Indoctrination. The apostrophe thing is a simple case-in-point. Plural possessives are now simply plurals (my families business is booming), and virtually all plurals have apostrophes (three family's drove together).
Saw high school papers of young relatives receiving top grades with not ONE of these such examples corrected - and they ran consistently throughout the entire things!
Like its comrades in Mockingbird msm and all other Communist-controlled big industries, the "education system" exists to DUMB-DOWN, and make the absurd "normal".
Worked a union job in Commie city for a few years. People who slept on the job = treated like queens by "supervisors". They've probably been "normalizing" this for many decades.
