TY Frens…great job on tidying things up.
Night Shift is comfy for sure!
It would be a lot of work. Tons of work. An EXTREMELY DIFFICULT work.
Who is going to do the "roundup" and "confiscation"?
The pushback would be tremendous indeed.
Just thinking about just a handful of people that I know of in surrounding neighborhoods have that gun safes with multiple guns and 1000's rounds of munitions. How do you deal with just those people? A few phone calls and "Patriots" would be on the ready.
As soon as word got out that "someone" is coming after your legal guns, then undoubtedly the freedom loving Americans would step up to the plate and each neighborhood would become a fortress in defensive posture.
As least in my area, the police would have to be totally compromised for them to participate at some point in the gun confiscation process. Heavily doubt that the officers would take part it such nonsense.
When enough people see that something even "gun control-light" is beginning to take place, there is no way in heck that thousands of freedom loving men would just let it happen. Most folks don't tell other people about the guns they have.
Just one Anon's Thoughts and Opinions on what would happen if Gun Control becomes more real.
You are a poet,
And now we all know it.
Ready to put it to music?
Title?? How about:
"Joe's my Bad Rad Dad"
"Parmesan Powder Blues"
"It's More than a Laptop to Me"
…
Ya…don't do that! I have to be careful too, particularly when I get on a rant. Why would I even state for this platform how many guns I or my family have or don't have.
A few weeks ago, my son was holding one of our neighbors guns from his rifle collection. It was the same one used on "Quigley Down Under". Very heavy barrel.
50 caliber. Boom. Ouch.
Yep, not saying that. It's interesting to think of when the neighborhood kids were doing their airsoft gun "battles". They were pretty creative and worked as teams. It is an interesting thing to consider of what would actually have to take place before all the Freedom loving Patriots in just my area would lose their patience and rally forth for the cause. All the liberal wussies would probably start crying…then end up cheering.
That's funny. My son wanted to watch it after hefting the rifle, so a bunch of us watched it a few days later.
One of my favorite lullaby songs is part of the music in the movie, particularly when Crazy Cora is protecting the baby from the dingos: "All The Pretty Little Ponies"
Kenny Loggins did a version:

FROM PREVIOUS BREAD to suggest including in Notables:
>Yet, it is STILL HERE. How? How can this place ALWAYS bounce back and be ready to go? I suspect freedom and liberty loving assets/patriots are keeping this place alive, working in various USA agencies, doing their thing to preserve liberty.
Nice Opine Anon!
Fully back what you've said and I've been at this (albeit not on just on this "board") for a dozen years. What trying to help to crowdsource based "citizen journalist" stuff and get the whistleblowers to both be protected and willing to come out. Obama said one thing, yet did the other. Maddening!
The biggest point I try to help people understand is the concept of"Where We Go One, We Go All". That is, for a large enough number of people to get frustrated before backing and insisting on change, we must be taken to the precipice.
Think about it:
Our Sacred Vote (Voice) had to Be Messed with Before We ALL GOT THE IDEA of how important election integrity is.
We ALL had to witness the extreme liberal takeover and what they would do, under the guise of a President suffering from dementia, before enough people (even common, non-political people) got sufficiently frustrated.
We ALL had to witness our borders being infiltrated blatantly, before we realized how precious a protected border and the sovereignty of a nation is.
Shout out to all faithful and dutiful Anons, Bakers, Notetakers, and Volunteers for keeping at it!!

True…but our ingenuity would kill off the chip in no time.
For chips to be installed, the Gov't would have to go into the gun "inspection" business or gun "manufacturing" business. Patriots would clue in very early.
We are very sensitive to 2A issues.
