There was a time when Big Tech seemed to adhere to the concepts of freedom of speech and freedom of thought. We were fools to believe they were sincere.

The “purge” by Big Tech of conservative and Christian voices has been well-documented over the past three months, but it’s not a new issue. It hit mainstream when President Trump’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were banned, but this has been going on to a lesser degree for years. That’s why sites like Gab, Parler, and Clouthub were formed. They have become three of the primary “freer speech” alternatives, especially for those who have been stifled by Big Tech.

Jeff Brain, founder of Clouthub.com, appeared on the One America News show “The Real Story” to discuss how Big Tech is now targeting religion and why we need to expand all-inclusive platforms. He noted that there have been all of these hearings on Capitol Hill, but very little seems to ever come out of it.

“Well, we have been watching these hearings for years and unfortunately we haven’t seen any action taken,” Brain said. “It is time to take action. Whether it’s the invasion of our privacy, the silencing of our voices, or even the issue of mental health… it’s time for them to stop the talk and start to take action.”

Scientists have found evidence that some face masks that are on sale and being used by members of the general public are laced with toxic chemicals.

Preliminary tests have revealed traces of a variety of compounds which are heavily restricted for both health and environmental reasons.

This includes formaldehyde, a chemical known to cause watery eyes; a burning sensations in the eyes, nose, and throat; coughing; wheezing; and nausea.

Experts are concerned that the presence of these chemicals in masks which are being worn for prolonged periods of time could cause unintended health issues.

Evidence obtained by Ecotextile News and shared with MailOnline reveals that although face masks should meet specific standards, not all do.

Masks have been mandated in much of the world as they are a highly effective way of preventing transmission of coronavirus particles.

But face coverings designed for use by the general public are not regulated and fail to meet the same standards as medical grade PPE.

Cuomo was paid $4M for his book bragging about his handling of the pandemic (while his office covered up nursing home deaths)

Andrew Cuomo was paid more than $4 million for his controversial book bragging about his handling of the pandemic at the same time that his office was hiding COVID-19 nursing home deaths, according to a report.

Sources told the New York Times the embattled governor of New York state landed the seven-figure deal with publisher Crown for his memoir 'American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic'.

The outlet, which obtained emails about the book and an early draft, revealed Cuomo began writing the book in mid-June with an early draft written by early July - which closely coincided with the finalizing and the release of the state health department's July 6 report into COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes.

It transpired this year that the report had grossly undercounted the deaths with Cuomo's office altering the 9,844 death toll detailed in the first draft to release a lower number of 6,432 to the public.

Cuomo also took aim at New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio in an early draft of his book, branding him 'one of the worst mayors in modern history' in a three-page long rant about his longtime foe which was cut from the final version.

The governor released his book on October 13, praising his own leadership during the COVID-19 crisis, despite the pandemic being far from over.

Since then, Cuomo's reputation has rapidly unraveled as he is facing investigations into both the COVID-19 nursing home deaths scandal and allegations he sexually harassed multiple women.

The NY Times tied the timing of the book being written with the alteration of state data on COVID-19 nursing home deaths.

An email dated June 27 shows Cuomo staffer Stephanie Benton asked an unidentified assistant to print pages of a draft copy of the book and take them to the Executive Mansion to give to the governor.

The same day, Cuomo's top aide Melissa DeRosa - who last month appeared to admit the state hid the death data from the Trump administration - held an impromptu teleconference with other top aides to talk about the state health department's report.

Then, on July 5, another female staffer was sent an email asking her to print out a 224-page draft of the book and take it to the Executive Mansion.

This draft was entitled 'MDR edits', in reference to DeRosa, who is said to have attended publisher meetings and helped Cuomo with writing his early drafts.

The very next day - on July 6 - the state health department report was released.

Richard Azzopardi, a senior adviser to the governor, denied any connection between the writing of the memoir and the health department report in a statement to the Times.

'There is no connection between the report and this outside project, period,' Azzopardi said Wednesday.

'And any suggestion otherwise is just wrong.'

Azzopardi said the July 6 report was not intended to be a 'full accounting' of the nursing home deaths toll but was to investigate whether the administration's policies 'contributed to increased deaths'.

The report all but cleared Cuomo and his administration of fault over its March directive to send COVID-19 infected patients back to nursing homes with non-COVID patients.

Reddit joins Twitter in protecting pedophiles who post exploitative depictions of young children

A Reddit user who identifies as “trans” was caught spreading pornographic drawings of children under the age of 10 on the platform, and moderators at the site reportedly allowed and supported this illegal activity.

The trans pedophile had been sharing the disgusting images on the r/LesbianGaming subreddit, which is moderated by people who apparently see nothing wrong with Reddit users sharing sexually explicit images of underage children with others.

One former Reddit moderator recently came forward to confess that other moderators on the platform sought to protect the illegal activity by covering for it. The r/LesbianGaming subreddit was eventually shut down, but not without a fight.

“There were a lot of horrific rumors about how the past owner did a lot of horrible things,” the former moderator says about what went on in the channel.

“Right off the bat I called out a bunch of security issues, the main one being they allowed you to have access to NSFW (not safe for work) channels WITHOUT needing to verify your age.”

The former moderator went on to explain that NSFW channels on Reddit have a built-in age restriction of “18+.” However, the r/LesbianGaming subreddit was not set up with an age restriction, allowing people of any age to access its pornographic content.

“So right off the rip there were issues with the possibility of minors having access to be able to see and post nude photos.”

The former Reddit moderator who came forward with this damning information says that he or she was ultimately compelled to step down from the position due to what was taking place.

