I actually don't trust Q posting here. He did say back in the 8chan days no post or communications outside "this platform" (8chan) Past, Present or Future.
8chan went down and now there is this 8kun. Therefore everything must be taken with a certain distrust. This isn't 8chan and the dark days are where everything sort of seemed to go off the rails. Did we ever get a proper explanation for that?

After all was said and done though I do consider myself slightly stupid for not doing Air Force. Couple of months in Kuwait and Somalia with no AC and you find out the AF had to have it for their computers and I felt pretty fucking dumb a few times being a Gunbunny. I did however get a FAT bonus for doing it.
My wife is descended from a "Best of the Best". Silent Drill Team, guarded AF1… the works. Died in a Helicopter crash 4 months before retirement as an E-8 in Vietnam due to bad work done on a CH47. Rotors crossed and POOF.
They are an awesome machine when maintained right. One of the fastest helicopters out there.

Been there done that. We had a gut pack a powder charge with no round in front of it. What a sight to behold. Charge 7 WB.

It was during a 6 round FFE that this happened. They called Gas right in the middle of it. Got my mask on and I was setting the round in the back deck of the Howitzer when I heard "FIRE" and was all WTF? #1 man got all confused in the fray. This was a major issue as now we were sitting there with a 110# High Explosive Artillery shell and no way to launch it down range.
God times. Sometimes I miss it.
