What would be effective and totally destroy the prosecution's case would be for the defense to illustrate in real time,with real actors exactly what is depicted in the video.
Have the actors come into the court room. One is Floyd, the other Chauvin. Have Floyd lay down, hands cuffed behind his back and his head turned to his right while the other actor positions himself in the exact position Chauvin was in with his knee in the exact spot it was on Floyd's neck.
You can tell that Chauvin was not "bearing down" on Floyd and there was no attempt by Chauvin to put as much pressure as possible on Floyd's neck. Chauvin's upright, slightly forward position bears this out.
You can not asphyxiate someone in this position. The windpipe is underneath and totally free. While not a comfortable position to be in, it is impossible to suffocate someone like this. Neck injury? Vertebrae, disk injury in the cervical area? Maybe. But not DEATH.
George Floyd died of a fentynal overdose as he had enough of that drug in conjunction with amphetamine, marijuana in his system to kill 3 people.

Well, whatever this is, it is real. My sister, her husband and their daughter all got it. My sister was not so bad. She's my age, early 60's. Her husband, same age, had to go to the ER twice for the fever. HE ran a fever for 10 fucking days. My niece who is in her mid twenties got sick as a fucking dog. Her husband never even came down with it. They all live together.
