No charges have been filed, because the state has not been able to prove that the teacher meant to post the video

A high school teacher in Moline, Illinois, has been put on leave from her job after allegedly sharing an explicit of herself having sex on SnapChat in November, Local News 8 reports.

Several students saw the Illinois teacher’s Snapchat sex video.

News of this shocking sexual indiscretion on Snapchat on the part of the Moline High School teacher comes from a Moline, Illinois, Police Department investigation report, which has been heavily redacted.

The report identifies neither the students nor the teacher.

The State’s Attorney’s office has closed the case, and no charges will be filed.

Asked about the sexually explicit Snapchat video, Sangeetha Rayapati, the school board president said that the district is following the necessary administrative policies to the letter of the Illinois law.

All that Rayapati would say about the teacher was that she is on leave.

The drama started when Moline High School Principal Trista Sanders got tipped off that the teacher had posted the sex video on Snapchat, which meant it could be seen by anyone who had friended her on the app.

Sanders called the cops to report the incident on November 7, Quad-City Times reports.

Screenshots of a group chat included with the police report show students discussing the video and debating whether to tell the teacher the video was there.

Malkin aired clips of failed presidential candidates leading group apologies on behalf of whites, children’s cartoons telling children that children’s stories may favor whites, children being harangued by teachers for disagreeing with critical race theory, and parents voicing their concerns – and being doxxed for doing so – as examples of this indoctrination.

“History is racist, immigration laws are racist, voting reform laws are racist, math is racist, and get this, objective academic standards are racist,” summarized Malkin, before showing a clip of an educator successfully arguing for the abolition of academic standards at his institution.

“The anti white propaganda racket is a multi billion dollar industry, not just in higher education, but in K-12 schools. In Idaho, state legislators have identified some $18 million in the public education budget that supports critical race theory,” Malkin continued, before airing a clip of a concerned mother.

“A healthy and functioning sovereign nation would teach its children to be grateful for their privileges, not ashamed of them.” She concluded, “Until a unified movement of parents, teachers, and educators and elected officials band together to defund and deplatform anti-white denigration, we will remain on a path toward civilizational suicide.”

The essay, published Thursday and titled “Trumpers on the rehab trail: Does America just want to forget this happened?” begins with Salon politics staff writer Chauncey DeVega stating “nothing good emerged from Donald Trump’s regime” while accusing it of “authoritarianism, white supremacy, neofascism, and anti-human ideology.”

“Destruction and political sadism were its instruments and its goals,” DeVega continues. “It was also massively corrupt, a carnival of greed, corruption, self-dealing, and fraud.”

DeVega also accuses the Trump administration of executing a “coordinated campaign of terror” which “put nonwhite immigrants and migrants in concentration camps where women and girls were sexually abused,” with some women “subjected to forced hysterectomies.”

“The regime also stole migrant and refugee children away from their parents, literally disappearing them into a labyrinthine bureaucracy,” DeVega writes, in reference to false claims surrounding Trump administration border migration policies.

In addition, the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic is blamed for having “led to the deaths of more than 550,000 people, through a mix of negligence, incompetence, and cruelty.”

Niger’s President Mohamed Bazoum Appoints New Prime Minister Just Days After Failed Coup

Niger’s newly-elected President Mohamed Bazoum has appointed Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou as Prime Minister.

According to the president's official statement broadcast on national television on Saturday, Mahamadou, the former chief of staff, has been instructed to form a new government.

Mahamadou had also served as Niger’s mines and energy minister and as finance minister. He is a member of the "Party for Democracy and Socialism."

Bazoum’s victory in the February election was confirmed by the constitutional court in March amid calls for nationwide protests from Niger’s opposition. The new president’s Friday inauguration ceremony came only a few days after a failed coup attempt and was attended by the leaders of Togo, Chad, Senegal, Mali, Gambia, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire.

After Bazoum’s victory legally was confirmed, his main rival, Mahamane Ousmane, has called for peaceful protests across the country, but a planned opposition march was not allowed to take place by the authorities prior to the swearing-in ceremony.

But it wasn’t until Hunter finished a stint at Grace Grove rehab center in Sedona, Arizona that he and Hallie began a relationship, according to Hunter.

“Feeling physically and mentally purged, I phoned Hallie and asked if she would come to Arizona to pick me up. I wanted her to accompany me on the trip back,” Hunter wrote in “Beautiful Things.” ” I didn’t trust myself to make it home without backsliding — without taking a detour into the pit I fell into on my way there.”

“She flew out the next day. I was at my lowest, she was at her neediest, and we clung to each other with abandon. We talked at length about how much we had come to rely on each other, how our health and well-being seemed dependent on the love we’d grown to share,” he continued.

“There’s no question about the unseen force in the middle of it all: Beau,” Hunter wrote, adding that they’d come to think they could keep Beau alive by being together, “that by loving each other we somehow could love him back into existence.”