“I felt it was important to explain that the mods ALL had access to her Reddit posts and profile and chose to willingly ignore these images and ban ANYONE who spoke out against the fact that it’s disturbing,” the former moderator added.

“They then decided to make a post slandering my character and at first I didn’t do anything because I was afraid I would be alone but so many people have come forward with proof of this person willingly admitting that she enjoys these kinds of images.”

Homeless Shelter Cleared to House Illegal Aliens, Dozens Infected with COVID-19

As if the illegal immigrant crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border were not bad enough, homeless Americans have been booted from a temporary shelter in southern California to make room for scores of migrants, dozens of them infected with COVID-19. Since the Biden administration rolled out the welcome mat, thousands of illegal aliens have entered the country, most of them minors classified as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) by the feds. Now the government is scrambling to meet its legal obligation of caring for them at facilities nationwide operated by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

In this case, homeless residents were apparently cleared out of the San Diego Convention Center prematurely to accommodate up to 1,450 UAC, though city officials claim the decision to stop using the facility for the homeless predates the illegal alien crunch. Homeless San Diegans have been housed at the center for about a year as part of an initiative to halt the spread of COVID-19. The San Diego City Council voted to extend the program through March, but evidently it was cut short to bring in the illegal immigrants. The city will relocate about 500 homeless individuals to two local shelters, according to a local news report. “The convention center will be used to house migrants through July and will be operated by the federal government and the county,” the story says.

So far there are about 743 UAC at the convention center, according to government figures cited in a local news report this week. At least 82 of the migrant teenagers have tested positive for COVID-19. Just this week 247 girls arrived at the makeshift shelter and of that group, 32 have COVID-19, the article states. “Another girl who was placed in the COVID exposed group contracted the virus,” the news story reveals, adding that “officials said none of the minors who tested positive have needed to be hospitalized.” An HHS spokesperson named Bonnie Preston is cited in several news stories saying that the majority of the girls tested positive for the virus before arriving in San Diego and six tested positive upon arrival. The HHS spokesperson further reveals that about 250 UAC will arrive every other day until the convention center reaches its capacity.

Federal Officials Raise Concerns About White House Pressure to Move Migrant Children

Drastic measures under consideration as Customs and Border Protection pushes to move migrant kids to Army bases, questionable facilities

Federal officials are raising concerns about rising pressure from the White House to relocate unaccompanied minors to holding sites that those officials warn could pose a danger to the children—and violate a 1997 legal settlement that required the government to house minors in "safe and sanitary" facilities.

The latest indication of the bleak situation came Wednesday, according to sources familiar with the situation, when the Office of Refugee Resettlement, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, told officials that the bureau is grappling with a White House directive to send kids to Fort Bliss, an El Paso, Texas, army base that is under construction, and to an emergency influx center in San Antonio, Texas.

Some officials warned against the move, arguing that it would "result in children sitting on buses" and "extremely dangerous ratios at the sites affected," referring to the ratio of children to adults. Those officials cited the 1997 Flores agreement between immigration groups and the federal government that requires immigration agencies to house unaccompanied minors in facilities that are "safe and sanitary."

"We are not going to speculate on what might be or not be internal deliberations," HHS spokesman Mark Weber told the Washington Free Beacon, adding that "additional capacity is urgently needed to manage both enhanced COVID-19 mitigation strategies and the increasing numbers" of migrants.

The Biden administration has been grappling from the outset with a mounting crisis on the border as the federal government struggles to handle a surge of unaccompanied minors streaming into the United States from Mexico.

Health secretary Xavier Becerra has in recent weeks been casting about for a way to beef up the number of federal officials at the border, and, according to a senior government official, was considering an agency mandate that would have required 200 HHS employees to temporarily relocate to the Southern border to help stem the migrant influx.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, however, Becerra was leaning instead toward calling for 300 agency volunteers to manage cases virtually, the official said.

Consideration of both plans came after the health secretary fell short of a promise to President Joe Biden to recruit 1,000 volunteers from across federal agencies to take paid details to the border. The would-be relocated employees were to be drawn primarily from the Administration for Children and Families, a division of HHS responsible, in part, for addressing the needs of "vulnerable populations," including migrants and refugees.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment. Customs and Border Protection referred inquiries to HHS.

The cascade of events offers a window into the increasingly desperate measures the Biden administration is considering as it struggles to process the influx of children to Border Patrol detention centers. Nearly 5,800 child migrants were housed at such facilities on Sunday, more than double the June 2019 record of 2,600.

AOC floats ‘reparations’ for some migrant families, rips Biden admin’s handling of migrants

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday called for “reparations” for some migrant families and called the conditions at the border “barbaric” and “horrifying”.

During a virtual town hall Wednesday night, the self-described democratic socialist claimed that families who were separated under former President Donald Trump are “owed reparations. Period.” Although, she didn’t specify how much money the reparations should amount to.

Moreover, Ocasio-Cortez condemned the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis.

“As we’ve seen there are arrivals and undocumented children–rather unaccompanied children that have come at the border and this had lead to completely inhumane and unacceptable, horrifying conditions of children in CBP [Customs and Border Protection] custody. And it’s unacceptable and it’s horrifying,” the congresswoman said.

When the administration opened the first facility for migrant children back in February, she criticized the move, saying at the time: “This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay – no matter the administration or party.”

Wednesday night, Ocasio-Cortez also said what’s going on at overcrowded migrant detention facilities is “a result of the fact that we have built our immigration system on the same principles and scaffolding as our carceral system.”

