i dont know if its flat, but i can tell you this i am a communications operator and i specialize in high frequency

with different thoughts and methods I always "cheated" and won based stupid exercises on a point system for most accurate connections.

off my own math instead of what the math they taught for antenna theory, what not.

But i do know, with my own two eyes, and my work experience, which has been with all types of radios, harris green carc style, to modern iridium sat phones, TMR cell network radios (trunk mobile radio), sat dishes(ranging from 5mb to 100mb tunnels) work with WGS-5 and tons of professionals and they all seemed to "do it their way" and that was how I learned. I got lucky as a young private to go with experienced guys, then a few lucky postings here and there, and i was hands on with tons anything you can think of from manpacks-satellites and all spectrums.

they have lied to us that is for sure, i know they have lied to us on many other things. so I refuse to have the blinders on any possibilities.

but this one takes the cake, what we are on, or what we are taught, is false.