“By the time we returned to Delaware at the end of the week, we were no longer just two people bound by shared grief. We were a couple,” the president’s son said.

Gang members were reportedly "instructed" to shoot at Chicago police officers after the Adam Toledo shooting, according to a Saturday report from The Chicago Sun-Times.

Police fatally shot 13-year-old Adam Toledo on Monday.

What's a brief history on this?

Authorities have said that Chicago police officers responded to a city alleyway for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they discovered Adam and a man. One officer ended up chasing the 13-year-old — who police said was armed — and shot him in the chest behind Farragut Career Academy High School.

Adam's mother was not notified of her son's death until two days after the incident, and authorities waited an additional three days to publicly reveal that Adam was just 13 years old.

What are the details?

According to a Chicago Police Department memo to officers, Latin King members were "likely to shoot at unmarked police vehicles" following Toledo's death.

The alert comes from department leaders warning that the narcotics unit learned that "factions of the Latin Kings" were reportedly "instructed by ranking members" to shoot at police officers.

The alert did not state why the gang would be retaliating against officers.

According to the outlet, the city's Civilian Office of Police Accountability vowed it would show the "troubling video footage" of the encounter to the family, and then release it to the public.

7 Democratic governors urge Biden to lift Trump-era $10K cap on tax deductions, saying the 'assault' costs their constituents billions of dollars

Seven Democratic governors on Friday called on President Joe Biden to lift the $10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions that was a part of former President Donald Trump's massive 2017 tax law, arguing the 'assault' disproportionately targeted Democratic-run states and ultimately increased taxes on families.

The letter comes a little more than a week after U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen agreed to work with Congress on a way to remedy the 'inequities' the cap has caused.

The governors of Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York and Oregon spelled out in a two-page letter how their constituents are paying billions of dollars annually in additional taxes to the federal government.

It's roughly $12 billion more in California and in New York; approximately $3 billion in New Jersey; $370 million in Hawaii, and $1.3 billion in Connecticut, which pays more into the federal government while receiving back less per capita than any other state, according to the letter.

'This assault disproportionately targeted Democratic-run states, increasing taxes on hardworking families,' the letter reads. 'This was unacceptable then, and is simply untenable given the dire economic conditions caused by the pandemic.'

The governors said they were heartened to hear Yellen's willingness to work with Congress to ease the impact of the $10,000 cap and urged Biden's administration and Congress 'to continue these efforts to relieve this immense financial burden on our residents and eliminate the SALT cap entirely.'

Yellen gave the governors some hope earlier this month when she responded to a question from New Jersey U.S. Rep. Josh S. Gottheimer, a Democrat, during a March 23 hearing before the House Financial Services Committee.

Apple Knowingly Sold Defective Macbook Pros, Says California Judge

When Apple launched a new butterfly keyboard with the MacBook Pro some years ago, it was slapped with a class-action lawsuit for its defective keyboards. Now a second class-action lawsuit could be in the making called "flexgate."

According to The Verge, Apple opted for fragile flex cables instead of beefier wires for its screens on MacBook Pro models in 2016. The new lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, is over the MacBook Pro developing "stage light" issues at the bottom of the screen, eventually leading to a complete failure.

Law360 reports that US District Judge Edward Davila decided this week to allow the "flexgate" lawsuit to move forward, ruling that Apple knew it was selling defective MacBook Pros.

A California federal judge has trimmed a proposed class action against Apple claiming it hid display defects on 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops but left intact fraudulent omission claims after determining the proposed class adequately alleged Apple failed to disclose information concerning the alleged defect.

US District Judge Edward Davila determined that the consumers' allegations of Apple conducting intensive pre-release testing, which the consumers say was conducted by a team of "reliability engineers" who carried out stress tests and other procedures that would have alerted Apple to defects behind the display failures, sufficiently demonstrate that Apple was aware of the alleged defect.

The judge added that consumer complaints concerning the alleged display defect also would have put Apple on alert.

"The court finds that the allegations of pre-release testing in combination with the allegations of substantial customer complaints are sufficient to show that Apple had exclusive knowledge of the alleged defect," the judge wrote in his opinion.

The problem that Apple incurred was that it switched to a thinner ribbon cable in the affected models that would result in a tear and eventual failure of the screen. The problem was so widespread, consistent, and infuriating to tens of thousands of Apple users that it was mindboggling Apple CEO Tim Cook would even allow the defective models even to be sold.

But while Cook had to please shareholders at the expense of selling defective MacBook Pros, the company ran across a significant issue to swap out the $6 cord. Apple's design made it nearly impossible to replace. The $6 problem was transformed into a $600 disaster as Apple eventually had to replace the already sold MacBook Pro cables.

The lawsuit also accuses Apple of deleting Official Apple Support Community posts complaining about the issue.

At the moment, there are nine different plaintiffs lined up for the case against Apple knowingly selling defective Macbook.