“The fact that this keeps happening over and over and over again is a political failure by both parties,” she said.

However, the congresswoman added that she didn’t want to draw “false equivalents” between the actions of the Biden and Trump administrations

“What is happening here is not the same as what happened during the Trump administration where they took babies out of the arms of mothers and deported their families and permanently traumatized these children,” Ocasio-Cortez said, going on to say that President Joe Biden’s policies toward families are “simply not the same” as Trump’s.

“Both are these things are barbaric and wrong, but when you rip a baby out of hands of a mother, you cannot draw the same comparison and anyone who is trying to do that is doing a profound disservice to the cause of justice,” she added.

Houthi Suicide Drones Hit ´Sensitive’ Targets In Saudi Capital

On April 1, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) announced that they had attacked several “sensitive” and “important” targets in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni group, said that the targets were struck with four suicide drones. The spokesman claimed that the attack was successful, without providing any further details.

“Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege are ongoing,” the spokesman said, calling the attack a “legitimate response”.

Aviation observers noted a disturbance in civilian flights over Riyadh and other parts of the Kingdom. This usually indicates that an attack is taking place.

The Saudi-led coalition has not commented on the Houthis claims, yet. While the silence of the coalition is a sign that the attack was successful, no explosions were reported by Saudi citizens on social media.

The attack on Riyadh is the most recent in a series of operations by the Houthis against high-value targets deep inside Saudi Arabia.

Less than a week ago, the Houthis attacked targets in Ras Tanura, Rabigh, Yanbu and Jizan, ‘Asir, Najran as well as Kind Abdulaziz Air Base with 18 drones and eight missiles. The large attack, codenamed “Operation National Day of Resilience,” was meant to commemorate six years of the Saudi war on Yemen.

Even Terrorists Don’t Want AstraZeneca Vaccine

On March 30th, al-Shabaab terrorists issued a statement rejecting the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for Somalia.

They cited its ‘ineffective and adverse’ side effects.

A statement released by the group warned Somalis against administering the AstraZeneca vaccine saying it is “deadly and unsafe.”

The statement linked the recent move by dozens of countries including European nations like Germany, Italy and France to reject the vaccine because of its side effects.

“These are countries with far better medical resources than the apostate Somali regime, which doesn’t even have qualified medical personnel or laboratories to assess the efficiency, safety or performance of the vaccine,” the statement read.

“Do now allow your children and family members to be used as guinea pigs in the race to develop a potent vaccine for the coronavirus pandemic. Do not allow your family to be used as subjects in the experimentation of the safety of the AstraZeneca vaccine at a time when a countless number of people have died, and hundreds of others have developed severe adverse reactions, including the formation of blood clots, as a result of administering the vaccine,” the statement continued.

Experts probing links between the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine and blood clots have found no specific risk factors, including age, but are carrying out further analysis, the EU’s drug regulator said on March 31st.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said however that its safety committee expected to issue an “updated recommendation” on the controversial vaccine.

AstraZeneca’s vaccine has got so much bad publicity due to its alleged adverse side effect that it’s even changing the name of the vaccine.

The British-Swedish pharmaceutical AstraZeneca announced that the COVID-19 vaccine, in conjunction with the British University of Oxford, has been renamed Vaxzevria.

The name change was approved on March 25 following a request from the company and was announced on the website of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and that of the Swedish National Medicines Agency (Läkemedelsverket).

The new name does not imply a change in the formula of the vaccine, according to the Läkemedelsverket, but there will be a new labeling and packaging of the drug.

For its part, the EMA recalled that the Vaxzevria vaccine is safe in people over 18 years of age, but that it has reduced its effectiveness from 79 to 76%.

The name change is just a hope that most people don’t pay attention and would simply get vaccinated with AstraZeneca’s product, without questioning it further.

U.S. State Department Lists Ukraine’s Plentiful Human Rights Abuses In 2020

NASHVILLE — An investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations resulted in a federal indictment for 27 individuals accused of committing crimes relating to conspiracy to distribute illicit drugs.

The acting U.S. attorney for the middle district of Tennessee made the announcement March 31 in Nashville.

In total, 37 individuals have been charged in the large-scale conspiracy to distribute heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine that began as early as 2018 and was orchestrated from within the Tennessee state prison system. Other charges resulting from the investigation include kidnapping, money laundering, making threats by electronic communication, and firearms violations.

“HSI agents worked in collaboration with the numerous federal, state and local law enforcement agencies involved in this multi-year OCDETF investigation, to bring federal charges against individuals alleged to have ties to MS-13, Sur-13 and other street gangs,” said Jerry C Templet, Jr. special agent in charge, HSI Nashville. “This conspiracy, which was orchestrated by an inmate within the state of Tennessee prison system, involved the large-scale distribution of heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine, all dangerous drugs that threaten the safety of our communities. The organization was also alleged to have participated in numerous other violent crimes.”

This ongoing multi-year Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation is the outcome of a previous request by the Tennessee Department of Correction for federal law enforcement assistance to address criminal activity occurring within their system. The numerous federal, state and local law enforcement agencies involved include: Homeland Security Investigations; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; IRS Criminal Investigations; U.S. Postal Inspection Service; FBI; TDOC-Office of Investigations & Compliance; and others.

The alleged leader of the organization, Humberto Morales, aka Pelon, 29, of Columbia, Tennessee, has been incarcerated since 2014. Morales routinely obtained contraband cell phones smuggled into the prison facilities where he was housed, which he used, along with encrypted communication services such as WhatsApp, to orchestrate activities of the drug distribution network, order acts of violence against individuals, and direct the flow of cash from drug sales between middle Tennessee and Mexico. Drug proceeds were also used to pay co-conspirators, pay drug shipment expenses, bail and legal services, and purchase firearms.

