Same thing happened to me, AND i got the exact message as you, banned on 4/1 already appealed on 4/1 and I got this notice first on the night of 3/30… not even 3/31..
About 2 or 3 weeks ago I was banned in a similar way but accused of botspamming, it eventually just cleared up on its own..
Now all I know how to do is get on TOR and cycle thru IPs until it lets me post… but a lot of IPs receive the same ban message…not using any vpn… feel its a regional ban that sometimes occurs.. its slow tonight because so many are banned, its far from personal..
and after testing posting without tor, and then cycling thru like 40 identities and getting the same error, and then going back to non-tor browser and trying one more time.. it seems the ban has lifted.. no idea.
Fuck, read before responding.. NO VPN on my non-tor browser.. And while banned without TOR, I was able to cycle thru IPs on tor until finding one that wasn't banned.

My theory is regional ban.. 2nd time it happened to me within maybe 40 days.. first accused of botspamming immediately after bots did attack the board, then got the "I can't tell the difference" message you got here.. maybe this time it was some BO/BV from /random/ fucking around with ban auth.
No faggot has offered any explanation other than "VPN, duh"

Who the fuck banned everyone? Was it just a shitty april fools joke? Not a funny one really.. and this is a repeat from me getting banned for "botspamming" several weeks ago, which I'm sure others experienced as well.. I think I wound up asking around on another board and people there were saying they were banned from kun for botspamming as well.

it wasn't personal.. I suspect they were trying to ban a bunch of random IPs, by way of regional bans or something.. because I don't normally use tor, but I did after being banned and I would have to cycle thru like 20 IPs before finding one that wasn't banned, and the context of the ban was from /random/ for all of them (and other anons reporting bans).. not /qresearch/.. but it was the exact same "I can't tell the difference" post..
