To fulfill the law of Moses.
Do you believe it was God who gave that law to Moses? How many witnesses does that law take to establish a matter and convict someone?
The bible tells you your accuser is Moses, and the one who accuses God day and night will be thrown down.
When you deny Truth, you deny Him. Anytime you claim a Truth as a lie or misunderstanding you deny Him.
Jesus Christ is LITERALLY Truth.
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
Why do you think Jesus said "Truly truly…" all the time?
He is the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life. Truth is the Way to everlasting Life. Many claim to know Him and be known by Him, but they they reject Truth.
"“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’"