The resulting indictments and other court documents allege that the organization had ties to MS-13, Sur-13, and other street gangs and distributed tens of thousands of fentanyl-laced pills; multiple kilograms of fentanyl and heroin; over 50 pounds of methamphetamine, which was often 95-99 percent pure (commonly referred to as “ice”); as well as smaller quantities of cocaine and marijuana. It also alleges that this well-orchestrated conspiracy is linked to at least one murder, horrific assaults, and multiple other crimes of violence.

Notable acts of violence associated with the conspiracy include the severing of a woman’s hand in November 2019 as punishment for losing drug proceeds. During this incident, the woman was kidnapped, driven around Nashville, and then a hatchet was used to chop off one of her hands, before leaving her lying on the street. This incident was recorded on video and sent via encrypted communication on a cell phone. Another incident involved a hitman for the organization who, at the direction of Morales, cut off part of his own pinky finger to prove his continued loyalty to the organization after he lost or stole a small quantity of drugs.

Sarah Palin reveals COVID diagnosis, encourages mask wearing

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is encouraging Americans to wear masks after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

The 57-year-old former vice presidential candidate revealed the diagnosis in an interview Wednesday with People magazine, telling the outlet that she and members of her family likely contracted the virus through one of her children.

“[O]ne of my daughters awoke to having lost her sense of taste and smell [and] immediately had a positive COVID test,” the 2008 GOP running mate said, adding that the unidentified daughter “then was quarantined in isolation.”

Palin’s youngest son, Trig, 12, was the next one to fall ill, she told the magazine.

“I then observed symptoms in my son Trig, who curiously is the most enthusiastic mask-wearer, and after our numerous negative tests over the year, he tested positive,” she said.

“Children with special needs are vulnerable to COVID ramifications, so with a high fever he was prescribed azithromycin, which really seemed to help, and I increased amounts of vitamins I put in his puréed food,” she continued.

Trig has Down syndrome, which occurs in individuals born with an extra copy of their 21st chromosome.

Ex-Parler CEO John Matze Launches GoFundMe, Says Parler May Not Indemnify Him From Congressional Investigation

"I am now in litigation with Parler and others over what happened next"

Former Parler CEO John Matze has launched a GoFundMe for his personal legal expenses after his abrupt exit from the beleaguered social media platform, claiming that Parler has indicated they may not indemnify him from the cost of a Congressional investigation into the platform.

“I have launched a GoFundMe in order help my family through the Congressional investigation which Parler has indicated they may not indemnify me from as well as the legal fees associated with my departure of Parler,” Matze wrote on Twitter and Telegram Monday, accompanied by a link to his GoFundMe page.

“I am now in litigation with Parler and others over what happened next,” Matze’s GoFundMe page states. “I also am likely heading into a congressional investigation into Parler, and it is uncertain whether Parler will indemnify me for the inevitable costs of defending this investigation.. I believe in transparency and Congress has asked for information that the public also wants to know. I plan to cooperate fully with Congress and tell the truth, but with legal counsel.”

Matze reportedly was stripped of his shares in Parler shortly after being fired, and was then harshly criticized by Parler shareholder Dan Bongino.

“If he wants to get into a battle over here of narratives, he is going to lose, because there is this thing getting in the way of that story he keeps telling and it’s called the truth,” Bongino said of Matze. “I’m really pissed off right now because that is absolutely not what happened. The relationship between Parler and the CEO did not work out because the CEO’s vision is not ours. Is everybody clear on that?”

The Congressional investigation into Parler, based on dubious claims that platform users “incited an insurrection” on January 6, has been criticized for its nakedly partisan intent by commentators across the political spectrum.

5,000 Foreigners Flagged by China in Advanced Surveillance Sweep: Another Data Leak

Over 5,000 foreigners were tracked during visits to mainland China between 2017 to 2018, according to the latest data leak from a Chinese institution. Some individuals on the list say they were only in China for a day or were transiting through Shanghai.

One cybersecurity expert says the latest data leak is unique in its increased sophistication, including the use of facial recognition and the collection of passport IDs.

The information was compiled by the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, a local level branch of Beijing’s main surveillance body, the Ministry of Public Security.

The data leak contains over 1.1 million surveillance records and includes information on 25,000 “persons of interest” in China, and 5,000 foreigners, including government officials and employees of Mitsubishi and U.S. manufacturing giant 3M.

Arizona Senate Hires 4 Firms to Audit 2.1 Million Ballots From 2020 Election

The GOP-led Arizona state Senate on Wednesday announced that four firms have been hired to audit election results and recount the 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County’s 2020 general election to ensure the legitimacy of President Joe Biden’s win.

The announcement from Sen. Karen Fann (R-Ariz.) comes just weeks after Arizona legislators ordered a recount of the ballots from the state’s most populous county. The state Senate released a statement on March 18 saying that it will conduct a “broad and detailed” audit, adding that it will test voting machines, scan ballots, look for IT breaches, and perform a hand count.

Recounts are something state law doesn’t allow except in narrow circumstances, but a judge’s ruling (pdf) said the Senate has oversight powers that allow it to do whatever election review it wants.

The independent audit will be conducted by four out-of-state companies; Wake Technology Services, CyFIR, Digital Discovery, and Cyber Ninjas. A report is expected to be released in about 60 days, a press release from the state Senate says.

