I am sympathetic to the “as a corporation” arg, but you cannot deny millions of legal scholars dismiss this possibility out of hand. Proof of this fact could be effectively concealed over time, but that is no small task. I have an insider contact, I know only a moran drops this point as a substantive justification, but afaik he is about as legit as they come & he says the 1871 US as a corporation theory is total malarkey.
All that being said, it would make for a mighty tidy justification for upending the stranglehold of these fucks over us. There’s little things that bother me in particular, ie the tech startup org/incubator 1871 in chicago, which has a local explanation for its name, but it’s impossible to disentangle the irony of its role in usurping emergent tech ideas on behalf of the VC community. iirc Q never mentions it. I feel for ya on wanting finality or even just clarity with this, maybe another fren can help. In the meantime, remember you’re not alone in finding the ambiguity frustrating as fuck.
