Two E4Bs up flying at the same time; interesting only bc of the uptick in strategic chatter and the relative lack of movement of the E4 fleet over the last week.
Actually an increase in the normal level of strategic birds (SIGINT/command and control) today over CONUS and other areas, like Ukraine and Persian Gulf.
They're running transponders so they want to be seen.
Very busy day as well for the general military aviation scene. Usual around midday is in the 200's…busy in the 300's…very busy over 400 airborne at any given time. We went over 400 about 10 minutes ago.
A lot of training…a whole lot, and what appears to quarterly requals, at least to this old flight instructor's senses.
Actually refreshing to the military both getting sharp and staying sharp. Now if we can just get them to kick the commies out, that'd be great.
If the defense lets this kind of thing go on, they're setting themselves up for a mistrial, if they already haven't. Cute and court don't mix.
