I think there are enough punitive measures for disobedience in the UCMJ that they (mil brass) don’t really concern themselves too much with whether or not those under their command trust them. It’s always do it or else in the military. Maybe the National Guard is the key since they were the ones originally tasked with distributing the vax. If there’s an anon in the NG or close to someone who is they might be able to address your inquisitions better. Btw, the military is comped and woke now. My son was a tanker but the USMC got rid of tanks. He’s in some supply unit now but it’s quite demoralizing to him as he is hard core. He could go infantry but doesn’t want to deal with going to school with Marines who, for the most part, are fresh out of boot camp. He’s actually thinking about switching branches and going to Ranger school. It has been an option for some of the Marines with more time served in his former tank unit.