The Senate said Florida-based cyber security company Cyber Ninjas will be leading the audit, noting that it focuses on computer application security for financial services and government clients.

Wake Technology has performed hand-count audits in Pennsylvania and New Mexico, the Senate said, while CyFIR focuses on computer forensics and cyber attacks. According to Texas-based Digital Discovery’s website, it focuses on digital forensics.

“The audit will validate every area of the voting process to ensure the integrity of the vote,” the Senate said, adding, “The scope of work will include, but is not limited to, scanning all the ballots, a full manual recount, auditing the registration and votes cast, the vote counts, and the electronic voting system.”

The Senate said that leadership will not be directly involved in the process to maintain integrity and transparency.

Two separate forensic audits of last year’s election have already been conducted by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, however the state Senate maintains a separate audit must be carried out with a trusted group in order to restore faith in the voting system.

“Our people need to be assured that the Senate and Maricopa County can work together on this audit, to bring integrity to the election process,” Fann said in a statement. “As Board Chair [Jack] Sellers and County Recorder [Stephen] Richer wrote in the Arizona Republic ‘democracy cannot survive if its people do not believe elections are free and fair.’”

Fann previously told news outlets that pushing for a recount and audit of election results was “never about overturning the election, it was about the integrity of the Arizona election system.”

Chinese Telecom Firms Can Exploit ‘Glaring Loophole’ to Enter US Networks: FCC Commissioner

A Commissioner of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) is calling on the regulator to eliminate a “backdoor” that allows telecom firms with ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) access into the U.S. network.

The FCC last year banned U.S. firms from tapping into an $8.3 billion government fund to purchase equipment from Chinese telecom firms Huawei and ZTE after deeming them national security threats. But U.S. telecom carriers are still allowed to use private funds to purchase and use the same equipment, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr said during a virtual panel event hosted by Washington-based think tank CSIS on March 30.

“Once we’ve determined that Huawei or any other gear poses an unacceptable national security risk, it makes no sense to allow that exact same equipment to get purchased and inserted in our communications network,” said Carr.

“This isn’t just a concern for the military,” he said. “Everything that we do in modern society now runs on interconnected networks, from banking to transportation, even our power grids…If these networks are threatened, everything that we have come to rely on is threatened.”

In 2012, the Congressional Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence issued a report stating that “Huawei and ZTE cannot be trusted to be free of foreign state influence and thus pose a security threat to the United States and to our systems.”

U.S. officials have also warned that Chinese telecom companies like Huawei and ZTE have close ties with the CCP. Under China’s national security law, companies in China are required to cooperate with the CCP’s intelligence agencies when asked, which could include granting authorities access to and control of their data.

Huawei also has several hundred CCP committees embedded in its corporate structure, Nury Turkel, commissioner of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, said at the same event. When needed, Huawei and ZTE will follow the Party’s leadership and policies, according to Turkel.

WashPo: Biden Advisors Fear Infrastructure Investments May Help White Working-Class Men

The Washington Post is reporting that "people close to the White House" expressed concerns that investing in "major physical infrastructure investments" may help the "White working-class male worker."

Rather than focus on building bridges, roads and physical infrastructure, Biden's advisors instead told him to focus on "major caregiving investments," such as child care and public health care even if they don't "normally fall into [the] definition of infrastructure" because caregiving investments will disproportionately help "minorities and women."

Democrats may use the parliamentary procedure known as reconciliation to approve an infrastructure package with a narrow majority that would not require Republican votes, the same way they approved the coronavirus relief bill. Bill Hoagland, senior vice president at the Bipartisan Policy Center, citing conversations with Senate Democratic staffers, said: "The difficulty is all the advocacy groups have seen the possibility of using reconciliation to move their agendas [for] things that do not normally fall into definition of infrastructure – child care; public health care. The moderates and the center will say, 'Wait a minute; let's deal with those through the normal appropriations process.'"

Some people close to the White House said they feel that the emphasis on major physical infrastructure investments reflects a dated nostalgia for a kind of White working-class male worker. In private discussions with the White House National Economic Council, the Council of Economic Advisers and the Domestic Policy Council, SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry urged the administration to follow through on its promise to approve major investments in the care economy.

Henry said she reminded the White House of promises Biden had made in person to low-wage service workers – disproportionately minorities and women who also helped elect him in the fall.

On National Equal Pay Day, Council of Economic Advisers economists Cecilia Rouse and Heather Boushey talked at the White House media briefing about the need for major caregiving investments.

On a private Zoom call earlier this month, economists Heidi Shierholz, Darrick Hamilton and Larry Katz presented Rouse, Boushey and other senior Biden officials with evidence that federal investments in care work would do more to generate jobs and economic growth than physical infrastructure, Shierholz said.

"We're up against a gender and racial bias that this work is not worth as much as the rubber, steel and auto work of the past century," Henry said. "The key job right now is we have to in the public imagination and in the congressional debate widen the lens, so that people understand that investment in caregiving is an investment in infrastructure."

The $2 trillion infrastructure plan Biden unveiled on Wednesday spends less than 6 percent on roads and bridges.

More money is spent on building "500,000 electric vehicle charging stations" and "electrify 20% of school buses and electrify the federal fleet" ($174 billion) than on modernizing bridges, highways, roads and upgrading air travel, airports, waterways and coastal ports ($157 billion).

In contrast, $400 billion the single biggest chunk of the plan goes towards "caregiving" as his advisors requested.

Kids in Migrant Camps Engaging in Sexual Activity, Sent to Hotels With Unvetted Caregivers

Children, even brothers and sisters, are reportedly engaged in sexual acts with each other in the migrant facilities housing thousands of illegal aliens in McCallen, Texas.

