UPDATE: The shooter has been identified as 38-year-old Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet. According to the police, Woldensenbet lived in Frederick, Maryland, and served at a rank of E4. Police say Woldenbet drove to Ft. Detrick and sped past the gate and was pursued by the Ft. Detrick force. The suspect did brandish a rifle.
