There is an ongoing special operation near the city of Mytishchi with several Rosgvardia SOBR teams who came under fire after trying to search a home for weapons.

The gunmen is reportedly 61-year-old Vladimir Bardanov who kept members of his family hostage after the security services arrived at his home. He opened fire on them and threw grenades at the officers. TASS reports that one SOBR officer was wounded and that the gunman, who runs a company, threw at least 20 grenades at Rosgvardia officers. The gunman also apparently owns a private zoo with tigers, bears, and a lynx.