The American people would be shocked to see the inhumane conditions inside the facilities used to house thousands of migrants who continue to flood across the border, a source from inside the camp, who wishes to remain anonymous, warned InfoWars host Owen Shroyer.

“An anonymous source from inside a big illegal immigration facility is telling us that the children are engaging in sexual acts with one another, and brothers and sisters are engaging in sexual acts with one another. And, children are basically masturbating and doing sexual acts, which of course is a phenomenon, very odd that this would be going on,” Shroyer reports. “Not normal behavior, unless of course, they’re being subjected to molestation and rape and other sexual things on the journey.

Workers inside the facility are now separating the children from each other to ward off the promiscuity, Shroyer learned after staking out the camp along the devolving U.S. Mexico border for several hours.

“Now, we know that that is going on, but now it’s just happening blatantly, rampantly, and the people inside the facilities have to separate these kids because they are reenacting what’s been done to them on the trip with their brothers and sisters,” he said. “I mean, this is so diabolical. This is so heartbreaking that this is going on.”

After rescinding the emergency order used by former President Trump to construct a border wall, the Biden administration secured $86 million from the American taxpayer to contract hotels to house the migrants, Axios reported Saturday.

Biden also waived FBI background checks on caregivers of kids crossing the U.S.-Mexico border without their parents or legal guardians on Saturday, Associated Press reports.

It’s unclear whether the unaccompanied minors are being placed with caregivers who are their family, traffickers, or cartel, Shroyer cautions.

“We still don’t even know if these children are with their parents or who they’re with. And they’re getting put into hotels with these people,” he said. “So, who knows what could be happening to those kids. A woman goes in with three kids, she comes out with one. Would anybody even know? Would anybody even ask a question?”

The small break-off facility InfoWars staked out in McCallen, Texas, one of the dozens near the border, is now expanding, doubling in size.

The only force that can stop the invasion is the American People, Shroyer argues. “Biden’s open border policy is facilitating child molestation. I don’t know how it can get much worse than this,” he said. “Let’s just be real about how bad this is. Folks, I’m telling you, call your local senators. Get in front of the city council. Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyer Rips New Sex Trafficking Charges as ‘Shocking & Abuse of Power’

Ghislaine Maxwell’s legal team has hit back over her updated indictment, blasting it as “shocking, unfair, and an abuse of power” since it came too close to her trial scheduled for 12 July.

The British socialite’s lawyer, Bobbi Sternheim, accused prosecutors of “obvious tactical gamesmanship” by slapping two new charges, plus to the six previous ones, at such short notice, which, she said, could prompt her to ask for a delay of the proceedings to allow more time for her team to prepare.

Also, Sternheim noted, the new allegations would require “additional investigation” and new time-consuming motions, while she didn’t want Maxwell to stay in jail any longer than needed because of the “onerous” conditions in the Brooklyn federal prison where her defendant is being held.

“Her liberty interests now clash with her right to effective assistance of counsel”, the lawyer, who previously defended one of Osama Bin Laden’s henchmen, explained, stressing that the court “is aware of the extraordinary circumstances of Maxwell’s detention, its deleterious effect on her health and well-being and the realistic concern whether she will be strong enough to withstand the stress of trial.”

Sternheim recalled prosecutors stating at Maxwell’s first bail hearing last July that they had no plans to come along with a superseding indictment, with the presumption causing them to slate the trial for July.

The indictment’s updates include two new allegations brought against the socialite and Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend by a woman, who claimed Maxwell had hired her when she was 14.

The indictment claimed that Maxwell “groomed” the underage victim, identified as Minor Victim-4, to engage in sex with the convicted pedophile by candidly chatting about sexual matters and personal family issues with her.

Minor Victim- 4 brought “multiple females, including girls under the age of 18” to Epstein and was paid “hundreds of dollars in cash,” it is purported.

Maxwell’s legal team said that the socialite seeks to be arraigned on the new accusations in person after the dial-in line during a previous hearing was reportedly occupied, or rather hijacked by QAnon conspiracy theorists. Sternheim referred to that ill-fated hearing as a “debacle,” stressing that Maxwell is demanding a bail procedure where witnesses can directly testify on the “purported strength of the government's case.”

The updated indictment may also returns into the public spotlight two big names out of Jeffrey Epstein’s circle from the 2000s – the UK’s Prince Andrew and former US president Bill Clinton. Neither has been so far mentioned in the court files, but the new allegations may ostensibly implicate them in the widely scrutinized court case.

Maxwell was arrested in summer 2020, roughly a year after Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan prison cell while he was awaiting trial on new sex trafficking charges. He previously served a slightly abridged prison term for soliciting a minor for sex in 2008.

Counting the new allegations, Maxwell is to appear before court on eight federal charges.

Six of them, which include enticing underage children to be abused and perjury, could put her behind bars for up to 35 years, if she is ruled guilty. The 59-year-old has pleaded not guilty to the initial six counts of sex trafficking.

Ex-DOJ Official Claims Donald Trump in 'Serious Trouble' Over Alleged Role in Capitol Riot

The former POTUS faced impeachment over the allegations that he an angry mob to attack the Congress' building on 6 January with his unsubstantiated claims of election fraud. However, the US Senate acquitted Trump despite some Republicans still holding him responsible for the tragic events.

Former US President Donald Trump might face "serious trouble" because two Capitol Police officers have filed a lawsuit against him over his alleged role in provoking the 6 January riot, according Neal Katyal, a former acting Solicitor General for the Department of Justice, in an interview with MSNBC.

