had no choice but to have emergency surgery last week. life or death. hospital insisted on nasal swab covid test before i was admitted. since i was not in a position to bargain or shop for another hospital, i acquiesced. i've dealt with them in the past and they are a first rate institution. just about the only one i'd trust within 100 mi.
swab used was very thin and flexible, resembling a pipe cleaner, but MUCH thinner. person administering the test did NOT insert if very far at all. barely unpleasant. how concerned do you guys think i need to be?
