I always remember how reasonable islam was becoming in the 60s and early 70s. Then """someone""" started funding the muslim brotherhood and creating groups like isis and promoting extreme islam. I have a video somewhere from Egypt the 60s it was a joke that women would have to wear the veil.

Yes. Large numbers of Americans pretty much think people with a British accent are geniuses. Consider Snowden, who originally had that subtype of the North Carolina accent (like David Knight) which is a dead ringer for the British accent