Officers James Blassingame and Sidney Hemby, who suffered wounds as a result of the actions of the violent mob storming the Capitol, filed the lawsuit earlier this week. They claim to have sustained physical and emotional injuries after Trump purportedly "directed the mob that stormed the Capitol […] by his words and conduct".

"If you could short Donald Trump right now, it would be a good time to do so," Katyal said.

The ex-DOJ employee went on to add that the lawsuit against Trump was not surprising and alleged that it was actually prompted by the comments of Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell in the wake of the former president's acquittal in the upper chamber of Congress.

"President Trump is still liable for everything he did while in office. He hasn't got away with anything yet. We have a criminal justice system in this country. We have civil litigation," McConnell said after the voting, in which he opposed charges against Trump.

Katyal, however, failed to elaborate what specific "serious trouble" the lawsuit could pose to the former president.

Trump faced accusations from Democrats, Big Tech companies and even some of the Republicans of inciting Capitol violence right after a number of his supporters stormed the Capitol, killing one police officer in the process. Trump himself urged his supporters not to use violence but dismissed insinuations that his unsubstantiated voter fraud claims contributed to their actions.

Regardless of that, the Democrats cooked up the second impeachment against Trump and passed it in the House, where they exercised control at the time. The Republicans opposed the impeachment and botched an attempt to remove Trump from the White House and subsequently ban him from holding office in the future. Most of that opposition, however, was based on a grey zone in the impeachment procedures, which did not explicitly state whether a former president can be put on trial by the Senate (the trial took place after Trump vacated the White House on 20 January 2021).

Feds Plan To Broadcast Government Propaganda To Streaming Platforms

NextGov recently reported that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) wants to have the ability to interrupt streaming platforms like YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Spotify and Pandora so they can broadcast "government safety alerts."

"Per the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the FCC is investigating redefining parts of the national Emergency Alert System, or EAS, and Wireless Emergency Alert System, or WEAS, including developing alerting requirements for online streaming platforms."

An emergency 9/11 Act has been transformed into a 2021 privacy destroying act. The Feds want the public's opinion on what they think about allowing government agents access to what Americans are watching on streaming services.

"The commission issued a notice of inquiry this month and will publish an official request for public comment Tuesday in the Federal Register to determine “whether it would be technically feasible for streaming services to complete each step that EAS participants complete under the commission’s rules in ensuring the end-to-end transmission of EAS alerts, including monitoring for relevant EAS alerts, receiving and processing EAS alerts, retransmitting EAS alerts, presenting EAS alerts in an accessible manner to relevant consumers, and testing,” according to the notice of inquiry."

NextGov claims that the FCC has a lot of work to do because it needs to overcome defining what constitutes a "streaming service", as you will see it really won't be much of a hurdle to overcome.

Apparently the Feds want to use something similar to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project which will allow authorities to play synchronized media streams like audio and video streams in a continuous way while those streams are being transmitted to the client over a data network.

TITLE XCII–Communication Matters of the 2021 NDAA Act gives the Feds immense leeway to broadcast government propaganda to all social media platforms. Section 9201 allows the FCC to create a "reliable emergency alert distribution improvement." (use keyword search "alert" to find the section.)

The new changes allows the President and the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Administration to issue government safety alerts. It also allows the government to create the State Emergency Communications Committee allowing state officials to issue local government warnings.

Section 9201 allows the president to disseminate, notify or alert the public of missile threats against the United States, or threats to public safety. (Whatever that might be.)

Where it starts to get interesting, or disturbing depending on your point of view, is section 9201 "Internet and Online Streaming Services Emergency Alert Examination"

It appears that government officials are worried that people are tuning out the mass media and watching less cable TV, thereby missing out on much of the government's version of events.

So how do they reach these people?

By designing a new Emergency Alert system that can interrupt streaming platforms of course.

"Study.–Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, and after providing public notice and opportunity for comment, the Commission shall complete an inquiry to examine the feasibility of updating the Emergency Alert System to enable or improve alerts to consumers provided through the internet, including through streaming services."

Giving government official's the ability to interrupt streaming services opens up a world of privacy concerns.

Alleged arsonist arrested after 3 fires at Masonic lodges in Metro Vancouver area

Off-duty officer confronted man with a jerry can leaving scene of Vancouver fire, police say

Vancouver police arrested a 42-year-old man suspected of arson in three fires at Masonic lodges in Metro Vancouver on Tuesday morning.

The arrest came after an off-duty police officer driving past the Masonic temple near Rupert Street and East 29th Avenue in Vancouver noticed a man walking away from the building as it burned, according to Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Const. Tania Visintin.

Video taken by a bystander shows flames licking at an entrance to the temple as a man carries a red jerrycan to the trunk of a black van. He is then confronted by the off-duty officer.

The man managed to get away but was then arrested just before 10 a.m. in Burnaby near North Fraser Way and Marine Way, about a 20-minute drive from the location of the last of the fires, according to police.

"He did a great job in stopping and speaking to this suspect," Visintin told reporters during a news conference, referring to the off-duty officer.

"He attempted to take the suspect into custody, a fight ensued, and the suspect was able to get away."

The Great Vaccine Scam: Even Establishment Experts and Scientists Admit the Jabs Are Ineffective

“New Covid vaccines needed globally within a year, say scientists,” reads the headline of a recent piece in the UK Guardian.

The article is based on a survey of pro-vaccine scientists in nearly thirty countries across the globe. Two thirds of these scientists thought that the time frame within which you will need a new shot is less than nine months.

