LIVE: Royal mummies moved to Cairo museum in 'Golden Parade' - ORIGINAL
Ruptly is live from Cairo on Saturday, April 3, as 22 royal mummies are set to be moved to a new museum in a log-awaited 'Golden Parade' accompanied by fireworks and a cavalcade.
The mummies of 18 kings and four queens will be moved from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
Once transported they will undergo 15 days of laboratory restoration and will later be exhibited at the Royal Mummies Hall. Credit : United Media Services (UMS)
