasier to come back to the police car with the video and his identification. Although Frasier showed the police his license, he denied having any recording of the incident, fearing that the police would make it “disappear.” One officer then told Frasier, “Well, we could do this the easy way, or we could do this the hard way,” gesturing toward the back seat of the squad car, which Frasier interpreted as a threat to take him to jail if he did not produce the video. The police surrounded Frasier and repeatedly asked for the video, holding and questioning him for about 30 minutes. Frasier eventually produced the tablet and the police searched through its digital files, but did not find the video. The video was later released to the media, which resulted in an internal investigation of the incident by the Denver Police Department. Frasier then brought a lawsuit asserting that police retaliated against him for exercising his First Amendment right to record the actions of the officers. After the trial court upheld Frasier’s claim, the police filed an appeal seeking dismissal of the lawsuit, arguing that the public’s right to record police was not clearly established.

Georgia Republicans Vote to Cancel Delta Tax Break After Airline CEO Blasts “Unacceptable” Voter ID Law

Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian issued a company-wide memo this week blasting the newly passed voter ID laws in Georgia.

Why is the Delta CEO even inserting himself in this matter?

Bastian said the bill is “unacceptable” and does not match Delta’s values.

The new law requires a photo ID to obtain an absentee ballot.

Democrats say this is racist and called it the modern version of Jim Crow laws.

Bastian agrees.

“Last week, the Georgia legislature passed a sweeping voting reform act that could make it harder for many Georgians, particularly those in our Black and Brown communities, to exercise their right to vote,” Bastian wrote. “After having time to now fully understand all that is in the bill, coupled with discussions with leaders and employees in the Black community, it’s evident that the bill includes provisions that will make it harder for many underrepresented voters, particularly Black voters, to exercise their constitutional right to elect their representatives. That is wrong.”

Apparently it’s not racist that a photo ID is required to board a Delta plane.

Georgia House Republicans on Wednesday night retaliated against Delta’s CEO and passed a bill to repeal a tax break on jet fuel.

House Speaker David Ralston (R) on Thursday morning said the vote to repeal the tax break was in response to Bastian’s memo.

“They like our public policy when we’re doing things that benefit them, and they reap the rewards of those benefits and then turn around and do this,” Ralston said, according to Georgia Public Broadcasting. “As all of you know, I can’t resist a country boy line or two, you don’t feed a dog that bites your hand. You’ve got to keep that in mind.”

The bill did not pass the Georgia senate so the tax break is still in place.

High court: Charlottesville can remove Confederate statues

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) — Virginia’s highest court ruled Thursday that the city of Charlottesville can take down two statues of Confederate generals, including one of Robert E. Lee that became the focus of a violent white nationalist rally in 2017.

The state Supreme Court overturned a Circuit Court decision in favor of a group of residents who sued to block the city from taking down the Lee statue and a nearby monument to fellow Gen. Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson. Charlottesville’s city council voted to remove both.White supremacist and neo-Nazi organizers of the August 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville said they went to the city to defend the statue of Lee. They clashed with counterprotesters before a man plowed his car into a crowd of people, killing a woman.

The Jackson statue was erected in Jackson Park in 1921 and the Lee statue was erected in Lee Park in 1924. In 1918, the city had accepted a resident’s offer to donate land for parks for both statutes.

In Thursday’s decision, State Supreme Court Justice Bernard Goodwyn said both statues were erected long before the passage of a law regulating the “disturbance of or interference with” war memorials or monuments.

“In other words, (the law) did not provide the authority for the City to erect the Statues, and it does not prohibit the City from disturbing or interfering with them,” Goodwyn wrote.

S. Braxton Puryear, one of the attorneys for the residents who sued, said he hadn’t read the ruling yet and couldn’t immediately comment on it. Frederick W. Payne, a Charlottesville lawyer who was listed as the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit seeking to block the statue’s removal, also declined comment Thursday.

A spokesman for the city of Charlottesville didn’t immediately respond to a call and email seeking comment on the court’s ruling.

The Virginia Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Inc., and The Monument Fund, Inc., also were plaintiffs in the lawsuit filed against the city in March 2017.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys argued that a law enacted by the state’s General Assembly in 1997 prevented the city from removing the two Confederate statues. The city argued that the law couldn’t be applied retroactively and did not apply to statues that cities erected before 1997.

The state Supreme Court agreed with the city, concluding there is no language in the statute that demonstrates the General Assembly intended for the law to apply to monuments or memorials that cities erected before 1997.

“The circuit court erred in failing to interpret the statute according to its plain language meaning,” Goodwyn wrote.

The state Supreme Court also ruled that the circuit court erred in ordering the city to pay for the plaintiffs’ attorneys’ fees and costs.
