So the thousands of years of parishioners bringing all those "Best of your flock" sacrifices to the temple so the priests could have a BBQ every weekend were all for naught? Because you are basically asserting the doctrine that God was pissed at the lack of perfect sacrifices, so he decided to one-up his followers with the real deal after a couple thousand years.
