I have a theory that they are dropping bed bug eggs (highly fucking resilient) and shit onto us too. Never dealt with those fuckers until I moved to the city, apparently 1 in 5 people have an infestation. Mass migration doesn't help either, lice outbreaks occurring at the border facilities which are basically bed bugs on the scalp, and crabs are infestation of the nether regions.
If a tenant doesn't stay ontop of the infestation and they make a hive behind the walls the building basically needs to be burned down lol. Problem is many people do not react to the bites so they don't even know they have a problem. I had to double-side tape the baseboards and create a moat, taped around my bed, constantly sprayed vinegar and rubbing alcohol around the place, and diffuse essential oils into the air (most bugs breathe through their skin and get nauseous around scents).
I didn't realize I was a city guy until I lived in one. I operate most efficiently under pressure and in chaos. If the flaws were taken care of and malevolence taken out of the picture I wouldn't mind the idea of a smart-city. Not for everyone though.
