Taiwan reports new incursion by Chinese jets into defence zoneTAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan’s Defence Ministry on Monday reported a new incursion by China’s air force into the island’s air defence identification zone, made up of eight fighter jets and two other aircraft, one of which flew through the strategic Bashi Channel.

Spouse: Flora Marguerite /Zier/ Woodworth 1890 – 1980, Marriage 8 Sept. 1913 in Inglewood, Los Angeles, California

Daughter: Marjorie Flora /Woodworth/ Kosturick 1919 – 2000

 

Loving Son, husband and Father, born and raised in Inglewood California. In 1909 Clyde Graduated from Inglewood Union High School. He was the first editor of the Green and White Yearbook of the new High School. Clyde attended Occidental College 1 year then the University of Southern California Night Law School. Then in 1913 he became the youngest Inglewood City Attorney also serving other cities as well. Clyde served as Attorney for 43 years, retiring in 1956. Two years before Clyde retired The Clyde Woodworth Elementary School was dedicated in his name. From 1919 - 1920 Clyde was the first alumnus to become a trustee of the Union High School District. Clyde Woodworth was the first President of the Inglewood Bar Association and belonging to numerous organizations associated with law. From 1927 - 1942 served as clerk of the Bord of Trustees for The First Presbyterian Church. A member of The Masons, Rotary Club, Elks and Inglewood Lodge. He helped organize the local Y.M.C.A.in 1937. He has a city street named after him as well. Dozens of early newspapers spoke of his remarkable oratorical talents. He was a historian.
