Grew up just across the line from WV. We made fun of it for being poor and full of hicks. That was well before I ever knew the virtues of those kinds of places. Not as much infrastructure, difficult terrain, cheap land, and a whole shitload of people willing to say fuck Washington. These days, it has a lot going for it. I also like Tennessee and Kentucky.

A year ago, when this thing was first getting going, there were already studies about the virus not liking the heat. Warm climates were doing better than cold climates regarding the spread of the 'virus'. We talked a lot about simple and obvious things like Vitamin C, Vitamin D, salt air, HCQ. Glad I live in the tropics about a mile from the ocean.

Imagine if this whole thing had been regarded rationally, we wouldn't even be tracking cases at this point.