Observes the Guardian:

“The grim forecast of a year or less comes from two-thirds of respondents, according to the People’s Vaccine Alliance, a coalition of organisations including Amnesty International, Oxfam, and UNAIDS, who carried out the survey of 77 scientists from 28 countries.”

If you are concerned about the vaccines, please pay close attention.

The Guardian’s report is an important one, because it indirectly reveals the truth about the current crop of the Covid-19 vaccines. Here is the hidden message: the vaccines being administered in millions of doses every day fail to confer adequate protection against Covid-19.

The obvious implication of these scientists’ statements is that the vaccines on offer are ineffective. About this there can now be no doubt, for if the vaccines were effective, these experts would not go around saying that people will have to be re-vaccinated within mere months of receiving their Covid shots. Only a few weeks ago these shots – you may remember – were being promoted as the answer to the pandemic and a ticket back to normality.

To compound the travesty, these scientists fail to tell us that there is every reason to believe that the new vaccines will be as ineffective as those that are being peddled at present.

The reason why the current vaccines are ineffective is because the virus that causes Covid-19 has mutated into a multitude of new variants. Some of these variants are sufficiently removed from the original strain to render the vaccines – which were aimed at that earlier version of the virus – useless. There have already been a number of cases where people came down with Covid even though they had been vaccinated against it. In a number of places around the world, the new variants have already become the dominant strains which makes the current batch of vaccines on the market largely obsolete.

That this type of virus mutates rapidly has always been known, which is why honest scientists have always warned that it is impossible to end this epidemic by vaccinations. Trying to beat this disease with inoculations is like playing cat and mouse, where we can never catch up with ever-new variants of the rapidly morphing virus. In other words, because of its nature, the virus will always be one step ahead in the vaccination game.

But this well-known fact did not dissuade the pharma companies and their allies in the scientific community and government from pursuing this predictably futile course of action. The reason for this is not difficult to see: money. The whole vaccination enterprise has proved to be tremendously profitable for those involved. The Pfizer vaccine, for example, is already the second highest revenue-generating drug in the world. According to an earlier piece in the Guardian, Covid-19 vaccines have “created a global market worth tens of billions of dollars in annual sales for some pharmaceutical companies.”

Former Trump chief of staff wants to know why Dr. Fauci isn't saying something about the COVID dangers of the border crisis

Curiously quiet

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser, has been more than happy to speak his mind on a multitude of topics whenever he believes there might be even the most tangential coronavirus connection.

He has warned against going to holiday gatherings, attending sporting events, living life without face masks even if vaccinated, allowing maskless kids to play together, and anything else that tickles his fancy.

But he has been strangely silent about the current border crisis, where our Border Patrol is being overrun by thousands of illegal aliens surging into the U.S. The migrant crisis has raised COVID-19 questions in the minds of many observers.

How many of these illegals are positive for the virus? Is our government even bothering to test them? Have they released known COVID-positive migrants into the country?

It turns out that thousands of migrants have been released into the U.S. without evidence of ever having submitted to a COVID-19 test, the New York Post reported.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention even changed its COVID protocol guidelines to allow the Biden administration to house illegal immigrant children in shelters at 100% capacity — and more.

And at least one mayor of a U.S. border town has repeatedly sounded the alarm that the government was shipping illegals to his community and refusing to reveal the migrants' COVID-19 infection rates.

Yet Dr. Fauci has remained curiously quiet about all of this.

His silence has not gone unnoticed.

One of the leading voices calling out Fauci's refusal to call out the border crisis' COVID-19 threat is the man who served as chief of staff to former President Donald Trump.

Mark Meadows made his observation Wednesday afternoon on Twitter.

"There was no policy, medical or otherwise, that Dr. Fauci wouldn't weigh in on when President Trump was in the White House," Meadows wrote. "Curious we haven't heard from the same Dr. Fauci on Joe Biden releasing thousands of COVID untested migrants into the U.S."

Meadows isn't the only Fauci critic to note the good doctor's refusal to comment on the border situation.

Alabama Republican Rep. Mo Brooks and a number of other GOP lawmakers fired off a letter to Fauci on March 12 asking him to use his clout to stop "a dangerous new foreign pipeline for COVID-19" along the U.S.-Mexico border, AL.com reported.

The letter stated that Biden's "dangerous" policy of "catch-and-release" along the southern border has caused an uptick in illegal crossings, exposing "the lack of any uniform testing requirements or quarantine protocols — despite the fact that Mexico now has the highest per capita COVID fatality rate in Latin America."

Pima County Officials Spy on Medical Doctor After He Speaks Out Against Local Mask Mandate

Dr. Josh Dopko, an Emergency Room doctor who doesn’t even live in Pima County, Arizona was spied on for weeks, had his social media monitored, and investigated for speaking out against the Tucson mask mandates.

All of the information was then given to Pima County’s Health Department.

Garret Lewis at KNST posted an email that was given to Dr. Dopko.

Local authorities were spying on him and put together a report on a protest he was participating in.

Garret Lewis added, “Things are so insane in communist Pima county (Tucson). An ER doctor spoke out against Pima county’s mask mandate and covid restrictions that the county and health department had a deputy spy on him. The name on the top of the email is the communist and always wrong Pima county health department director, Theresa Cullen. Crazy woman. This is the memo leaked to Dr. Josh Dopko by a Pima County Sheriff’s Department employee showing that Pima County’s Health Department used law enforcement to spy on him.”

This is very disturbing. They are actually spying on a medical doctor who has an opposing view!
